1 First Day

Violent crime unit, Gangbuk district 20XX

Wu Meng xi is 24 years old graduated from the top University in City N regardless of the grade she chose to become a police officer .she passed in flying colors in the civil service examination. Whoever sees her they won't believe she is a detective. She had the looks of models despite her petite frame. dark brown shoulder length hair, almond-shaped eyes, full luscious pink lips, hourglass-shaped body With her looks and masters in business management she could have landed any job she needed but she chose to be a detective.

From her younger age, she has been trained in judo and Chinese martial arts and holds an eighth-degree black belt in judo and expert in chang quan.

Today is her first day at work after the orientation the new recruits will be assigned to their respective partners.

As she entered the building she directly went to the violent crime unit which is located in the first floor

The building also consists of the Narcotics department on the second floor. And the audit bureau.

About only ten people were waiting in the reception unlike the previous years the examination for new recruits was very tough .everyone looked nervous just like her.

The recruits were standing in the front and in the back were few senior detectives who were discussing something. wu meng xi stood in the back of the line.

After about fifteen minutes a man in his 40's walked up to the front and glanced at everyone. The murmurs stopped once seeing the man and everyone in the room were awestruck seeing the man who was supposed to be working in Incheon to be present in Seoul. He is none other than the current chief of police Charlie Chu. His achievements and case solving techniques were taught in the police academy as a part of their curriculum. He is an upright police officer every policemen and woman look up to him. and Wu Meng xi was no better he was her role model.

He is also named as Schindler by the police academy staff. He has the highest closing rate.

Hello everyone.

I am Charlie chu chief of police .i know this years detective examination has been tough. Only twenty percent of the applicants have been passed both the written and training. Today is your first day at work you all have been trained in the police academy and you may have been excelled in the training let me tell you something that you trained in the academy and what you will see in the field are completely different. so keep that in mind and follow your senior's order and guidance.

What you have chosen to do is a mission, a calling, no less, as guardians of the public safety. Do not take the job lightly. it is our job to provide a protect the innocent and bring justice to the victims.

"A Hundred culprits may escape not a single innocent shall be punished".

Think and investigate before concluding. If you have your doubts feel free to express your concern to the seniors.

.after the orientation you will be assigned to your respective teams. Thank you see you around. As chief of police left the room.

A Man in his 40's walked to the front carrying a file. He glanced at all of us and introduced himself as Kim Bolin. he is a senior detective next to the police chief in authority.

He began to read out the names and the detective names. One by one each people left the room with their partner.

As Wu meng xi watched everyone she was very nervous. She prayed that her partner should be someone good. When her name was called she was still in a daze.

She heard someone cleared their throat as she came out of her dazed state senior detective Kim Bolin called her name again and called for her partner. But no one came to the front.

Suddenly the door opened and a man in his 20's entered and apologized by slightly bowing his head for being late. Kim bo-lin waved his hand and introduced Wu meng xi to Wang Wei. she couldn't believe she was assigned to the young detective he looks more or less her age how could he be a lead detective, but she didn't voice out her doubt.

Wang Wei glanced at wu meng xi and didn't says anything and turned around and started walking away leaving dumbfounded Wu meng xi.

She stared blankly at his back. Wu Meng xi couldn't process what was she supposed to do.

Suddenly someone tapped her shoulders she turned around to see Kim Bo-lin.

Don't mind him. He doesn't talk much. you will get used to it .follow him he will show your table and assign you some tasks.

she ran behind Wang Wei. He showed her the table and gave some files to read other than that he didn't speak anything else. Wu Meng xi cursed her luck to get a wood block has her partner. he showed no expression what so over. she tried to initiate talking but all he did was nod or hum in response. She gave up and started reading the previous case files that Wang Wei was working. His case files were on point. He didn't miss any detail, he has added all the investigation report in a detailed manner.she was so immersed in reading the case file that she failed to notice a pair of eyes were watching her from time to time. Wang Wei couldn't tear away his gaze from her. he has a feeling that he had seen her somewhere but he couldn't pinpoint where. Maybe that's all in his imagination so he pushed his thoughts away and started working.

As the day came to an end Wu meng xi was a little disappointed that the day was quite normal like regular office work.

Wang Wei asked her to leave since there is not much work left. she went to the locker room and took her backpack and left the police building and reached her one bedroom apartment which she rented since her college years.

Entering the apartment she slumped into the sofa staring the ceiling. even though she was physically good since it's her first day at work and reading those files from the morning had made her mentally exhausted.she fell asleep soon.
