Wu Zexi had mixed emotions in her heart. Though she did the negotiations well, the final outcome was not she had anticipated. She was planning to ace this bidding to find a chance to meet Mingyu. Now everything has been spoiled by that Chen's. She cursed them inside her heart.

Gao Ling was also sitting in the same car completely absorbed in her own world. They were on their way back to the Shen HQ.

Zexi realized there is still a chance to take appreciation from Shen Mingyu since the secret test is on Monday. If Gao Ling clears the test for Shen industries. She will be praised for being a great leader for guiding Gao Ling. She looked at Gao Ling and said

"Ms. Gao, you better prepare yourself for the competitive assignment on Monday. Use the weekend wisely." Wu Zexi said in an authoritative tone

Gao Ling was getting irritated by this stupid lady day by day. Still Ling didn't want react for comments like this, so replied

"Ms. Wu need not worry about that, I will not disappoint anyone in Shen industries."

They reached the Shen HQ by that time. Before We Zexi could respond, Ling said she has to work to address and left the car.

Wu Zexi cursed Ling loudly

"How can this girl be disrespectful? Isn't she supposed to wait for my orders? She just came as my assistant today, now she has so much attitude?"

Once this test gets over, this nobody Gao Ling needs to know her place. She can't mess with me like this.

Gao Ling rushed to her office and was doing all the pressing work in high speed. She wanted to be free from work. Not because she wanted to prepare for the test, but to have fun with Yun today. She was looking forward to with all her heart.

Yun started laughing at Ling for working like a robot. She teased

"Xiao Ling, don't tell me you are going to ditch me for a date"

Ling replied "Yes" She paused.

Ling Continued

"Of course I'm going out with you. I'm so excited that I want to finish all the pending work so that I can be free. So please don't disturb me now"

Yun replied

"Okay, okay you continue. But be ready by 6 in the evening at our house. I will pick you up. I'm going to meeting again, see you Xiao Ling."

With that Yun wanted to leave, but Wu Zexi came to their cabin

Wu Zexi didn't bother to look at Qing Yun, she just order Ling

"Ling, come to my office immediately. I need to discuss something. And give me your phone number. I can't come in person to call you every time."

Ling was cursing Mingyu for putting her in this awkward place with this arrogant Wu Zexi. There is no point arguing with her or replying to her in calm come . The only cure is she needs to taste her own medicine

"Ms Wu, like you I am also an employee here. Yes, I'm here as an assistant only for president Shen Mingyu. I was just asked to assist you Govt bidding. Not replaced as your personal assistant. Even after this discussion, if you have any clarification, please contact my reporting boss Mr. Jiang Yu. Now I request you to leave without causing any trouble."

Ling spoke in the same authoritative tone as Wu Zexi.

Yun agreed with Ling and looked at Wu Zexi.

She didn't respond to Ling, instead she rushed out in anger.

On the way out, She bumped into Shen Mingyu accidentally. He spoke in cold voice

It was scary, did he hear anything this stupid GAO Ling spoke. She was screaming 'Ahhhhhhhhhh' inside.

In the meantime, Shen Mingyu was sitting on the sofa in his office like a King. He has a kind of Royal King kind of aura around him. He doesn't have any delicate features, instead his looks are more like a chizled sculpture with sharp edges.

He looked up and said

"I don't need to warn you twice right?"

Wu Zexi tried to put innocent act. She said

"Mr.Shen, I'm not aware, what you are referring. Are you talking about today bidding negotiations?"

"Ms. Wu, I am not pleased with you at Bidding and your behavior at work while ago. I will have to rethink about continuing you if you repeat"

Before she could respond he said

"That's all, you may leave now." He ignored her presence and started working on the documents in front of him.

Wu Zexi didn't want break down in front of him, so quickly she left and rushed to the Jiang Yu s office.

She couldn't tolerate Shen Mingyu's harsh words. Her eyes were watery when she looked at Jiang Yu.

She controlled her tears and spoke in a shattered voice

"Mr. Jiang Yu, please tell me what went down wrong? How did Mingyu Know about bidding so soon? Why is he angry for asking to Gao Ling to assist me? Ms. Gao also says talk to you in a rude way."

Though she is at wrong, Jiang Yu didn't want to treat her badly. He wanted to give her a fair chance.

"Ms.Wu, please take a seat. If you want, I can explain what went wrong in bidding. I don't know what happened between you and Ms. Gao. You can share about that later with me."

Wu Zexi took a seat. She know Jiang Yu is childhood friend of Mingyu. If she convince Mr.Jiang, then her reputation with Shen Mingyu might turn out better. So looking forward to hearing back from him

"Ms.Wu, I have told this to multiple people before you. Shen Mingyu's is extremely sharp in his work. He has eyes everywhere.

You did well initially in the negotiations. Govt officials couldn't deny it. But when Chen's played a sympathy card, you didn't counter attack them or the Govt officials for letting us test.

Wu Zexi was shocked. She didn't think about this angle. She also remember, In-between the chaos, Gao Ling came forward and asked her speak to govt officials against conducting secret test. And also argue with them back with them. But Wu Zexi rejected her and asked her keep her quiet.

"I thought accepting the secret test will be a way proving ourselves Mr.Jiang."

"But why do we accept someone without giving a fight. You didn't counterattack, you just accepted the challenge and didn't speak back. And plus you pushed Gao Ling to undergo the test. Did you consult with either me or Mr. Shen before you decided to push her forward?"

Wu Zexi didn't speak back. He continued without expecting a reply.

"Gao Ling came with you just to assist for a day. She was not prepared like you before. Did you think about the consequences of that?"

Wu Zexi accepted the mistake "I'm so sorry, I had failed you guys terribly. What can I do now?"

"You don't have to do anything, but be careful next time. Mingyu will handle this project by himself with Gao Ling going forward."

Wu Zexi didn't expect this outcome. "Can I go ask Shen Mingyu if I can assist him?"

Jiang Yu rejected her thoughts right away

"No, never ask him. If he needs assistance, he will seek himself. That's how he functions. "

He paused and said

"We need your assistance on something else"

Wu Zexi looked at him eagerly

"Since Fu Ming had to leave abruptly, the department needs some help. You need to stay with them for a week or ten days. Rectify the ongoing issues and come back here."

Jiang Yu was in deep thought after the conversation with Wu Zexi. He was staring at the window on the side. He realized Wu Zexi's focus from Shen Tai has shifted to Shen Mingyu. At least one good thing happened in this Chaos.

Silently one delicate figure marched towards Jiang Yu. Since he was in deep thought he didn't realize the person who came behind him.

Suddenly he was wrapped by soft hands and he felt he going into the world of trance. He realized Qing Yun was having a laughing riot looking at him. He pulled and lifted her swiftly towards the sofa.

She asked him let go of her. She got up and tided her crumbled dress.

"Yu ge, what are you doing. This is your office and I'm your employee. Don't forget that ever. I don't want people to talk bad things about us."

Jiang Yu laughed out loud and said

"Okay Sorry Xiao Yun, Sit down. What made you come all the way?"

"Yu ge actually, I'm in rush to go for a meeting. I just wanted to tell you that we all girls are going to Silver Star resort tonight to have Fun. So I will see you only tomorrow, please give me a call in the morning."

She gave a quick peck on the cheek before leaving. He again went in to the dream world. 'This girl has too much off effect on me' Jiang Yu thought after coming back to reality.
