3 Wake Up Call (3)

Ru found himself in a strange limbo. His body felt light but heavy at the same time, it was hard to breath yet so easy to hear.

Almost as if he was drifting between two places at once. The silence of this place felt oddly warm and comforting, yet at the same time held an almost vacant emptiness.

But suddenly, he felt a strange surge of energy course through his veins. His body, his head and even to the depths of his soul. The feeling only rises, and his body started to feel numb. Try as he might, he couldn't move, not even a single finger, until suddenly he heard something…

Or rather, someone….

'Is…someone there?…'

Ru spoke softly, barely able to even so much as speak at all.

But in the midst of all this darkness, he felt the strange surge again. Followed by a great bright light, engulfing everything in his field of vision.

'Wha- Ahhhhhhhh!…..'

Ru screamed as the light vastly approached him making everything he saw to bright to see, almost blinding to be exact.

...…..

Soon Ru opened his eyes, everything was a bit blurry but he could see figures of people all around him.

'Huh?…people…are they saying something?..'

Ru thoughts seemed dazed as his vision slowly became more clear. He started to see that the people around him were doctors, all wearing the same uniform as Innessa Reinhardt.

Ru's hearing also become a bit more clearer, now being able to pick up on what they were all trying to say.

"He seems stable, good someone go grab doctor Innessa Reinhardt! Tell him the patient is awake"

'?!…'

As one of the nurses ran out of the room to find Innessa Reinhardt. Ru was left a bit confused and worried that something might've happened to him while he was asleep.

"U-Um, did the procedure go wrong doc?.."

Ru spoke towards the male doctor overseeing him. The doctor turned to look at him and spoke in a manner that could only be described as astonishing.

"Ah, so you regained your senses that's good. But as for your question, the examination process went..well…even we don't know…"

"Huh? What do you mean by that doc?.."

The doctor sighed, grabbing nearby documents containing Ru's information. Ru looked puzzled as to what the doctor was trying to show him.

"This is you correct mister Cimon?"

The doctor showed him a picture of himself on the document file. Ru took a look, and he nodded in response to the doctors question.

"Um..yeah that's me. Why? did, the scanner mess up my face?!"

Ru grabbed his face anxiously, trying to feel if there was something wrong. But, the doctor merely shook his head in response to Ru's urgency, managing to calm down Ru.

"That not it…we'll it is…but. Here it would be better if you just take a look at yourself first"

"Huh?…"

The doctor walked over to Ru, handing him a small mirror. As Ru looked into the small mirror, he gasped, he was stunned at how different he looked..more…handsome?!

"WHO THE HELL IS THAT?!.."
