11 Chapter 9: Operation... Start!
Right at the border of the Forest near the rocky plains... If one looked more closely, they could barely see a Black silhouette that closely resembles a feline predator from earth.
It simply laid down on the floor, sometimes swinging It's two small ears that looked Just like the ones from a Rhino, with the Hopes that It Will get rid of the annoying bugs that were buzzing around It.
It's Black skin that Didn't have any fur, feathers or even scales, was reflecting the few rays of sunlight that ocasionally escaped from the Green leave's catch.
Althrough one can't clearly see the form of this beast, by watching It's gestures and judging It's current demeanor, one Will Probaly think that it's sleeping. But, they couldn't be more wrong...
Even though It looks like It's resting, a pair of frightful yellow eyes were constantly searching for prey and potential predators. It's powerful limbs were also ready to Sprint!
This black beast clearly knows How to use It's Black coloured skin to hide itself, and by seeing It's posture, you can see that this beast knows what It is doing.
But Right now, the beast's yellow eyes finally stoped at a silhouete, only to quickly look away... like It Lost they interest.
Hiding in some bushes, there was a figure that couldn't be easily seen through these plants. It was calmly looking at the Black beast's face, with an uncertain gaze that quickly switched to an excited one...
Althrough that thing failed to notice that beast has already sensed It's presence through It's hideout... It stared at the Black beast for some time until It finally decided to walk away.
And the Black Beast? Even though It had easily sensed the other creature's presence, It simply didn't even bother to Care. That thing was small and didn't look that dangerous, at least for the Black Beast It wasn't dangerous. Also, the Black Beast doesn't like to eat invertebrates...
That creature that got easily found out by The Black Beast finally revealed It's form when It returned to the Rocky plains. The sunlight bathed in It's white exoskeleton, clearing the shadows that were blocking the beautiful yet strange cyan markings that further increased that being's Charm. It's two mantis arms were put closer on It's torax while they were sometimes rubbing themselves on each other.
After walking out of the Forest, the creature swinged It's two antennae while Using It's six eyes to look at something. Until they finally stoped at the figure of that Alien beetle that had almost killed it. It was resting on the ground while flavouring It's New found prey, some yellow blood were leaking out of It's Head while some parts of the unfortunate bug were scattered around the place.
While staring at It, the creature narrowed it's six eyes that were playfully looking at the Beetle's body, like that giant predator was already dead in It's eyes. If that thing had a more developed mounth, It would be smiling with an evil and cunning grin...

I already had found the opponent for the alien beetle. And I'm certain that It failed to notice me. Now all that I need to do is putting them to kill each other!
I'm filled with expectations and mostly Desire to consume their flesh plus drinking their blood!
I must acquire their biomass!

Hm... Okay, I admit. There is definitelly something wrong with my mind... I'm certain that I normally wouldn't be thinking like this... Consume flesh? Acquire Biomass? It surely must be about my reincarnation!
And... Even with my curiousity and doubts... How Am I supposed to comprehend It? There isn't a system or a talking Voice inside my Head to give me instructions. I'm completely on my own!

