Injustice: The Path To Hell (DC Comics)

The world is a dangerous place. Men and women with power that leaves the world and all the insignificant lives upon it at their mercy. Many choose to exercise that power for selfish means, but a small group, a fraction of them; chose to use their power to defend the weak. They are the heroes of this world, the ones who risk their lives and sacrifice everything they are just to protect those that cannot protect themselves from the villains who would take everything from them. Yet even these heroes, are flawed. They are not perfect despite their image of such. They are not all-powerful despite their actions speaking to the contrary. They make mistakes, allow emotion to cloud their judgement, and allow pride to stay their hand. Villains are not born, they are made and often, they are made by the very heroes who fight to defend this world. These villains, in turn, make the heroes who fight them. A constant cycle that seems to have no end in sight, but ultimately, there is always something that changes. The world is never predictable, never simple, and always changes. Outliers and anomalies have come about many a time in the course of this cycle, but from this cycle, one rises that was different to the rest. He breaks the cycle and wades through the world of heroes and villains, forged by his actions and the actions of those around him. His goals are simple, and the steps he takes to reach them are long and arduous. Each one is a struggle, but one that brings him ever closer to the end. However, often, the road to hell is paved with good intentions and as his journey progresses, the world suffers the consequences.

Black Mask Arc - Rankings

So, with the first arc of the Injustice story completed, I've decided to set out a ranking of where the characters stack in comparison to one another. You are welcome to agree or disagree and I would love to hear your reasoning behind why as I personally, will never and cannot ever know everything about DC. These rankings are based on my own experiences with the characters and there are a few additional things to note before going onto the rankings.

Firstly, these characters are not at their peaks and so, there are instances in comics where they have shown feats even greater than what's been shown to other characters that should place them higher on the rankings. However, because they are not at their peaks, those feats have not yet appeared and therefore, their rankings are determined by that.

Secondly, just because one person is ranked higher, does not mean that they can't be beaten by someone ranked lower. It just means that the person ranked higher has a 50% chance or higher to defeat the person ranked lower.

Anyway, without further ado, here are the rankings:

1. Bruce Wayne/Batman (Unspecalised).

2. Basil Karlo/Clayface.

3. Floyd Lawton/Deadshot.

4. Roman Sionis/Black Mask.

5. Barbara Gordon/Batgirl.

6. Richard Grayson/Robin.

7. Esau Jacobson/Black Hood.

Again, these rankings are based on my own personal experience with the characters and you are welcome to agree or disagree with them. I've gathered my experience with some characters from comic books, fansites and forums. If you have a question or different opinion on where characters should be ranked, please let me know as I'd love to converse with people about these characters and where you think they should be ranked.
