3 Chapter 2

Bens POV

"Ben". She calls at me, a huge grinning smile on her face. Knowing I was dying, I stared at her for a second taking in her true beauty in her eyes. All the years of pain and suffering inside them.

She places her hand onto my face and stokes it with affection. And at that moment I realised that she was everything.

Rey's POV

I caressed his cheek gently, unaware of his fading life force. I look into his brown pools of love staring at me. And I lower my lips to his. We kiss for what it seems like a lifetime. We finally break the kiss and he surprisingly smiles, for the first time in years.

Unexpectedly his face, turning pale. His lips becoming blue. He falls to the ground and he disappears to become one with the force.

My sobs echoing around the room. After a while, the room begins shaking. 'The planet is collapsing' I say to myself. As fast as my feet could take me I picked up his shirt that was lying helplessly on the floor.

As the ground shakes more frantic I make my way back to Luke's x-wing. The ground had begun sinking in places. I knew I had to get out of here and quickly.

I jump into the x-wing and begin starting it up, ben's shirt on my lap. I glance over at the tie fighter he arrived in. Knowing that he would never leave in it. I let a small tear slip from my eye in grief. But I immediately tell myself  'now is not the time Rey'. I set course for Ajan Kloss to find Finn and Poe.

As soon as the ship was airborne, A voice came into my head was not alarmed, as it was a familiar presence. "I will always be with you". Ben, I say to myself.

"No ones ever really gone" I reply with hints of sadness in my voice.
