"No! Please! Mom!" Shaun cried out in his sleep. "Shaun wake up." His sister Shaziyah was trying to be as comforting as she could, considering that they didn't share a mom, and they both never met their dad. They found each other on Facebook, and both took a blood test. Ever since they found out about them being siblings, it's been a never ending cycle of saving each other. It was Shaziyah's turn to make sure that Shaun was okay. " Shaziyah, I slipped up last night. I went to Mario's crib and bought some cocaine. It felt good yo. To finally feel like all my problems are gone, to feel all this pain leave my body. I miss my mama ziyah. She's gone and I can't do anything about it." Shaziyah wrapped her arms around his neck. Both of them cried. Shaun was slowly slipping back into drugs. His mother was what kept him going, and since now she's gone, all he got is a sister he sees when they need help from each other. Shaun backed up and turned to the window behind him. He stood there for a moment before he decided it was time to get out of the house and back onto the streets. Shaziyah didn't stop him. She knew all he needed was a moment to figure things out for himself. Shaun walked out of the apartment building and into the corner store. This was D's corner. D is a big time dealer who has been in the game for 20 years. Nobody knows his real name. He got a girl. Her name is Zayna. D and Zayna have 2 kids. Corey and Justin. They next in the game to take over his empire. Shaun saw Corey and Justin walking his way. Ever since Shaziyah stopped messing with Justin, they have been beefing with Shaun. They shot up his house, sent him death threats, and even tried to jump him on his way to the park. "Ayo, you know this our corner. What you think you doing?" Said Justin puffing up his chest to seem bigger that he actually was. Corey stood next to him and started cracking his knuckles. Shaun backed up and made a run for it. Corey and Justin went after him. Shaun was bouncing off cars, jumping over fences, and onto rooftops. He lost them. This was enough energy loss for Shaun so he decided to go home. he walked back home with his guard up. Who knew when they would show up again. Shaun started to pick up his pace. He finally reached his block, and as he turned the corner, he was back where he started. D's corner. Justin was back at his original spot, and Corey stood behind him. Shaun hadn't seen them. Corey went up behind him and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. Justin came over and punched him repeatedly in the face. They then kicked him down and spit on him. " you on our corner!" Yelled Justin as he pulled out a gun and waved it in Shaun's face. Shaziyah ran out of the house to where her brother could have been murderer. She jumped in front of Shaun and begged Justin. "Please! What do you want! He ain't do nothin' to you! Just put the gun down. We don't need no more of our people dying Justin!" Shaziyah gasped for air. She was beginning to panic. Some of D's people came running to pull Justin out of the street and into a safe hidden location. "You okay?" Shaziyah questioned Shaun. Shaun moved his hand from his stomach to reveal that he was losing lots of blood. "Corey stabbed me." Shaun's heart started racing. He was burning up.
