12 Been here, they done it.

The carriage bounced and I briefly lost my place. I had already finished catalogue of enchantments and got the skill points from it. So I had returned to my book I got as a bonus. I had figured out its name. The book was called Pel Se Gahrot Zul, or translated, writings of stolen voice. Its name made sense, it was writings of a literal stolen language.

The carriage bounced again and I gritted my teeth. It wasn't the carriages fault after all. The roads just sucked. The first half of the book was translation. Letters, words, the basics. The other half of the book was... I honestly couldn't figure out.

Despite the first half having a massive translation guide. The second half had a word that kept appearing. Silovaas, it had no translation. Sill meant heart and Lovaas was music. However combined it meant basically nothing. However my only hint was that it was always followed by Lah. The dragon word for magic.

I rubbed my chin. It certainly couldn't be Heart Music Magic. So it must be some advanced word. One that wasn't actually used by dragons. Like how Dragonrend used Joor Zah Frul. Which translated to Mortal Finite and Temporary. Which were all words only used by men. That was the whole point, those words didn't exist in the dragon tongue. So best guess, Silovaas didn't exist within the dragon tongue naturally either.

It was a real head scratcher. Perhaps... The carriage bumped and I lost my train of thought. Actually every next second was a bump. The carriage driver called out, "Sorry about the road. If you haven't heard Helgen was recent destroyed. Some of the roads have been destroyed along with it. I would've taken the western road to Falkreath. However it's been getting attacked a lot by the forsworn. I wish Markarth would do something about them."

I sighed, "It's fine. Will we be passing through Helgen?"

The carriage driver shook his head, "Hah! you are really buried in that book of yours. No, we already passed Helgen. Almost to Falkreath in-fact."

I raised an eyebrow, I pulled out my bow. "That bridge up head will drop some falling rocks. Speed up its a bandit trap."

It seems we were passing pinewatch. He realized it to and threw the reigns. The horse sped up running past the falling rocks as I saw a bandit pulling the lever. I shit and arrow at them and it hit them in the shoulder. I sighed a little, I really needed to work on that aim.

The carriage driver laughed, "Nice shot, thank goodness you noticed that or I'd have to get a new horse and we would've had to fight or run."

I sat back down, "Lucky more like, if roads were so distracting I would've still been reading."

He smiled, "All the same! We will be at Falkreath within the next minute by the way."

I nodded and I just watched the road as we slowly pulled up to Falkreath. He called out as I got off the carriage. "Be careful I hear there was a werewolf attack."

I nodded and began to look around. Falkreath wasn't that big compared to Solitude however it was almost double the size. If it wasn't for the trusty sign that indicated a shop or Inn I'd have been lost. The Jail and Jarl Manor was obvious too.

I had a few things I wanted to do in Falkreath. First was to see if another player came through Falkreath. Thinking about it perhaps no one would come here. If they did it would likely be for the Dark Brotherhood. However just using the password may get them killed though. Hm, unless they made it part of their backstory maybe.

I guess the best way to test is to see about Barbas. I walked over to the blacksmith, "Hey is Lod here?"

He peeked around the corner and responded, "Aye, why are you looking for me?"

I rubbed my neck, "Uh, did you ask someone to find a dog outside Falkreath yet? Like give them some meat too."

Lod paused, "Uh, yes I did. They told me it might be more trouble than it was worth."

I sighed, so someone had come through Falkreath. I asked something new. "Were they acting suspiciously. Like check out the jail or perhaps asked about dark brotherhood?"

Lod eyes widened, "Eh? Are you..."

I held out a hand, "I'm Vek Frostwane, bounty hunter and so on. The individual I'm currently hunting is... Dangerous. So if you know any details of where he went or headed. I would appreciate it greatly."

Lod nodded, "Damn, I guess I lost 25 gold. I believe he headed in the direction of Helgen. I don't know if he went to the Jailhouse or not. You'd have to ask them."

I smiled, "Thank you very much Lod. I'll check in with them."

I marched over to the Falkreath Barracks. I waved to the guard and he stopped me. "Whoa there. What are you doing?"

I gave a slight shrug, "I wish to talk to Sinding. May I talk to him?"

The guard sighed, "Are you another who wishes to interrogate him? I'm sorry to say, but he escaped with the help of a strange man. A redguard, he was a tad rambling. He ended up leaving toward Helgen. Something about a cave."

I clicked my tongue, "Thank you, I will continue my investigation elsewhere."

So this redguard player had grabbed Barbas and the cursed Hircine ring and headed to Haemar's Shame. At leas that was where I assume he should be going since he went toward Helgen. I sighed and got moving.
