210 Chapter 210: Mathematic Olympiad result

At Sunday morning, around 9.15 am, Bai Yi Yang was forced to woke up because her phone is ringing. The called is the Maths club coordinator, Teacher Ai. Bai Yi Yang took her phone and walk out if the bedroom still half awake.

"Hello?" Bai Yi Yang pick up the phone.

"Ah, Student Bai, it's Teacher Ai." Teacher Ai from the other side voice sounds a bite excited.

"Yes. How are you Teacher Ai?" Bai Yi Yang said politely.

"Good, good. It's like this, your name is included in the award winner from the last Mathematics Olympiad, you got a Gold medal." Teacher Ai said happily. Bai Yi Yang thought for a while and finally remember, it was about 1 month ago, she almost forgot about it since she have been busy with a lot of stuff.

"Is that true?" Bai Yi Yang ask again.

"Yes. Are you excited? You can't believe it right?" Teacher Ai laughing sound can be heard from the other side.

"Ye..yes.." Bai Yi Yang laugh awkwardly. Well, can't say that she is very excited too, clearly she joined that competition not because she really loves Mathematics.

"Ah, my good student. I am so proud of you." Teacher Ai said again.

"Tomorrow, we will head from the school early in the morning, we should be able to arrive before 10.00 am in City Nan university for the award ceremony. You are fine with it right, you can tell you family in advance. After the award ceremony, we will return back on the same day." Teacher Ai add.

"Teacher, who else is going?" Bai Yi Yang said.

"Ah, look at me forget to tell you. There is Student Li Jian Yu who got Silver, your classmate Student Su Long who got Bronze and two other students who got Honourable mention. The result this year is very good. This is yours and Student Su Long first time participating and you already got medals. You don't know how happy I am that we have student than can represent the school in the future." Teacher Ai said.

Bai Yi Yang is happy for Li Jian Yu and Su Long, as for the two other who got Honourable Mention, Bai Yi Yang remember the other one as their club's President and the other one is a girl from Grade 11.

"Not only are you and Jian Yu good in scientific research, you both are also good in Mathematics. Our school has been receiving good news back to back, finally I can lift up my head when meeting with Sir Austin." Teacher Ai continue to talk. Their club also contributed a Gold medal ah, she can bravely said that.

Bai Yi Yang only laugh softly, well, seems like Teacher Ai is really happy. Bai Yi Yang can only said a few more good words such as Teacher Ai also worked very hard and etc.

After hanging up the phone, Bai Yi Yang is not sleepy anymore. She immediately open the chatting apps and wanted to text Li Jian Yu and Su Long but she found congratulations messages from the Li Jian Yu too. So she replied him and congratulate him back, then went to text Su Long. After that, she put down her phone and went to the kitchen to start making breakfast.

Today, she is making spicy stir fry udon noodle with seafood and then simple miso soup. Bai Yi Yang take her time making the breakfast since her siblings is not awake too.

"Almost there, Su Long gege, you are so free to call this early?"

Bai Yi Yang turn to look at the small figure of Bai Yi Fang holding her phone and talking with someone. The girl hair is still disheveled, seems like she also just woke up.

"Fang Fang, who's that?" Bai Yi Yang still ask.

"Jie! It's Su Long gege, I picked it up because it rings a few times." Bai Yi Fang run over and gave Bai Yi Yang the phone.

"Thanks, drink some water and wait there for a while. Breakfast is almost ready." Bai Yi Yang said before taking the phone.

"Yes Bronze medalist?" Bai Yi Yang chuckled as she talked to the phone. Su Long on the side also laugh softly.

"Did I disturb you cooking?" Su Long ask.

"Nope. Almost done. Congratulations!" Bai Yi Yang said.

"You too. I predicted it but I still can't believe it that you got Gold again. The overall result this years is also not bad, Senior Li is just as good as you." Su Long said.

"Jian Yu target has always been Mathematics. He won't have to worry about entering a good university again." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Yes. Good for him. Next year, I won't settle for a Bronze. I will get Gold like you." Su Long said.

"I am too lazy, can I not join next year?" Bai Yi Yang sigh as she add the tofu block that she have cut into smaller size.

"No way, I am going to drag you again next year." Su Long laugh.

The two chat for a while before hanging up. That's when Bai Yi Yang turn off the gas and the miso soup is done.

