36 Giving birth

Layla is washing the dishes when she suddenly felt something wet between her legs. She bend down slightly and touch her inner thighs. Her water broke! Alarm bells started ringing in her head. Although she read about it before when the real thing is happening she's still caught off guard. After all it's her first pregnancy no matter how much you read and see the description the real thing is really different. Fortunately her phone is just on the table near the sink. She reach down and immediately dialed Lei Jing's phone number. "Lei help me! I think my water broke. I need to go to the hospital."

Thankfully the ambulance is fast enough to arrive in time. And they're pretty secretive too it didn't caught attention even after driving this fast. She's pretty sure that this one is Hiro Tan's ambulance, being a Clan Head really has it's perks. Her contractions began to feel more painful as they arrive at the hospital. She immediately got on to emergency room. When the doctors check her condition they become pale.

It seems like there's a problem with the babies delivery.

"The labor will be a difficult one, it seems that the patient had a serious injury before and the only thing that stops her from dying is one of her ability. But that ability will be gone once she gave birth. Immortality is one of the rarest ability one can awaken because only one person alive in the whole world can have it. Once the immortal died only then can others try to manifest it but since they're immortal they can't die, only when the bearer willingly pass it to another, can another immortal appear. In the patient's case her children inherited it and she approved the transfer willingly."

"There is a ninety five percent that the mother will not survive if we safely delivered the children but if we chose to save the mother then the babies will die."

The doctors even let Lei sign an agreement and let her decide who to save. She instantly chose Layla because for her no matter what she have to save Layla.

But as a mother Layla refuses to let her baby die for her sake." No my babies will live, If I don't make it please take them to their father and relay my letter. Please hide and protect my babies, I'm counting on you." Layla smiled as the door to the operating room closed.
