5 3 : Rabbit hole

"Here's your chocolate. now go inside." Soobin said pushing me towards my apartment door.

"Okay.. Okay.. I'm going."

"You know I have an important seminar tomorrow otherwise you know how much I love having you around me..."

"And don't you have trekking planned for tomorrow morning?" he asked continuing.

"but I thought we were going together!" I exclaimed with expecting eyes.

"I'm sorry sunshine... I really don't have time tomorrow. How about you meet me in the evening at my university? We can go to that new café. Hmm?" he proposed.

"um... okay!" I smiled accepting it.

"Get some sleep now bye!!" he ruffled my hair and turned to go on his floor. He lives below my floor.

"Wait...! Where's my good night hug?" I asked.

He just laughed turning to me and enveloped ne in his embrace. My face stuffed in his chest as his arms went around my head and shoulders.

"You know I always wonder why you are so short?! I can't even hug you properly without lifting you" he laughed teasing me.

"Yah! I'm not short okay? I'm 5.3! You are just too tall for anyone!" I argued with the muffled voice hitting at his sides with my hands around him.

"Yep! Sweet dreams dwarf." He chuckled releasing me

"Sweet dreams giant!" I said showing him my tongue.

He walked in elevator and the door slowly closes as he threw his last smile of the day at me.

I sighed and turned to knock on my door but it opened suddenly making me wobble inside.

"I knew! It was you. Is this any time to come home?!" hoseok yelled.

"Why are you wobbling? Did you drink?!"

"What?! No!"

"Who were here you with? I heard someone." He interrogated.

"Soobin." I answered.

"Jung haesoo, how many times should I tell you? Don't go around with any boys like this!"

"Hobi! Chill... besides he's my best friend okay?" I said rolling my eyes.

"Have you eaten?" he asks.

"No. and are you gonna ask me everything at the door?! Let me in!" I said getting irritated.

"I was about to-"

"Is that pasta I smell? Yoongi's here?!" I pushed hobi aside and barged inside the house.

"Yoongles!!!"

I yelled his name in joy, running towards him.

"Wait! careful... I-" and he catch me as I jumped on him.

"I missed you sooooo much!!!"

My brother Jung hoseok and I live in this apartment in Seoul. Our parents' lives in Gwangju. My college and hobi's work is here so we both live together. Hobi is choreographer at jinhit entertainment and Yoongi also work as producer at there. Min Yoongi is hobi's mate.

And I fucking love him! He's way better than my always nagging brother. He's good at everything unlike my brother. Especially he can cook!

"Call him oppa! He's older than you!" hoseok nagged.

"You got new haircut!" I exclaimed checking him out after hug.

"Yep. How's it squirrel?" he asked me showing his gummy smile.

"Good enough to kill hobi oppa" I giggled and he laughed.

"Planning to kill me kiddo?" hobi asked locking me with his one arm.

"Ugh... don't call me that! And go away!"

"Oh.. Why?" he asked hugging me tightly. "Then why'd you hugged my Yoongi? I have full right to hug you."

"Ugh... hug your Yoongi then! Not me!" I whined.

He just chuckled removing his one arm and kept me at his side loosely draping his other arm on my shoulder.

"Sometimes I feel like I'm mom of you two..." Yoongi sighed.

"Yoongles! I'm not talking with you." I huffed leaning on hobi folding my arms on my chest.

"Aww... why my squirrel?"

"Huh. I thought I was your squirrel..." hobi mumbled in between.

"Cuz you forgot about me! And didn't came home for a month!" I complained.

"I'm sorry... I had work."

"But not anymore! I made him take vacation for 5 days! So.. He's staying over!!" hobi announced.

"Wow! Really?"

"yes." Yoongi nodded in agreement. "Tell me if you wanna go anywhere... we can go there" he continued.

"Yey! Then we are going for trekking tomorrow! Now let's eat. I'm hungry!"

It was 4 am in the morning and I was ready with everything. Climbing mountains is my hobby. I just love the nature especially from the height. That's why our apartment is also on the highest floor of the building. All bags were set at the door waiting for us to pick them up. After doing a last check, I walked towards the love birds' room to see if they were ready. And as usual they were not.

"I knew it knocking on the door won't wake them up..." I sighed and decided to barge in their room.

"Yah! Both of you wake up!"

"Haesoo! Knock first!" hobi yelled covering yoongi's bare chest with blanket. I knocked on the door and said "oops! Now get ready in 10! Both of you!" I left their room after ordering them.

Like I didn't know what they were doing all night.

Seriously! Playing those weird card dare games all night? What are they 14?!

"Wow! Look at all that beauty..." I complimented.

"It's really beautiful" hobi mused.

"Isn't it worthy waking up early yoongles?" I asked.

"Yeah... yeah... let's start going up now."

After a long drive in hobi's car. We finally reached the mountains. Because of less traffic it only took us hour.

"Remind me how old both of you are?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Shut up." Hobi said.

"Then why are you climbing like oldies? Climb faster!" I said stopping at the point higher than them. "Stop clicking photos at every 5 meter hobi!!!" I yelled.

"Yah! Go first if you are that irritated." He huffed and signed Yoongi to continue taking pictures of his.

"Fine!" I agreed and started to climb further.

"Be careful! Don't get hurt!" I heard Yoongi yelling behind me.

"Yeah! Meet you at the top!" I yelled back.

I pretty much climbed more than half of the mountain and surprisingly no one was here. Last time I was here. It was like 50 or something people climbing around. Maybe cause it rained at morning? Anyways it's calmer than that day.

I climbed little more and sat on the rock beside the path to drink some water. Insects were singing, birds were chirping as cold breeze hit my face with forest aroma, cooling down my heated body.

"Ah..." I moaned in delight closing my eyes.

Suddenly I heard a loud flap of wings and felt like something big flew over me. I opened my eyes instantly but there was nothing.

"Whoa... almost felt like a dragon flew over me... ha-ha!" I laughed at my ridiculous statement.

and in the spur of moment, I heard a melody; I looked around to see from where it was coming. Unknowingly my feet started to take me in the forest. That melody was something different... it was like I knew it, but at the same time I did not. I had no control over my feet as it started to take me deeper in the forest like they were possessed. I came to a dead end and that melody stopped.

I observed around just to figure out I was lost. Deciding to call my brother I pulled my phone out of my bag.

"Of course! Why would they have network here?!" I sighed.

"Maybe they thought... oh! When someone will get lost they can telepathy their mate and voilà! Their mate would save them! Wow!! What a romantic drama!" I said faking joy. Walking through the bushes in irritation.

"No one is letting me have a peaceful trek-

Whoaaaaaaa!!!!!!!" I lose my balance on slippery mud tumbling down the rabbit hole.

Falling in the deep as the darkness filled-in.
