2 How it began (II)

Gabriel didn't want to choose the lesser power, so he looked at the greater power and stopped at the servant option. He was always interested in the Nasuverse servant but, at the same time, confused at the complicated lore and law in the nasuverse. He already knows which servant he should summon. As he clicks the servant option, he searches for the servant he needs. The servant he wanted is located in the 4 points section, where the weaker servant is located. The servant he chose is Sasaki Kojiro, an Assassin servant that has a sword skill that surpasses King Arthur or any swordsman in the Holy Grail War.

After choosing Sasaki Kojiro as his power, he looks at his points that show he only has six left. He then goes to the world Breaking power and clicks the Kaleidoscope power as it shows that my power at -2 points as World Breaking power needs 8 points each. He also takes the Inspired Inventor because he wants a power that will grow every day. He looks at the point and sees -10 displayed in the top corner of the monitor.

After finishing choosing the power he wants, Gabriel summarizes that he will be Sasaki Kojiro, the swordsman that attains the concept of Infinite. He also gets the power of Infinite Multiverse because of the Kaleidoscope, and he is also a Caster that can create many items to support his journey through the world.

After finishing the power selection section, Gabriel clicks next and sees Advantages and Disadvantages. Where he can choose a perk that makes his life easier and Disadvantage where it will make his life harder; however, it also gives him another point to spend.

The first perk he chooses is the Man of Mysteries, where he will have the passive ability to block any mental attack that tries to know his identity. So mind reading and divination will never work on him. After choosing Man of Mysteries, his score became -11. The next thing he picks is Special Snowflakes, which give him a passive ability that gives him immunity to any attempt to copy, drain, reproduce, steal, or suppress his power. After picking the last perk, he looked at his score, showing -12 in the display.

He then clicks next where the Disadvantage and chooses Geas for +2, making his score become -10. Sadly he can't choose which Geas he can take. He then picks the Wanted option where he will get +2 for each group that has a large power influence on their recruit list or kill target list. He then picks four organizations and chooses the organization he wants to target him. He picks the Slaughterhouse 9 that wants to kill him or recruit him. The PRT that wants to recruit him into their force. The Gesellschaft or known as the NAZI to recruit him or kill him. Lastly, the Cauldron that wants to recruit him or brainwash him into their weapon against scion. All of those will give him 8 points, which make his total score of -2 points.

The last Disadvantage he picks is Without Map, where he will drop somewhere in the world, it can be a safe place or a warzone. He can take +2 points for the location where it will always be a warzone or a quarantine zone, but he didn't want to take any risk, so take the +1 option where he will drop to any random place in the world that is not too dangerous for him. His point then shows he just needs another point to make it to zero.

Gabriel then clicks the next button where it shows the section of a brighter world where he can spend more points to make the worm canon more bearable or the thing gets worse. The click thing gets worse and picks the disastrous option, which makes the world more challenging. While it makes his journey more difficult, he can do it with his powerset, and He just needs to lay low for a few weeks to make his Inspired Investor work as intended. The disastrous option give him +2 points leaving him one point to spend.

After thinking for a de minutes, Gabriel chooses the Charles Atlas Superpower. Charles Atlas Superpower will give him the perfect body of a peak human and a little bit more. However, it was not the reason he takes this passive skill, the real reason is this skill will allow him to increase his stats even though he is a servant.

After he clicked next and he saw a word of Good Luck. Seeing it, he chuckles a little as this CYOA is not meant for him because it looks like that this CYOA is intended for a teenager to fill as they play it in their house.

After filling the CYOA, Gabriel looks at the clock and sees that it is already 11 PM. So he walks to his bed and closes his eyes as he thinks about the CYOA he just finished.

When Gabriel opens his eyes, he only sees a void in front of him. As he looks back, he sees a temple that is so familiar to him. This is the Ryuudou Temple from Fate/Stay Night. He looks at the puddle of water near him and sees his face in the water reflection. It was the face of the Assassin in Fate/Stay Night. There is only one explanation he can come up with.

"DAMN YOU ROB"

As he curses the ROB that makes him the character from his CYOA, Gabriel suddenly has a rush of knowledge coming from the body he resides in now.

The memory began a long time ago, he was the son of an ordinary farming family, living an ordinary farm life and separated from ordinary common sense. He met a master swordsman who had retired deep into the mountains and began his everyday life in the mountains himself. He was enthralled by the swordsmanship of the master, and he began training under him the next day. The master swordsman only taught him the refined behavior of a swordsman, a communion with nature, and the master swordsman did not instruct him on anything related to sword techniques.

After one month, the master swordsman drew his last breath, and he completely threw himself into the path of a swordsman. He died lacking a name, never even fortunate enough to be given one, and the ability to read or write. He utilizes a long Japanese katana and discovers the ultimate technique, "Tsubame Gaeshi," being all he possesses.

Gabriel didn't know how long time had passed when he viewed these memories, and it felt like a year as he viewed the memory of Sasaki Kojiro. Gabriel… No… This time he is both Sasaki Kojiro, the ordinary swordsman, and Gabriel Revaldi, the ordinary man. Both of them have the same goal, Kojiro wants to harness his swordsmanship into perfection so he can make his master proud while Gabriel Revaldi wants to harness his knowledge so he can make his Grandparent proud. While both are different dreams, but at the same time, it feels the same. While remembering his life, Kojiro looks at the light that appears in front of him at the end of the stair of Ryuudou Temple.

"Looks like I got summoned, huh? Let see who my master is? Maybe, it will be Taylor or maybe Amelia."

Kojiro walks toward the light, and a second later, he is gone from the Ryuudou Temple.
