8 Episode 5 - Bites
Previously: Heading to Atlanta, Rick retrieved the duffle bag that he dropped in the city, but the city was empty of walkers. At the camp, the walkers from the city arrived at the camp, which killed Ed and Jim, and bit Amy. Walkers were surrounding Shane and everyone else.

Shane and Dale stand shooting walkers, and T-Dog wacks walkers in the head with his crowbar. Shane blow a hole into the head of a walker and as the walker falls to the floor, Rick appears in front of Shane, and he throws the bag of guns over to the group. Lori, Donna, Miranda, and Jacqui grab guns out of the duffel bag. Morales smacks a walker in the head with his barbed-wire bat. Glenn shoots a walker in the head. Allen kicks a walker in its shin and he shoots it in the head. Shane aims his shotgun at the final walker and he shoots it. Rick looks at Lori in tears and they both hug "I'm here" Lori goes "Jim...he's...he's...and Amy-" Rick looks at her "it's okay".
Inside the RV, Andrea looks in tears at Amy's who bleeding everywhere. Amy looks at Andrea in tears, as she lays on the floor dying. Amy puts her hand onto Andrea's cheek "I love you" Andrea stares at her in tears, Amy's eyes then close and Andrea holds onto Amy's lifeless body in tears.
Inside Carol's tent, she stares at Ed's body on the ground being eaten by a walker. The walker then looks up and it growls at Carol. Sophia goes "mom?" Carol looks around for a weapon. The walker grabs Carol and she screams "NO!". Morales then runs in and smacks the walker in the head. Carol looks at Morales and she looks at his bat "can I borrow it?" Morales goes "what for?" Carol stares at him "Ed's gonna turn" Morales nods at her and he hands her his bat. Carol looks at Ed's half-eaten body and she swings the bat onto Ed's head and continues to bash his head.
The sun begins to shine onto the camp, which is covered in blood and bodies of the dead. Jacqui is searching the bodies, moving them and looking at all the bodies. Lori sits with Carl hugging him. Rick and Shane both look over at Jacqui. Shane goes "Jacqui? What are you doing?" Jacqui looks at Shane "Jim, he's here somewhere, he has to be" Shane stares at her "Jacqui, he's gone".
Inside the RV, Andrea is still holding Amy's body. Dale kneels beside her and he goes "good hearts, they go to good places, good hearts, they get remembered, Amy was both of those things, she was one of the sweetest people I knew. But...Andrea, she's going to turn, I don't want you to see her like that" Andrea continues to stare at Amy, and she doesn't react to Dale's speech.
Outside, Jacqui walks over to everyone and he goes "we need to dig some graves, for the people we've lost" Shane looks at Rick. Rick goes "Dale told me, that Jim dug up some graves, we'll bury them there" Jacqui slightly smiles at Rick. Rick looks at Lori "talk to Andrea, please?".
Miranda stands near a car with Louis and Eliza. Morales walks over to his family, Miranda whispers into Morales' ear "I think you're right, about what you said last week" Morales looks at her "I'll tell the others after we've buried our friends" Miranda kisses Morales' cheek "okay".
Inside the RV, Lori walks inside and she kneels beside her "hey Andrea" Andrea blinks and a tear falls from her eye. Andrea goes "she was always the...the...the nice one, why I'm here and she's not, well...it'll-" Andrea burst into tears. Lori hugs Andrea "Andrea, do not blame yourself for anything, but please, you do not want to see her as one of those things, and she is going to turn" Andrea looks at Lori and she then looks back at Amy, who's fingers are starting to twitch. Andrea stares in shock "Amy?" Amy's eyes open, and her eyes are cloudy. Lori goes "Andrea?" Andrea goes "I'm sorry for everything Amy, I'm sorry I couldn't protect you, I'm sorry that, we never got to find mom and dad together, but I love you, and I will always love you" Amy sits up and she starts to growl. Andrea pulls out her handgun and she goes "goodbye Amy, sleep well". Andrea puts her finger on the trigger and shoots Amy in the head. Lori looks down to the floor upset.
Everyone stands around three graves made for Ed, Jim, and Amy. Andrea places a flower onto Amy's grave. Dale goes "Andrea?" Andrea walks off on her own back towards the camp. Rick goes "we all need to talk, everyone gather up at the camp" Glenn looks at Rick, Shane looks nervous.
Everyone stands around the RV, Rick goes "what happened here last night, could not have been prevented-" Shane goes "that's bullshit" Rick stares at Shane "it's couldn't have, the walkers are moving because the cities are empty, there's no food, which means even small towns, villages, camps, they're all in danger" Shane goes "had we had more people here, maybe Amy would be alive" Andrea looks at Shane. Rick glares at him "THE GUNS SAVED THIS CAMP SHANE!".
