1 Chapter 1:My life Now

The rain pounds on the roof of my one room apartment building. I look in my fridge and see a few boxes of left overs. Looking over to the window I see the rain starts to calm down so I grab my umbrella and head out. After walking for five minutes I come across a CVS and decided I didn't want to go all the way to Walmart for a few groceries. While in the store I grab the essentials for living alone. On my way back the rain picked up again and it was raining even harder than before.

Suddenly a car came rushing down a side street and went over a puddle right next to me. It was a black limo and you couldn't see through the tinted windows but you could tell there was a mans figure in the back. I put my middle finger up and cursed at them as they drove away. You could see the figure turn his head and watch me as they left.

The now soaking wet me had to walk back to my apartment. Finally reaching my floor of the apartment I turned my door knob and walked in. I flopped onto my ten year old couch and wished I had chosen better choices in life.
