76 Chapter 76-: The tournament of power begins

All the universe presents itself for the tournament and soon Zeno also shows himself and with Grand Priest as a referee, he announces the rules to everyone.

But then he points out that Vegeta

"Just as I have heard about you from everyone else, it seems like you do really have some sort of special skill that allows you to heal yourself endlessly"

"!!!!!"

Hearing the Grand Priest's word, everyone is shocked and every single participant from their universe look at Vegeta

Being able to heal yourself endlessly is just too good to be true, especially in the current scene where no one knows how strong the opponent is, it's really godly

BUT

Just when everyone thought that Vegeta would be the ultimate card of Universe 7, Grand Priest told Vegeta

"Even though the skills you possess are amazing but it's not something you've inherited when you were born

Thus, I would like you to not use that healing skill no matter how dire the situation is"

"!!!!"

Everyone from Universe7 is shocked to hear this, but Raditz, Nappa, and Krillin are the ones who are more shocked by this as they know that right now as Vegeta is in his weakest state thanks to the battle against Gohan.

Nappa wanted to say something against Grand Priest but Vegeta stops him

"Alright, if that's what you want then I won't use my healing skill."

"Vegeta.."

The team is surprised by Vegeta's decision but Vegeta had to give up on one of his biggest trump cards because there is nothing that he can do right now against the person who holds the power.

And so Vegeta cant use his healing ability also.

Now what?

Goku stares at Vegeta in silence, he had long sensed the change in him but he has not told anyone in his team about Vegeta's condition as that could lower their moral

Goku is worried about Vegeta's condition but still he didn't say anything yet.

With everything done, the tournament of power begins-

*BOOM BOOM BoOOM BOOOM*

One after another explosions took place around the stadium as every fighter from their universe showed their skills against fighters of another universe.

And the tournament goes as it was in the original story, and soon Goku is in the middle of Danger Triangle (wolf trio)

Frieza is moving all alone, just like Goku and the same is with Android 17

Gohan, Tien, Piccolo, and Krillin are sticking together

As for Vegeta, he is moving with Raditz and Nappa.

No matter how much Vegeta hates his current situation, he has to accept that he is very weak right now.

After his battle against Goha, Vegeta received some hefty damage on his core and that cost him to lose literally half of his power.

It will heal up but it will take a good amount of time before Vegeta is back to his prime form.

Right now his battle power is 3 trillion, which is half of 6 trillion (the power he held during the time he was fighting against Gohan)

Vegeta had used his time on others and that cost him to not focus on himself even though he was bound to get some huge buff according to the story for the Tournament of Power, it didn't happen and he is now stuck in a 3 trillion power level.

Whereas Goku holds a 100 trillion power level.

And also the removal of the Healing ability also puts Vegeta at a complete disadvantage.

He neither can use his SSJ Majestic form nor can he go for Kaio-Ken Infinity or his Sage God form.

He also can't use his SSJ God and Blue form, this means that Vegeta is completely nerfed to the ground and right now, if raw power is considered only, Vegeta is one of the weakest fighters in the whole tourney.

Thus, he will stick with someone for defense purposes until he is completely healed and then only, he will enter the battle, or else… he will get kicked out very soon.

"hmm?"

Vegeta notices Goku inside the danger triangle and having it hard to get out, in the original story, Vegeta is the one who helped him but right now Vegeta is not in the correct position to help so

"Vegeta, want us to help Goku?" Raditz asks Veget as he looks at his little brother

Vegeta starts making calculations about the time it would take him to completely heal up. Vegeta has almost healed himself before he came here but for some reason, he still can't use all of his skills

Thus, he has to wait until…. Last 1 or 2 minutes of the tournament? Before he is back to his full power and that can happen only when he is completely healed

If he had his healing ability, then he could have healed himself in some time, but now... it will take some time to heal the core naturally.

So, Goku needs to be safe till that time to face Jiren

"Raditz, go and assist your little brother, we shall wait for you"

"Yes!"

Raditz leaves to help his little brother and Vegeta, with Nappa, starts moving forward in search of some safe place.

At Raditz side-

*bwoosh*

"Goku! You good?"

"Yes, Big brother

But, shouldn't you be with Vegeta right now?"

"Do not worry about him, he knows how to win his battle so let's worry about ourselves rather than worrying about him"

"But… Vegeta is not at his full power right?

So I think it's better for you to stay with him."

"What?

What do you mean by not being in full power?

He is strong-"

"Big Brother, I have long sensed Vegeta's power and I know the whole situation with Vegeta

Don't know how he lost his power, but I think it's related to Gohan.

Thus, you don't need to hide anything from me and be worried about me.

Rather you should be by Vegeta's side and protect him till he is back to his full power."

Raditz looks at his little brother, he gave a smile.

"I am happy to hear that you are worried about Vegeta, but you are forgetting that Vegeta is not someone like us all Saiyans

He is royalty, a Prince

He knows what he is doing and also knows very well what he needs to do to survive this tournament.

So do not worry about him."

Goku nods to his big brother's words and then Lavender and his brothers attack them.

"Quit the chatting you TWO!!"

*WHOOSH*

*BANG BANG BANG*

And so, Raditz plays the character of Vegeta just like in the original story.

At Vegeta's side-

"Was it a good decision to let Raditz leave?

Goku would have been more than enough to handle the trio" Nappa asks Vegeta

"Leave it, he is worried about his little brother

It's better that he stays by his little brother's side.

Also, I believe that you will be more than enough to handle many foes by yourself as I won't be giving any assistance to you or anyone else for a while."

"YES!

Do not worry Vegeta, I shall keep you safe till the time you are back to your prime."

Vegeta nods and so they stood behind a large boulder in silence.

*BOOOM BOOOM*

*KHAAAA*

Screams from fighters could be heard around the whole tournament as the battle goes intense and finally Universe 9 is the first to get removed.

Gohan, Piccolo, Tien, and Krillin are doing really well in holding their positions and the scene where Krillin was slapped out of the stadium didn't happen as Krillin's whole body reacted before Frost could land his attack.

Krillin is no longer the person he used to be, his whole body has been through a lot and now he is a full-fledged martial artist who still holds his childish side but no longer to be someone to be looked down upon.

The battle around the tournament went the way it should, Auto Magetta wanted to fight against Vegeta but he is hidden so they went in some other direction and soon Goku stands in front of Kale (ultra Saiyan) and Caulifla.

And just as the story goes, Kale shows her ultra-super Saiyan form which shocks everyone, and then Jiren puts her down to make sure she doesn't cause any further damage.

Goku wanted to fight against Jiren but was stopped by Top and then five fighters from universe 11 came to fight against Goku and Raditz.

Just as in the original story, the 5 fighters were pushed out of the ring and now female fighters of Universe 2 called out everyone to show their transformation

And then the whole arena is filled with pink color.

Seeing the situation, Gohan decides to leave their position and fight on their own.

Brianne, from universe 2, fought against Raditz but Raditz dodged her attack and she lands her rolling attack on Dyrasem from universe 10

The story is moving in the same manner as it was in the original and Vegeta got no interest in making any changes to it till he don't heal back.

Android 17 is having his own fun with Sanka Coo from Universe 2 and finally eliminates her with her flying friend.

Warriors are falling here and there, and everyone is fighting with everything they have to offer to make sure their universe survives but for how long can Vegeta remain hidden from these fighters?