I am indeed curious but I think that focusing on the plan Right now is the better ideia. Losing my time with an useless Q&A isn't the most suitable option.
Taking deep breaths with my skin... I decided that it's finally time to start the operation!
And what is the operation's purpose? Make those two predators fight each other to Death! And later I Will consume the meat from the fallen one.
Well. I should start by luring one of them to the other, but... I doubt that I can escape that tongue, and I feel that luring that Black life-form is also a bad ideia.
Hmm... Even if It sounds crazier and Probaly more dangerous, luring the Black Beast seems to be the best choice. Although I am confident in hiding from the beetle, It Will be Another story If that thing discovers me. Just the capability to fly is already a problem, but that tongue is the most worriesome one. It is faster than me and If I get caught, them I'm basically dead. Game over...
So, I Will obviously stick with the Black Beast. at least It seems that I still have a chance of survival If I lure It. The creature is pratically at the border of the Forest, so I Just need to distract It with something Just for a little bit of time.
As I quietly walk towards that Forest with the plan in my Head, I also take one more look filled with scorn at the alien, until I took It away when I entered the forest. Basically, I Will hit It with something from afar and run towards the beetle... Heh, I know that luring the Monster while being literally at his front is basically suicide, So distracting It from afar seems to be most suitable plan.
Using my Antennae, I finally managed to find the Black Beast. It was still laying down in the same place as before...
Gulp!
With all my sincerity. I'm actually nervous, since Just one mistake will result with my Death. I used my antennae to find objects to throw at the beast, but when I finally found the suitable one, I finally remembered the biggest problem. I can't throw things Using these mantis- arms!
Shit! Then this means that I need to give up? Just when I finally managed to prepare everything??!
Grrrr... You know what, I Will persirst! I can still use my New acquired tongue, hopefully It Will work.
As I cautionsly approach the Black beast. It seemed to notice my presence but It decided to ignore it again. It made me unconfortable, but It created the chance that I needed!
When I reached the desired place, I positioned myself and prepared my tongue. The Black Beast simply stood still...
WOOOOSH
I launched my tongue! Although It isn't strong as the Beetle's, at least It Will do something!
When I was preparing to retract my tongue and run, It finally reached It's target, The Black Beast! But the desired outcome simply didn't happen, my tongue only glued itself at the beast's skin, making me feel the texture... It felt like touching a shark...
The Black Beast completely ignored my tongue and my useless atempt to drawn it's attention...
My tongue got retracted while I simply stared at the Beast... Seeing that care-free expression, Sensing that feeling of opression, that powerleness, that disdain...
It made my blood boil with pure wrath.
My body start to slightly tremble, while I felt something deep inside wake up, bit by bit... My body was completed absorved in this odd sensation.
My mind was completely devoid of rational thoughts. Only the desire to consume and improve were channeling through my entire nervous system.
If...
If I was stronger...
If I was better... Would I need to waste time with this?
Would I risk my life only to get a couple of bits?
Would I be disdained like this... By mere ANIMALS??!

My eyes open wide, as the ammount of air breathing in and out of body is quickly increasing. My entire body was feeling pain, especially my whole Head. It felt like all of my cells were having a change deep inside their molecules...
My blood was moving at a speed that made my entire blood-vessels feel like they were being cooked. Steam could be seen seeping out of my mounth, while I felt a sudden disappearence of something inside my abdomen, filling me with a sense of weakness... My energy was quickly being depleted, while I felt a warm liquid run through my blood vessels towards my mounth
Sharp pain assaults my tongue, while Green blood was leaking out of my mounth, falling into the ground...
The Black Beast was staring at this scene with curiousity. It literally didn't do nothing except watching it.
And then... When All of that strange liquid aglomerated itself in my tongue... I felt pain and a Tingling sensation on it...
When the pain finally stoped, I felt that something changed within me... I quickly sticked out my tongue... Only to be caught by Surprise...
There was Green blood drops around it, with some of them even falling out. But what really made me surprised and absent-minded was what I saw next.
My tongue now had a really Sharp tip, and It had some pointed barbs around it. My tongue looked like a harpoon!
...Evolution Complete...
That Voice again...
I felt myself smiling in my mind. My instincts were simply there, telling me How can I use this New acquired weapon... I don't even know If they existed before, but Right now I don't Care...
I lifted my Head in order to look at the beast, and quickly choosed my target... And while the Beast was also staring at me too...
I shoot my harpoon tongue towards the Black beast's Right eye. Before it could've reacted, my tongue pierced It's eye and I quickly retracted my tongue...
The barbs glued themselves on the animal's eye, and with my retraction, It Ripped the entire eye of It's body... Red blood was constantly escaping through the injury.
But I didn't even look at It. All I could Focus was at the bloody yellow eyeball that was getting near.
Without thinking twice, I quickly gooble the entire thing up. But before I could celebrate, I heard a Roar Full of Pain and wrath that made my scalp go numb.
All of my instincts were screaming at me...
RUN!!
