2 Chapter 1

Rey's POV

My knees give in and I begin to fall to the ground. Every inch of me submerged in pain and exhaustion. Death now consuming me. But the only thing I can think of is Ben.

"Ben" I call out. I can feel his force signature near. He survived. I smile knowing that he survived the fall. All of a sudden death begins to catch up with me My eyes being to come heavy, my breath coming to a steady halt.

Ben's POV

Rey. That's all I can think of. I can feel her force signature near, But it's fading. I managed the climb to the surface, despite a possible broken rib. I haul myself up onto the dusty, stone, treacherous floor.

And there she lay. Dead still. Her force signature now disappeared. A tear slips from my eye. I can't live without her.

I regain all my strength back and pull myself towards her, clutching my side. I could barely stand as the pain was too much. But that didn't matter now, Rey needed me. I lift up her corpse, her lifeless body in my arms. I let another tear roll down my cheek in sorrow. My heartbreaking at the sight. There's a wound on the side of her face from the fight. And scratches on her skin, probably form Jakuu.

Then I remember something, A force power that I have never tried. I hesitate for a second but I close my eyes and feel the Force flowing through me. I place my hand on her lower abdomen making sure not to harm her. I then selflessly transfer every part of my life force into her. The colour coming back into her face as her body beings to warm.like a tree coming back to life.

Nothing happens for a while. I panic with anxiety thinking I have cause more harm. Unexpectedly, her eyes being to flutter open. she begins to sit up cautiously. She smiles at me taking in the surroundings. And that's when I hear her say my name.

"Ben".
