1 Mandibles

A light brown,amber, and grey creature slowly lifted its head of the ground. It was laying belly down and it was very slim in figure. It looked very humanoid it even had pants on but no shirt. The creature had a thick tail that was 5 feet long and a very shiny and soft body. It had mandibles and eyes that was red that was on the side of its head right behind and above the mandibles.

This was the new body of Max kanji. He bobbed his head up and down quickly before shaking it from eft to right rapidly and clicking his mandibles together.

"What in The actual hell is going on here?" He scratched the top of his head before looking at his hand. Their arms were slim and didn't look to be very strong, his fingers were thin and skinny and he only had three fingers on both hands. His mandibles locked faster as he got slightly frustrated and confused.

Some water from above dropped down onto his head and splashed on top of his head. Max got up and looked at his tattered pants that looked as if they had been rolled in the dirt before being given to him. He made a whistling noise as he went to sigh to himself.

"Why am I an insect? Or am I even an insect? What am I? Ide rather be human than an insect! What even created me!" max had so many questions that would go unanswered as they echoed off the walls of the cave he stood in

He placed his hand on the stone wall of the cave. He wanted to hit his head on the wall but he didn't want to feel pain yet so he just let out a small squeal.

"What?"

"Dig what isn't this like a whole stone wall of a cave?" his eyes were buzzing around with their hard protective shell that was the outer wall of his eyes. He was so confused about life already and more questions were being brought into his head.

"Yes, I guess I would like to dig" he pressed his hand against the wall of the cave before his hand went into the wall and scooped out a chunk of the wall perfectly. He stood there with the piece of the wall in his hand in complete shock.

Max dropped the rock and scooped another piece out of the wall before repeating the process rapidly before the cave broke through into another cave. But this one had torches on the sides of it.

Right at this moment Max noticed something about himself. He could see in the dark and this surprised him a lot as he didn't notice until his vision slightly changed as the light came into view.

"Wow that's a thing?" the new cave he was in now was made out of both rock and dirt he scooped out some of the dirt and he saw it turn into red particles in his hand before a ringing went off in his head.

"Ok maybe life isn't THAT bad you know." max walked down the cave where the lights from the torches were on his left he tried to stay to the very far right of the cave because his body wasn't reacting well to the high temperature.

The light wasn't reaching very far as you couldn't see max at all. But you could see him moving within the darkness. he came to a part of the cave that branched off into two different directions. But the torches only lead down one path and it was the one on the left, He also heard some noise coming from the path on the left.

Max's top half of his body squirmed a bit as he didn't know whether to go towards the noise or go away from it but decided to follow the light and follow the noise as well. As he got closer to the noise he noticed it was the clashing of metal and every now in then he could hear some sort of metal break.

'This has to be a horrible idea.' max thought in his head, as max got closer to the sound his whole body started to slow down even his blood. As he got closer he was completely silent, as he cut the corner he wasn't even noticed by anything as he peares into the section where the noise is coming from.

It was three humans in the room battling goblins. There weren't that many but every time they get down to one another two or three would rush into the room.

"There slowing down keep it up!" the man said as he sliced off a goblin head with a singular swipe of his bade as his cape fluttered with each movement.

There was a bigger guy with a great sword and armor and a girl with a staff and robes behind him. She was firing balls of fire at the goblins.

"We have to hurry or we won't reach lia in time!" he said as he kicked a goblin deeper into the cave before he pulled out a grey stick and wood that had a cloth around it. The man struck the grey stick and a spark shot out onto the stick it caught fire quickly and he jabbed it into the wall.

They continued fighting more goblins as they started to light the cave up more. They didn't even notice max presence until they heard some dirt fall behind them.

All of them turned around and seen nothing. But I'm the darkness there was a hole in the wall that was the size of a head. While they was walking max decided to tunnel into the wall and follow them safely behind the shield of dirt.

There was a door that the people had broken through that was in the dungeon it led into an opening.

Their friend was hanging from a rope that was at the top of the cave. From the darkness in front of them, three groups of goblins walked out before a giant goblin covered head to toe in a full set of knight armor walked out behind them with a giant great sword on its back.

"You bastards! OnceWe kill you bastards we will head for the demon lord next! Now give us back Lia!" the swordsmen dashed into the group that was in front of them with one quick slash all their heads had been sliced off.

"I won't BE STOPPED!" the swordsman had a look of pure anger on his face as he stared into the dark helmet of the giant goblin.

Small clicks were heard as max silently poked his head out from the wall and Piered onto the battle field without being noticed.

Max let out a short exhale

"Guhh"
