Fork Discovered in an Abandoned House

A farmer lived in Zimba southern Part of Zambia 700km away from the Capital City Lusaka, Abbie Kookamb was his name. He was a boer that originated from South Africa, He was one of the early settlers in the southern Zambia.

He came to Zambia in the Early 60s which later went back to south Africa got married and came to Zambia on his farm in southern Part in Zimba district. Together they raised 2 handsome boys and a beautiful Girl.

The indeginous people, the Tongas of now Zimba district woke up to what they could say to be the most abominable thing. The villagers that lived around the farm that happened to be the farmer's workers, Reported for farm duties and only to discover the whole Kookamb family died in one night.

This pazzeld Chief Namadula of the of Namadula village were the farmer had Settled. The Chief mourned saying " Leza wakujulu mwakatipa mukuya oyu na wakafwa twapenga suunu amuti gwasye" translation- "Oh God of heaven you gave us this white man to help us in this village now he is gone we are back in Deep poverty please God Send us help from heaven".

The Chief and the village headmen sat down to critically look at the possible source of death. They Noticed that the bodies of the Kookamb family had the marks of a dinner fork on their throats. Which made them conclude that someone might have attacked them at night with a Dinner Fork.
