Chapter 137 - Contract Done

Seeing the four pointed gold star on Sirin's forehead and the golden halo. Adam knew he might accidentally offended the Herrscher of The End.

"Fuck. If only the mission is killing her instead of saving her. How does it expect me to save someone that can actually kill me if I'm not careful?" Adam cursed as he now took the fight very seriously and stopped holding back.

Using Sonido, Adam instantly appeared in front of the possessed Sirin and swung his fist infused with Haki that which at first phased through her body but when his Armament Haki flared up as a blazing black flame surrounding his arm, he forced her body to turn tangible and twist his fist, dealing a nasty punch that hit her squarely at her stomach, not feeling sorry at all for it when she is trying to kill him. His punch sent her flying as she quickly gained control of her flight and glared at him.

Dozens and hundreds of black portal suddenly appeared and shot out Subspace Lance aimed to turn him into swiss cheese but Adam immediately summoned his pistol into his hand and pulled the trigger which caused the cannons floating above to unleash a barrage of beams that automatically target the Subspace Lance and shoot them down.

Then Adam drop the pistol which immediately dissolved into Reishi particles and summon his pitch black Zanpakuto instead and slashed apart the incoming white hands and then used Sonido to instantly appeared in front of Finality and stab Sirin's body to erase Finality's influence but suddenly a bunch of portal opened and surround him like a sphere and rapidly shot hundreds of smaller Subspace Lance like bullets but he escaped easily using Sonido.

While Adam wanted to take the risk and devour her influence away from Sirin to end everything fast, a quick warning from his Future Sight stopped him from doing it. Instead, Adam summoned his good ol' reliable Kyoka Suigetsu and put Finality under its influence.

Normally, Kyoka Suigetsu had a hard time to influence targets stronger than Adam because to do so, it uses Adam's willpower to put it's target under Hypnosis. But, since the Finality in Sirin is just a fragment of her true consciousness, hypnotizing is still possible without her realizing it.

The reason for this is because Finality is actually Omnipotent as the Herrscher of Finality but not Omnipresent. So, as long as he can make her think there's no need to involve her true self, he could win or else she would because she can literally just reverse time to change the outcome among her many broken abilities

All he needs to do now is convince Sirin to give up being Herrscher and follow him to complete his mission and he can get the fuck off this universe and then Finality will no longer be an issue because she cannot follow him or Sirin outside of the Imaginary Tree which is outside of Honkai's sphere of influence.

But that is easier done than said when the Pufferfish is quite the stubborn one and wouldn't trust an adult. Which means diplomacy is out of the question. That's why he had been beating her from the start, trying to make her submit instead and give up once she learned that continuing fighting is useless but Finality just had to mess up his plan although now that he defeated Sirin's God, it might actually help him big time.

Sirin opened her eyes when she felt her mind regaining clarity.

"What happened… I remember it was dark and scary when he locked me up in a prison… then God said she would help me…" Sirin recalled her memories and immediately tried to stand up feeling her body hurt all over and stinging.

Then she remembers she was in battle and the weird guy is beating her despite the power up she obtained. Sirin immediately opened her eyes wide and saw the white figure that she remembered being the God when she met her.

The being she worshiped as God was actually defeated? She looks at the white figure that resembles her since it mimics her body. It was being crucified by a cross made of a blue energy and littered with injuries.

Sirin looks at it in disbelief that the existence she sees as stronger than herself was defeated and now hanged helplessly and broken on the crucifixion.

Then what about her? If the guy can defeat God that easily. What about her? Can she defeat him? She is scared. She felt powerless. She felt helpless. She wanted to run. To escape from the moon. Away from the scary adult.

"I must le—Hiiie!" She felt her body turn stiff and her blood chill when a black blade suddenly slid next to her neck and she could feel the cold razor edge digging on her skin with blood lighty seeping out from her cutted skin.

"Where do you think you are going? I don't recall giving you permission to leave. The Second Herrscher. Or should I call you Sirin instead?" A bone chilling tone whispered from her back which made her skin crawl, thinking how a casual move can make her head roll on the ground.

