Shaken Up

Andrea tried her straw again. The thick shake still resisted her efforts to drink it. Instead, she picked up her spoon and looked at Kyle's shake.

"Alright, let me have a bite of your sugar explosion."

"Are you sure you want to risk it?" Kyle asked, holding his cup over for her to take a scoop.

"It'll do less damage if we share," Andrea said. She'd expected Kyle's shake to be too indulgent for more than a single bite, but the combination of toppings and additions just blended into an overall chocolatey flavor. What they really did, was give each bite an interesting texture.

"That's actually really good," she admitted, going in for another scoop. "Even the regular shakes are hard to drink through a straw, but this would be just about impossible, even once it's melted."

"I like spoons," said Kyle. "Means you can make one shake fun for two."
