1 – A Mysterious Heroine?

Yukki Kajou. An academically unparalleled student who has been the Top 1 ever since he started school. However, he is subpar not only in looks but in sports as well. Leading him to grow up as an introvert who's only social event are the field trips and the occasional vacation he gets.

Growing up, he has always envied his neighbours, particularly the Hyoudous and the Shidous. Gazing out his window and watching the 2 kids near his age play, he deemed them impossible for someone like him.

So, he ended up spending his childhood either playing online games, studying or just reading books. Now that he is on his 3rd Year of Junior High, he has noticed his severe lack of friends and wanted to change it after his graduation. In a new school. (Kuoh Academy wasn't co-ed at this time)

In his original life, he does horribly and ends up being an even more lonely existence. Not only were his looks not that impressive, but he was also incredibly clumsy and plain bad at physical activities of big actions. (He was a surgeon, and as an online gamer his hand skills were good).

Now, however. In front of the boy who just started his 3rd Year of Junior High, was a Class-Card.

Curiosity took the best of him, picking it up and observing the mysterious metal card. In front of it was a beast-man, it gave him a feeling of madness that he couldn't quite figure out, but suddenly. The feeling disappeared and replaced by an equal feeling of... being different. He didn't know why, but he had the compulsion to bring it with him.

After his classes, he went home immediately as he has nothing other than going home to do anyways.

"I'm home," Yukki said in a hurry. He slipped off his shoes and went straight to his room.

Taking out the mysterious card, he placed it on his lap as he sat on his bed. He stared at the card, knowing that it was not normal.

He had been feeling various other emotions has he normally wouldn't, especially when it came to the sweets he passed by as he went home. Maybe it was a sentient object?

"Hello?" Yukki said, in hope that it might do something.

Not really expecting anything else, he laid down on his bed with the card on hand. He was tired. The constant impulses proved to be harder to contain and he was trying his best not to do anything the whole day.

Thus, the soft feeling of his bed made him sleepy. Slowly, and surely. His eyes closed. The feeling of sleep taking him in.

Only for him to wake up in different space, the walls were white and the room itself was similar to space. There were no light bulbs anywhere, but the light was present.

In front of him was a girl. Pale skin, golden eyes, white-blonde hair. Most of her face was concealed by the hood, that was connected to a long coat. She wore breastplates and a rather revealing bottom. The only clothes being thigh-length socks? That which was connected by a futuristic-looking garter belt to her... bloomers? She also held a blade, a clearly kingly looking blade that was emitting a red beam. Overall she looked futuristic. (It's Mysterious Heroine X Alter Stage 3)

She reminded him of a dark lord or something.

"Excuse me... err" Yukki began. He was introverted, not inept at socializing.

"I... am servant Berse- Saber. Yes. I'm a Saber. Probably. But, no... I'm not actually a servant? I'm a saint graph encoded to the Berserker Class Card. I exist but only for you. Yes. That is what I am" She spoke in a low, kind of soft tone. She sounded confused but by the end, she seemed to no longer be so.

Yukki did not know, nor have any idea what was happening. So, he did the only thing he could do in this situation.

"Ah. How... about we do a proper introduction? Name, nicknames, likes, dislikes, hobbies and reason for being here?" Yukki suggested.

The mysterious girl looked down and mulled over it, eventually, she did a small nod and started first.

"My name is... you can refer to me as Mysterious Heroine X... Alter. Nickname? Probably... Ecchan? I like sweets. Especially Japanese sweets as they give me more mana and they taste better. I dislike Mysterious Heroine X... and bitter foods. My hobbies are... to read light novels, listen to music, eat snacks and relax. My reason for being here is to... make you become a Demi-Servant, probably." She said in one go.

Yukki was a smart boy and managed to note and memorize those things, he stood around for a bit and did his.

"My name is Kajou Yukki, Yukki is fine. I like... studying, games– the not physical one– and reading. I also like foods that require a lot of prep to eat, like nuts or oranges. My dislikes are... perverts and dragons. I don't like perverts because my mom was harassed by them before, and some of my bullies are huge perverts too. I don't like dragons because they are stupid. To be honest, it's something like a childhood fear, my father used to scare me with dragons if I didn't behave. I also think dragons in stories are all stupid. Prideful and stupid. My hobbies are the same as my likes. I'm here after sleeping." Yukki said with satisfaction.

Ecchan however, grimaced at Yukki's dislikes. She was... also a dragon technically. She decided to be honest about it.

"Um. I'm actually, technically a dragon. It's part of my character and saint graph. So, I don't think we'll get along" She said in the same low and soft tone.

Yukki was a little taken aback, true as it may be that he hates dragons, he wasn't stupid and petty to hate a person just cause of that. Still, he decided to ask if she could transform or something to placate himself.

"Do you... turn into a dragon or something?" Yukki asked, a little apprehensive.

"No" Ecchan replied just as fast.

"Oh. Then it's alright. I hate how they look more so than anything else anyways." Yukki smiled as he clarified.

Then out of nowhere, he remembered his impulses and the girl's likes.

"AH! Perhaps, it was because of you that I had those weird feelings?" Yukki asked as he hammered his palms.

"Yes. Since I am basically merging with you. It might be impulses but as time goes on, you will be like me." She added as she walked towards Yukki with her sword out.

"I forgot to do this before. But, here." She said as she pulled the sword back and prepared to stab Yukki.

"Eh?!" Yukki screamed as he fell back on his ass and the stab missed. Barely.

"Why are you... trying to kill me?" Yukki asked, a bit scared.

Ecchan sighed. She pointed her sword at Yukki again.

"Please don't make this more tiring than it should be. I'm merely letting you borrow my noble phantasm and giving you the basic knowledge about servants and class cards. This place is your soul technically, so I can directly stab you to do those" Ecchan explained.

"Now. Please stay still" She said a little late, as she already stabbed through Yukki's heart anyways.

"Ah-" Yukki barely squeaked as a bright light emitted from his chest that was pierced and all of a sudden he suddenly had information flow into his head. And then, he passed out. While already sleeping in the first place.

ICDS

"Oi. Yukki. Wake up. Sheesh, did you participate hard on P.E today or something?" A woman's voice, Yukki's mother complained.

He felt a hand poke his shoulders. Yukki opened his eyes and swiftly sat up, looking at his arms and patting his chest and back.

No holes. He was breathing. Alive.

He sighed. Glad that the girl was telling the truth. He then noticed that the card was missing. But, before that, he answered his mother.

"Ah. What was it you wanted me to do, mom?" Yukki asked. Acting like he did nothing weird the first few seconds.

"Buy some eggs for me, I have to cook dinner soon," She asked, seeing her son was awake she stepped out of his room, leaving her last orders for him to do.

After she disappeared. He immediately stood up and started looking for the class card. However, he couldn't find it anywhere. But, from the depths of his instinct. He felt it tugging.

He decided to sit back down and focus. All the information on his head was the basics of basics. After a while, he decided to trust his gut feeling.

"Include" Yukki spoke unsurely.

Then, in a flash of blue, the same exact sword as what Ecchan wielded appeared at his hands. Yukki smiled. Apparently, the first person he managed to talk to wasn't imaginary after all. Or was she even a person?

Yukki didn't really care. He stood up and took the money from the table.

"Uninclude" He muttered.

The sword disappeared, and he looked the same as he usually was...

...

A brief glance at his mirror made him stop in place.

His sideburns.

They were white-blonde.
