Wang Wei and wu meng xi continued to question the people who are close to the victim.

Since its early morning wang wei ordered breakfast for both of them from the café after finishing the initial investigation.

As wu meng xi was munching on her pancakes.wang wei looked at her and asked

Wu Meng xi, what can you say about the victim's life?

She lifted her head and thought for a while before speaking

Senior, I could say that the victim is a good-natured and doesn't have many friends outside her work. Unlike other women her age, she doesn't spend her money on shopping or other luxury products.

She had led a simple life, other than breaking up with her fiancé she hasn't done anything out of character. Even after breaking up with her fiancé she didn't seem to change anything in her life, in short, she was leading an ordinary life.

And when her fiancé also told that she mostly spends her time in her apartment. So basically she doesn't have a social life at all.

As she finished her analysis she saw wang wei deep in thinking after a couple of seconds he nodded in agreement.

While he said this his phone vibrated. wu meng xi finished her breakfast and looked at wang wei he who was frowning seeing the message.

Wu Meng xi couldn't help but ask: senior, what is wrong? He gazed at her and stood up to leave after paying the bill.

As he exited the café he saw wu meng xi trailing him he turned around facing her he asked her car key. She looked at him hesitantly.

He sighed and said that "he didn't bring his car he reached the café in another police officers car".

(Does that mean he did not leave from work last night but he is wearing different clothes?)

Oh….that all she could mutter and took her car key from her jean pocket and handed it to him as they crossed the road he took the driving seat and started driving in the opposite direction of the police station.

Wu Meng xi could see that wang wei is a quiet person who doesn't like to talk much she noticed it yesterday and also today when investigating the workers and victims fiancée and bother he dint ask anything irrelevant and his questions were sharp and precise.

Senior, where are we going? We aren't heading to the station?
