WORST CONDITION

Meeting him out there was nice. Yeah! He was perfectly equal to what I expected. Nonsense what am I thinking from last two hours. I am being stupid thinking about a man I hated the most in this world. Is there nothing to think? I have no shelter and no food to feed myself and Tommie. Hell is this that I am feeling pressed at one side of the van. The fat lady besides me is playing game of push and pull with me and I am silly because I am saying nothing in response. The bad lucks are part of my every good luck. When I was small I met Faydee Fatrouni and I did not recognize him. In last days, Mary, my friend, invited me for dinner and when I had started to take my first bite of homemade pizza, she looked at me smiling and asked for my family. Mary always pinches me once or twice a day with the name of my family. She knows everything about me even my first celebrated birthday. Besides all, she is the only friend to me with whom I can never break up.

"hellok! Miss white….. I am asking you my money"

"...money….."

"yeah! Money for your ride"

"Oh! take money please. Thanks for ride"

Oouch! Every time I start thinking I am uncontrollable. Suddenly a flash of motive of my being in a foreign land hit my mind deep and hard. I need to find an apartment. I must kill that man I thought this day earlier. He is the villain of my life. That crazy man has taken everything from me. I am homeless. Where the hell I would find my place to live? Every time I see my Tommie, I am always at fire. Sometimes I think of revenge and sometimes to avenge that villain.

"Come and have discount for clothes. They are cheap!"

Clothes…I glanced at myself and smirked. A white T-shirt with blue jeans reminded me of the last day I met my father in the rain at bus stand. He was there to leave me to the strange world. He did not believe me and acted as if he was not my father. He loved me too much but he let me go.

"Sandwich in twenty...only twenty rupees madam

For a second I restored my present state and searched for money in my bag. Ten thousand and fifty rupees were in my bag. How long I have to stay homeless and empty stomach? God knows. I relished every moment of my life when I was home. I had lost my paradise due

to that devil. I took a deep breath and took sandwich in twenty. I held Tommie near me at the place near the shop.

"You are the one who believed me, Tommie".

Tommie felt comfortable when I patted him. He made me smile and I felt like someone is with me. He always enjoyed my company. I made myself ready for my project of the day. Find an apartment and a job within a day and the time was 8 a.m.

In seconds, Tommie was following me to street 9. Every street was a new world in itself. Street 9 was different in a sense that it was less noisy and less crowded. It was serene and peaceful and the wonder is that I found a pamphlet on display showing a small apartment costing 7 thousand only. I was happy to find what I wanted. I decided to move to the place where my dream would come true. The unknown smile on my face was of victory as I was soon going to have my own home. I will call Mary and inform her about this good luck. She thought I would not find the place for myself in this foreign land. I relished the moments of triumph beforehand. My each step was heading towards the apartment I was going to buy soon. I will never go back to my so-called world again. I hated to be back to the place where I am not trusted.

The door opened at third forceful knock. The same fat lady who was playing tug of war with me in the van was giving twenty thousand volt smile. I looked into her eyes first which were dark brown and then my eyes were in constant contact with her smile.

"urrrgh..."

"O mam! I want to meet the landlord. Are you the landlady?"

"I am not Miss White. The landlord had not attended my calls even from the last week. It seems that he is busy somewhere in his business."

"Business???"

"Do you want to know his business?"

"No mam! I have my own interests to deal with. I wanted to buy the apartment but it seems like there is even no space for me to live here. I must leave now as I have to find another place to live."

"Hey Miss White…"

"I am not Miss White but Luna Ash…"

"O…. I have heard your name somewhere lady. Lemme guess! Are you the wife of Mr. Peter Ash?"

"aaaaaa…."

This was enough to make my mood off. I was here because of that villain. That rogue had played a game with me. He had taken smile from my face. I had a formal goodbye meeting with that man last days and he insulted me as hell. He is such a monster whom my family believes. Every storm of my life has been brought up by him. That day he was wearing the blue jeans and white shirt, sitting cross legged on the chair at five star. He always acted like a gentleman because he was an excellent actor of the industry. He had done many movies and he was rich enough to buy almost everything of this world. He was so true to his business that he thought life itself to be the movie and himself to be a hero. And I bet he could never be a hero in his real life. But he looked like a hero to me before I got to know his reality. The melodrama of his last encounter replayed in my memory within a second.

"What do you mean? You think that I have stolen the money from your account."

"Luna Ash! You have done this shameful act."
