Five days passed away so quickly since Wu Zexi joined Shen Industries. She tried numerous ways to meet Shen Mingyu, yet she couldn't meet Shen Mingyu in private. So after two days she started working on her work stuff with full concentration. She needed to maintain her image infront of everyone as a perfect person.

However she felt very uneasy with Gao Ling. She kept flaunting a close relationship with Shen Mingyu to Ling and ladies in the Shen Industries. Once Wu Zexi came to Ling's cabin and said

"You know Ling, the dinner becomes delicious when you are with Shen Mingyu. Last night was extremely fun."

Actually it was family dinner between Wu and Shen's. Shen Mingyu was present only for few minutes. He never even saw Wu Zexi there. However Wu Zexi added her own story as always to make Ling angry.

Gao ling didn't want to trust Zexi's words. Ling is not petty enough to confront Mingyu for Wu Zexi's words. So she just responded

"Ms.Wu I am really glad that you had a great dinner." Ling gave a smile and went back to work.

Zexi was frustrated inside thinking, this is Gao Ling is just mere secretary, Yet she seems unaffected by her words.

Business world doesn't give any importance to human emotions. It thrives on every individual skills and qualities. Successful businessman identify the talent and use it appropriately. As per Mingyu's direction, Jiang Yu wanted to use Zexi's skillset. Her bold and assertive character can be very handy in business negotiation.

Thanks to the current business news, everyone is aware now that Chens are going to compete with Shen industries for Aviation Software Development Bid. Even if Shen Industries lose the deal with government, it's not a loss financially for Mingyu. But it will the first step against Shen industries.

Zexi got the brief from Jiang Yu about the initial negotiation. Jiang Yu planned to send Gao Ling to assist Wu Zexi. Gao Ling felt uncomfortable working Wu Zexi.

She went straight into Jiang yu office and said

"Mr. Jiang Yu, Please tell me. Why am I assisting her? I'm only the secretary of President Shen Mingyu. Now you have turned me into a Wu Zexi's assistant too now. I'm not very happy about this. This is very humiliating for me

Mr.Jiang. If this is how my role is going to be. I will quit my position at Shen Industries."

Jiang Yu started laughing like a mad person. He said

"You can't even shout properly at me in anger, you are looking like a pampered angry kid. How will you be bold like Zexi in negotiation meeting?"

"Please, don't test my anger level now". She warned him

He didn't stop laughing for some time. But teasing her further will make her anger only worse. He just simply said

"Relax Ling, the decision was not mine to send Wu Zexi in first place and it is also not my decision to send you as her assistant.

By now we are more like a friend than Colleague. So as a friend I advise you that if Mingyu takes a decision, there will be a strong reason behind it. Plus remember that always.

He paused and then added

" We may be friends for him, But the truth is at the end of the day, we are just mere employers for Shen Mingyu. How can we question him on his work decisions? What rights does we have?

He signed heavily and continued

"This is something I want you to be thinking right now patiently with clear mind. Quitting is always an easy way, But I always thought you are a fighter.I know you don't give up easily"

Though Jiang Yu was speaking in a caring voice to Gao Ling. She felt each questions is similar to the huge blow on her head.

She managed to reply "Thanks Mr.Jiang. I will think about it. Sorry for speaking hastily before."

Ling left Jiang Yu's office and came back to her cabin. She was alone since Yun was at a meeting. Ling couldn't control herself anymore, she started crying very badly. She felt very lonely for the first time in City T.

Recently things are not going smoothly for her. Her head is messed with feeling for Mingyu. Though she keep telling herself to control during the day at work. When human heart did listens to brain? So Ling always feels miserable at the end of the day.

Acting without repercussions is not Gao Ling's Style. But today she went and spoke to Jiang Yu without thinking clearly. The only consolation is that she spoke Jiang Yu instead of Mingyu.

She went to washroom to wash her face. She splashed cold water multiple times on her to clear her head. The cold water was soothing her burning heart. She patted her cheeks with the both the hands and told herself in the mirror

"I'm here to work, so let me just do that. No more space for feeling for anyone. Next time when Mingyu comes near me, I will warn him to maintain a distance."

Yun was watching Ling from the distance and her eyes teared up. Ling doesn't know that she is attracted to Mingyu because she grew up with him till early teen age. But loss of memory is messing up with her head. This girl is struggling so much inside, yet she is brave enough to face the emotions without any fear. Lot of people ignore the emotions and act strong. But she is ready to face them and take actions to rectify the scenario.

Yun locked the wash area and went closer to her friend.

She gave hug to Ling and said

"Xiao Ling, after work lets go for a girl's night out. I will call some of my friends in City too. Let's just have nothing but Fun. What do you say?"

Ling eyes lighted up with the word FUN. Ling hugged her friend being sensitive enough by not asking the problem, instead she is trying to make her feel good.

As per the plan, Wu Zexi left with Gao Ling for the negotiation meeting. On the entire she was talking to Ling as if she is her secretary. Ling thought inside that some people are so full of themselves. She didn't react for any Zexi's poking.

The Chens also arrived at the same time. The meeting started without any delay.

The manager of Chen was not able to tackle Wu Zexi arguments. They were about to lose the chance to bid. So they wanted to play sympathy card.

The Government officials were confused. They felt like giving the bid to shen industries is the right thing to do, however if they did there will be false rumors about government and Shen Industries.

So Govt officails looked at Wu Zexi and said

"Ms.Wu, we completely understand your arguments on behalf of Shen Industries."

Then He looked at everyone present and announced

"However in order to show everyone that this government is not showing any kind of favoritism, we are going to give you both of small test assignment. Whosoever does the best will be the winner."to be

Everyone was shocked and he continued

We will distribute the assignments on Monday Morning same place. We will allow only one person as representatives from each group. The assignment has to be solved in the remote place which will not be disclosed to anyone.

He stopped and he added

"There is one more criteria, which is crucial. The participant of the competition has to be someone present on behalf of the respective companies."

The Chen group came as a huge team since this was biggest opportunities for them. There was someone they has identified already. Since they saw only Wu zexi and her assistant are the only people from Shen Industries, they were very happy. They assumed they will definitely get the bid.

On the other hand, Wu Zexi is not aware of any technical stuff, leave alone aviation related software. She was panicking inside, when Govt Bidding officials asked So she came forward and pushed Gao ling as representative.

Gao Ling felt that the entire thing is weird. However being along concentrating on work is something will refresh her mind. She was looking forward to it.