She is quite happy looking at her points now, she can at least save a life now. Yesterday, she gained quite a lot of points from selling the dried mushrooms and Matsutake mushrooms.

"Fang Fang, go wake up Xiao Ling and Xiao Mo." Bai Yi Yang said. Looking at the watch, it is already 9.45 am. She guess Bai Yi Ling must be awake by now, Xiao Mo should be easy to wake up too since he have slept for a long time.

Bai Yi Fang answer a loud yes and ran to the Main house as East house respectively. She return while dragging Xiao Mo and Bai Yi Ling who is already refreshed also come after. The 4 siblings finally start having their delicious breakfast.

"Spicy and delicious!" Bai Yi Fang comment. Luckily, the siblings tongue is used to spicy food, there is not much problem when it comes to food.

"You all must learn to eat spicy food, it won't be fun if your friends know how to eat spicy food and you don't." Bai Yi Yang said. Actually she is also not that good at it, a little bit spicy is fine but not the high level spicy.

"Really? I don't think any of my friends can eat spicy food." Bai Yi Mo said. He is talking about Shitou, Xiao Bao and Mu Zi.

"Then, you must tell them that they must learn to eat spicy food too. Don't be a baby." Bai Yi Yang said, laughing.

"Okay. I will teach them, Ah Rui too." Bai Yi Mo said, feeling determined.

"Nuo Nuo can't eat spicy food too. I am better. Then, is Nuo Nuo a baby?" Bai Yi Fang said proudly while giggling when she is talking about Li Su Nuo.

"Who are you calling Nuo Nuo, she is older than you by 2 years." Bai Yi Ling said.

"She said she didn't mind it. She told me to call her Nuo Nuo." Bai Yi Fang said.

"She is still older. Even older than Xiao Mo." Bai Yi Ling said again. She also knows that Bai Yi Fang is a bit closer to the girls who had entered Primary school. She is actually worried at first that they will bully Bai Yi Fang, but then they seems to like Bai Yi Fang a lot. One time, they even stop by Old Zhou house to give Bai Yi Fang some snacks that they bought from Aunt Mu's store.

"En, alright. Then I will ask her again what should I call her." Bai Yi Fang think for a while and decide. Bai Yi Mo is her gege, if Nuo Nuo is older than Bai Yi Mo, then that's mean she is a jiejie.

Bai Yi Yang didn't comment anything, the difference when they are little is clear, but when they grow up, all grown up look alike so 2-3 years difference is nothing. Bai Yi Fang is not a rude kid, so it must be true that Li Su Nuo told her to call her that.

When Bai Yi Chen return, Bai Yi Yang told him the good news that she got Gold in the Mathematics Olympiad. Bai Yi Chen proudly praise her. They chat a bit about it too, about her trip to City Nan tomorrow too.

"I will give you the bank card later." Bai Yi Chen said. Bai Yi Yang also agree, who knows she may need to use money tomorrow. In City Nan, using card is a common thing, unlike here.

"You are heading to City Nan?" Grandma Zhou ask in shock when Bai Yi Yang told him about it when they were sending the kids in the morning.

"Yes, but I should be back in the evening." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Ah, that's good. Your Zhu Yao jiejie will be disappointed if you can't make it." Grandma Zhou said. Zhou Zhu Yao is staying in town for this weekend since this were the rare days that she need to report to her office. It's not exactly in their town but not far.

Today is also her birthday, she said that she will buy some KFC to treat the Bai siblings for dinner. She already reminded them to stay at their house later after school and Bai Yi Yang had agreed to it. If there is nothing else, she should be able to make it back before 5.00 pm.

"I will make it." Bai Yi Yang smile.

After that they leave for school. Bai Yi Yang think for a while and decided to text Zhou Zhu Yao, just in case she return home late. She didn't replied her yet, most probably Zhou Zhu Yao is still sleeping. Bai Yi Yang then talk about it with Zhang Ming Ming and Zhang Ming Ming was looking at him like looking at an alien.

"I can't believe it." Zhang Ming Ming sigh a few times.

"What?" Bai Yi Yang laugh.

"I think my luck has been spent on befriending a genius like you." Zhang Ming Ming said again.

"Nonsense." Bai Yi Yang laugh and ignore her after that. No matter what nonsense Zhang Ming Ming said, she will only laugh.
