5 The Slave

On his way to the inn he realized he forgot that he needed armour and weapons so he took a detour to the blacksmith. Now going to the blacksmith he hears talking and what sounds like groans of pain so he makes it to just around the corner and stops to listen.

"Hey b**** I thought I told you to stand up." He said and then kicked her in the stomach causing her to cough up blood and groan even more.

"I hope you learned your lesson b****." He said and then left her on the ground bleeding everywhere. She was so bloody that you could barely tell she's alive the only reason you could tell was because she keep groaning. When the man left Halbert came from around the corner and approached the young lady. When he got to her she was unconscious.

"Dam, what the h*ll is wrong with people in this world some are genuinely good by some are like him and those people need pay for there sins" He said while picking up the bloody girl.

"That doesn't matter right now though, I need to get her somewhere and heal her." After he picked her up he started towards the inn. He arrived at the inn in about 10 minutes because he started to run when he could feel her slowly dying. When he got into the inn everyone looked at him crazy staring at him, but he didn't care he cared about saving the girl in him arms right now. As he ran up the stairs he tossed a gold coin at the lady at the counter.

"I'll stay for as long as that costs." He kicked the door at the very end open and laid her on the bed closing the door behind him.

"I better hurry up." As he said this he used [Healing Touch] and all her wounds healed almost instantly. She slept for the rest of the night and I slept on the floor.

"sigh...The first night in this world and I'm sleeping on the floor. I could have never expected this." He whispered to himself.

[MORNING]

I to the sound of a girl screaming. I jumped up almost instantly and saw who was screaming, it was the girl I brought back here she was staring at me with fear in her eyes though she looked dead inside she still seamed to be holding on to hope.

"Wow, calm down your ok, your safe here." He said trying to calm her down.

"No, I can't be here. I have to go back." She said while getting up trying to walk to the door.

"Wait you don't have to you, can stay here with me. I promise you'll be ok."

"You don't understand he'll kill us both if I don't go back." She said with worry in her eyes.

"I would like to see him try and kill either of us if he does I'll kill him." He said with a wide grim on his face.

"You can't beat him. He has a powerful noble on his side with an army of 8000 knights."

"So, I'll kill them too."

She looked at him dumbfounded. 'How could he be so confident? He's either really strong or really arrogant.

"Your probably wondering why I'm so confident. Well its pretty simple but I can't and won't tell you yet. But I can assure you you'll be safe."

"Ok, I trust you, but I want to help you."

"Are you sure its going to be pretty dangerous because I only accept high reward quests."

"I don't care I want to earn my living."

"Fine, but don't get in the way. There's no need to protect me."

"Got it." She said with a smile on her face.

{When the MC is in his human form his powers are limited. So if he wants to defeat or kill something fast he would have to transform back into the demon god. As can also resurrect the dead back to normal if the body is still intact and can also resurrect the dead that are decayed into undead.}