Stood around the RV, Rick continues "we can't stay here forever, our best chance is to head to the CDC, it's the only place that could have information about what the hell is going on here" Shane goes "going on? Rick, it is the end of the fucking world! What happened here, happened for a reason, the people who died, they were weak!" Andrea glares at him "SHUT THE FUCK UP! WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU WHEN WE WERE TRAPPED IN ATLANTA, YOU WERE HERE SCREWING LO-" Andrea looks at Lori and Andrea shakes her head and runs off. Rick looks up at Lori. Lori sighs "you want us to leave? Go on the road to a place that might be overrun?" Rick goes "it's the only option" Shane shakes his head "no it's not, we can stay" Rick goes "if we stay, we die" Glenn nods "Rick's right, we have to go" Shane scoffs "whatever man" Shane walks off.
Everyone begins to pack up the camp, as Carol and Sophia walk over to their tent, Carol looks at all the blood inside. Carol goes "Sophia, just go grab the stuff you want outta the tent, we're gonna leave it here, let it rot" Sophia nods "okay mom" Carol smiles at her "be quick sweetie".
Rick sees Morales walking over to him with Miranda, Louis, and Eliza. Morales goes "I get why you're going there, but I gotta keep my family safe, we wanna go find our family, we have some in Birmingham" Lori walks over to them and she goes "are you sure? We're safer together" Miranda hugs Lori "we have too". Rick looks at Morales and he shakes his hand "good luck". Glenn walks over holding Morales' barbed-wire bat. Glenn hands Morales' his bat "be safe out there" Morales smiles and he holds his bat "you too, say goodbye to everyone else for me? I hate goodbyes". Rick, Glenn, Carl, and Lori stand watching Morales' driving off in his car with his family inside. Shane looks at Rick "where's he gone?" Rick smiles "he's gone to find his family" Shane nods. Donna goes "Allen, get the boys ready to move". Billy and Ben run over to the RV. Dale looks at Rick "we'll stay behind you, should be an hours drive". Rick, Lori, Carl, Shane, and Glenn get into Lori's car, whilst everyone else gets into Dale's RV. Rick and Shane look at the camp, and Rick nods "let's go to the CDC". Rick and Shane get into the car. The car and RV drive out of the camp.
Dale sits in the driver's seat, as they drive down a street. Andrea sits in the passenger seat beside him. Dale goes "how are you feeling?" Andrea stares at him "I don't need to answer that, do I?" Dale goes "I'm worried about you, I care about you" Andrea goes "then stop caring, and leave me the hell alone" Andrea stands up and she walks to the back of the RV. Jacqui walks over and she sits in the passenger seat. Dale looks at her "I'm worried-" Jacqui looks at him "I'll keep an eye on her, just get us to the CDC safe" Dale nods at her "thanks". Jacqui then smiles at Dale.
Later on, Rick stops his car near a building. Rick gets out of the car, as the RV stops behind the car. Dale and everyone else starts to exit the RV. Rick looks at the CDC, but he sees the yard full of dead bodies. Rick sees some walkers walking around in the yard. T-Dog walks with Rick and Shane. T-Dog swings his crowbar and wacks one of the walkers in the head. Rick sees a machete on the floor and he picks it up. Rick swings his machete around one of the walker's heads. Shane then hits another walker in the head with his shotgun. Lori runs up to the front door of the CDC. Lori bangs on the door "Rick, it's locked!". Allen runs over "let me try" Allen kicks the door "shit". Donna looks around and she sees walkers coming towards them. Billy and Ben look in fear. Carol goes "guys! Walkers!" Rick aims his revolver and he shoots the walker. Andrea sees more walkers coming and she goes "more over here". Rick stares in shock as more walkers are coming towards them. Rick runs up to the door "LET US IN! HELLO? PLEASE! WE HAVE CHILDREN!". Lori screams "RICK!" Rick looks around in shock. Shane cocks his shotgun and he blows the head off of a walker. A walker grabs Carl's arm and he screams. Rick kicks the walker and its arm rips off. Carl throws the arm onto the floor. A shuttering noise is heard and Jacqui turns around. The door of the CDC open. Two men and a woman stand at the door holding assault rifles. One man, who has a name tag on saying 'Edwin' shouts "MOVE OUTTA THE WAY". Rick and the others move aside as Edwin, a man, and a woman opens fire on all the walkers. Rick stares in shock as all the walkers fall to the floor. Edwin looks at Rick "now, what the hell do you want from us?!".
Next Time - Finale - A New World - Inside the CDC, Rick and the others discover more about the world, and who is affected. As lives are changed, Rick and his group are offered a way out of the world, but Rick wants to do something different. The group's strength is put through a test.
