William looked at him strangely and asked
"What are you laughing at?"
The man laughed for a while before answering
"If I'm a murderer then you're a butcher... hahahaha..."

William opened his eyes wide at that moment and then inhaled a big puff of air before getting up while looking at the homeless man who was still smoking.
He kept quiet, reflecting on the words of the homeless man.
Then a smile appeared on his lips and he looked at the homeless man
"I understand, maybe you're just my subconscious, an illusion or something, but thank you for your help."
"Soul projection!"
The world around William collapsed like a broken mirror, he closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again few seconds later.
He found a purple humanoid being with a dark aura hanging released by humanoid's body.
Looking at Soul Purple, a sentence crossed his mind.
Whatever William did he couldn't get away from purple soul, he tried all his abilities without much success.
"Soul projection!" William whispered.
He used his soul to push Soul Purple away, it worked, but every time his soul stayed in physical contact with Soul Purple he felt like he had his whole body burned by the worst flames of hell.
His soul regenerated every damage he received, it lasted for three hours before a change happened.
William's soul as it gradually fell apart and no matter what he did, he couldn't stop this decomposition.
"Aaaaaaaaaggghg" a pain he had never felt before seized, attacked him.
Gradually his soul completely disintegrated and his body fell to the ground.

But a few seconds later, William slowly came to his senses, he got up from the ground and staggered slightly.

The humanoid grabbed Soul purple and then shredded it like a piece of paper before disappearing.

A few moment later, William heard noises of vehicles heading towards him.
"The city is evacuated, we located the position of the supernatural beings, prepare the Hellfires."
Suddenly a dozen helicopters and Tanks surrounded William.
An elderly man stepped out of a Military Jeep and headed towards him.
"You are under arrest, on behalf of the United States government of America."

"Ah, forget it" says he then entering his purchasing interface.
After having browsed his purchase interface for a while, he finally decided to save his points to make better purchases in the future.
He was already satisfied with his current strength. He trained the next few days, until the notification of the Infinite space.
