Chapter 2

"Hello? Hello? Meg it's your father, I would like to tell you that your grandfather left you one of his estates down in the country side! Isn't that great? I will text you the details and address right now! Bye!" I barely had time to register what he had said or even reply before he hung up leaving me dumbfounded. "Alright then" I muttered to no one in particular. Suddenly, I got a text from my annoying father with the address to the estate I apparently now own.

The drive was long and tiring. Especially because there isn't very much country in Edmonton. I walked down the path way to the old house I assumed was mine because it had my name on a sign up front. The only problem was that the whole house was rotting and looked very wary and just a touch of creepy. It was almost like a Victorian mansion with a beautiful gazebo that was just rotting away with broken and weathered wood. The windows were so dusty I thought the dust was a grey curtain! even with all the disgusting well the whole thing is disgusting really. anyways, I think I could touch it up and sell it for tons! May as well take a tour of the inside and get an idea.
