19 Chapter 19

A quick rat on the door disturbs me from my rest, as usual.

Swinging my legs round I stumble from the bed quickly pulling on the spare clothes dumped in my room.

The jeggings are'nt too bad as they are a deep blue but the top is nasty.

The top is black with red roses littered all over it and looks like something a middle aged woman would wear. I sigh but I have nothing else so quickly get over it.

The rusty handle is cold in my hand as I yank the door ajar already agitated.

Low and behold Will stands before me a cigarette hanging from his lip as he leans on the frame.

'Forget about today?' Will rolls his eyes.

Today?...

Shit I was meant to meet Will and try some 'art'.

I raise my hand to brush my hair from eyes but wince as I forget the injuries I sustained from last nights bust up with Laith.

'Sorry Will...a lot happened. Give me five.'

Will shrugs but says 'sure'.

Closing the door I rush to splash water on my face and drag some comb through my hair.

I look like something just exploded in my face. My purple curls are no longer curls just frizz ugh Jesus Christ.

A quick braid will have to do so with much difficulty and annoyance my purple locks are tamed in some wonky back braid. Then a go over of my teeth with some worn out tooth brush is all I can do to improve my appearance.

Bruises grace my face that are disgusting green colour and puncture wounds litter my body from Laiths claws and pretty sure splinters are everywhere too. Next time i choose to fight someone it will be without furniture surrounding us because Christ they dont half irritate me.

Another rat on the door echoes around the room and I hurry to it.

Will still leaning on the side gestures with his head to follow him so i abide curious if he will ask about Laith at all.

But he doenst the entire walk down to the third floor he says nothing...how weird.

We make it to the third floor to see the aftermath of my altercation with Laith.

Laith's office door is snapped in half barely on the hinges and chairs are littered around broken. Papers are spewed everywhere and finally Laiths desk is bent in the centre but that isnt what alerts me its the dried red liquid everywhere. Blood. Whose I dont know maybe both me and Laith's however its enough to put doubt in my mind that my actions were called for.

Shaking my head I follow Will into the Art room in complete silence...the tension is thick.

Will sits down in a mismatched chair and reveals clay from where ever he was stashing it. He gestures to me to sit opposite so I do. He hands me a fair chunk of clay and then proceeds to mould his own with no words spoken. So I proceed to poke mine having no idea what we are supposed to be doing.

'Visual something you want to make then make your hands do it.' Will doesnt look up from his clay as he speaks he is entranced. I forgot Will's powers to read the mind briefly so of course he would know of my struggle.

I do as he says and try to visualise but all I can think of are animals...how cliche. But I go with it and mould to my hearts content. The clay feels cool in my hand and has a funny wet texture I kinda like its soothing my sore hands from yesterdays festivities.

In no time at all the clay begins to take shape into a wolf with broad shoulders and a snout pointing upwards as if mid howl as if on instinct I use my nails to make the texture of fur. In no time my wolf is completed apart from the eyes but I have no clue how to make them, in my head I see them but I cant make them.

'You see it but cant make it correct?' Will meets my eyes. I nod abruptly.

Will leans forward and takes the wolf in his hands then begins moulding the eyes within seconds he hands it back. The eyes are exactly as I envisioned them. I am stunned how did he do that?

Will places his clay in front of me and its of a man and woman. His parents.

Will takes a deep sigh and leans back clearly uncomfortable.

'Erza. Its always easier to think something than make it. Its always easier to have ideals than live by them. Its always easier to judge than understand. But more than anything its easier to want then get. That's because when you want something its not a reality, so it can change but when you get then its there thats final. Do you understand what I am saying Erza?'

In reality I did understand what he was saying all too clearly. He is warning me in his own way about my actions, thoughts and consequences. My friends. Laith. Layla. Varian. What I do affects everyone else.

Will just observes before continuing.

'Erza your not a lone wolf anymore. You have a pack now just like the one you had before. But you cant run from this one. Don't get me wrong I know your no omega in this situation...I know full well if you wished it you could kill me and escape. However there is one thing you have to understand now, if you want to be treated like the Alpha you are then you have to act like it.'

I gulp...this is the first time I have felt well and truly reprimanded beyond belief.

Will eyes are slits now as he stands showing me he is deadly serious.

'No more attacking people in fury. No more running away. Its time you chose Erza what are you? What is your role now?'

Will goes to the door and turns back.

'Its time to choose your side now. Are you the lone wolf or the alpha?'

Will leaves, leaving me sitting at the table in disbelief.