The long ingrained trauma and PTSD start to flare up again as her image of invincibility starts to crumble into dust. She fell to the ground crying and sobbing about life being unfair and how she only wanted to be free and return to her old life with her family and wanted to avenge her wronged family and friends.

But all of it fell to a deaf ear as her soon to be executioner said he didn't care and only wanted an answer to his question.

"Will you surrender and follow me obediently or be killed here and now." Adam asked, readied the copied Fenghuang Down to wipe her memories and restart the process if needed.

"I surrender! I surrender! Please don't hurt me anymore!" She cried when Adam pushed his blade harder on her neck.

Seeing how she surrendered, Adam sighed. Grateful it's easy to convince her since she is just a child. Or was it?

Sirin grinned when Adam suddenly dropped his guard and relaxed. Sirin immediately summons a lance and launches it point blank on Adam. But instead of blood pouring out, his body simply shatters like a piece of porcelain.

"You leave me with no choice, Sirin. I wouldn't want to resort to this method either." Adam suddenly appeared behind Sirin with his hand placed on her head before channeling his willpower.

Since even after trying to break her morale and crushing her fighting spirit, she remains defiant. He knew that trying to convince her with words and torture wouldn't ever work.

Adam had only one other option left. One that he actually didn't want to resort to due to its implications and side effects.

Channeling his vast willpower, Adam projected his Spiritual Avatar into her mind and subjugated her rather easily because unlike him, she was never trained or wielded her willpower and is just a child throwing a destructive tantrum. It's not a surprise how easily it is to subjugate her mind.

He could go one step further as Aizen's will suggested, to implant false memories inside Sirin's mind and make her think Adam is someone close and she could trust and she should obey. But he shut Aizen's voice down instead and ignored him.

Adam turns to Angie and Bella who are still fighting fiercely but it looks like both of them are equally matched.

Adam approached them and Bella immediately saw the state of Sirin who was being carried like a sack of potatoes by Adam.

"Unhand My Queen immediately!" Bella roared and launched a claw slash at him but he casually caught her arm and dangled her in the air while staring at her.

"If you want to follow your Queen. Be obedient or I will kill you. Do you understand?" He intimidates her using Conqueror Haki which surprisingly worked and was very effective against beasts like her.

The intimidated Bella nodded her head rapidly and became obedient like a kitten in her momma's mouth while Adam carried her to the TSF open palms. He dropped her down and also Sirin before ordering Bella to hold Sirin properly before he suddenly stabbed Sirin with his Zanpakuto blade. Before Bella could even shout in a panic, Adam forcefully removed Finality from Sirin.

"Devour!" He orders before his Zanpakuto under his careful control, eats away anything related to Finality inside Sirin.

Then, without even wasting any moment. Adam submits his mission and initiates his return with these two girls on tow because he is supposed to be 'saving' her. Leaving her behind means she will get used by Honkai and Otto to death. So, he might as well bring her along to spare her from her suffering and put a wrench into the Honkai's plan.

The golden four pointed stars and halo appeared in the sky of the moon along with a figure that quickly became more apparent.

Adam flips it a middle finger before his vision is consumed by blue light as the teleportation has taken its effect.

Returning to the familiar scenery that is his Orbital Fortress. Adam sighed deeply and dismissed all his power. He had no fear of Bella suddenly attacking him because she should already know the difference of their power. Even in his 'vulnerable' state. He is as strong as when he wears his armor.

His return is immediately greeted by a lot of people. But he first ordered Sirin to be brought to the infirmary. He isn't worried about her without supervision because he sealed her Herrscher Core and Gems. Making her unable to use her Herrscher powers.

Bella wants to spend time beside her Queen and Adam allows it and sends them off before people piled up on him one after another, metaphorically speaking. Especially Tina who felt her position might be threatened but he reassured her he had no intention of taking away her privilege of being his only sister.
