8 My Heart only beats for Ling

Mesmerized by the calm and serene environment, They both were lost in their own thoughts, they didn't speak much, yet felt like they understood each other. From the moment,he set his foot in the Cafe, His hands were holding hers. He whispered on her ears" Ling, do you like your surprise".

His sudden act gave her goosebumps on her entire body. She just managed to nod her head.

The Cafe had made few benches along the cliffs, so that visitors can sit for prolonged time and enjoy the view. Mingyu bought Ling to one of the bench and sat with her. The entire time Mingyu was holding her hands, Even Ling didn't sense anything wrong about his touch, infact she had started to like the warm feeling from his simple gestures, so she let him , though it's new for her.

The breeze was so soft and soothing for Ling, subconsciously she leaned on Mingyu's shoulder. Suddenly, she realized she might be too close to him, however it felt really good she didn't want to overthink and spoil her mood. she just closed the eyes and enjoy the breeze on her face.

Mingyu was not talking or initiating anything, he just followed her wishes. he felt so content with every minute, he spent with her. She was wearing simple jeans, T-shirt and casual coat. yet she was the most beautiful woman in his eyes. when she leaned her head and enjoying the place. he told himself, I will protect you with all my life and I am really sorry for letting you be alone for Long. From now onwards I will follow you every step of your way.

Unaware of all this thoughts of Mingyu, Ling drifted into sleep. She was working not stop since morning, so she was completely exhausted. Noticing her sleep, Mingyu lifted her in his arms without disturbing her sleep and walk towards his car.

He reached her place and tried waking her up, but she was in deep slumber. He called Qing Yun. she picked up after few ring.

"who is it" Qing Yun was so tired, she was talking carelessly

"Yun, It's me Shen Mingyu here. where are you, are you inside at your flat"

Shen Mingyu! why he it's calling me

" Yes, Ming ge,I am at home, what do you need from me"

" Yun Open Your door quickly, I am coming up now"

Already exhausted, Qing couldn't make out any sense. She opened the door, Since it's Shen Mingyu

He came back to Yun, after he put Ling down on her bed. he tucked her in the quilt and left the room quietly.

Yun came back to senses now.

" Yun ge, how can you do this. you always promised me. other than my best friend. you will not have place for any other girl. how can you get close to Ling. it's not like Ling is bad person. She is good girl too. But... she couldn't continue started crying thinking her childhood best friend. "

tears started rolling on Yun eyes, she couldn't believe whether it's real or fake.

Mingyu hugged and pacified her. Mingyu and Yun mom are sisters. so she is his little cousin.

he ordered some take out . Both Yun & him had dinner, left something for Ling incase she wakes up in the night and feels hungry.

Before leaving their flat, Mingyu reminded Yun

Yun may not know everything about Ling misfortunes when she was young. But she is clearly aware about the suffering she went though. So she promised to take care of Ling. This time she didn't want to miss her again.
