38 Chapter: Your Eyes Are Glowing

It has been a while since the alarm went off but Hyun Soo doesn't wish to wake up today. Her eyes are puffy and red she wasn't able to have a good sleep yesternight but she has to wake up else, who will help Do Yun in the cafe.

With this thought in her mind, she woke up in a hurry and ran towards the bathroom. Bustling into the kitchen she made breakfast, two serving each and packed it neatly in a lunchbox. Going or if precisely running through the hustle and bustle street she reached the bus stop in time. She sat on the bench as she panted, "I hope I reach on time." She mumbled.

As the bus arrived she quickly grabbed a window seat in the back of the bus. She looks outside the window as the bus made its way through the road.

Many thoughts surrounded her mind and she kept thinking. Last night she felt that someone was there near her to comfort her, she felt someone's touch on her cheek. She felt that someone had wiped out her tears. That sense of being cared which remained even just for a second pacified her heart. She took in a deep breath as she thought of that moment and closed her eyes...

"Do Yun!" Hyun Soo cried as she saw Do Yun dying.

He slowly fell on the ground spitting blood.

"Hyun Soo!" He slightly whispered her name with all the energy which was left in him

Hyun Soo ran towards him and held him in her arms as she sat down.

"Hold on! Don't close your eyes. You can get out of this alive, stay with me." She said as tears dropped one by one hurriedly form her eyes.

"I-I had told you..." He whispered.

Hyun Soo took her ear near his lips as he whispered again, "I had told you...I won't be able to pro-protect you."

And he closed his eyes as last breath escaped through his mouth.

"Do Yun!" Hyun Soo wailed...

But then suddenly,

"Ma'am your stop has arrived." The conductor jerked Hyun Soo who was frowning while sleeping and was a bit uneasy in her seat.

"Huh?" She exclaimed being horrified as she panted lightly.

"Ma'am your stop." He pointed outside.

Fortunately, the conductor had noticed Hyun Soo regularly getting down from the bus on this stoppage and so he knew that it's her stop.

"Oh! Yeah, sorry." She stood up in a hurry and made her way out.

The conductor gave her a small smile as she bowed down to show her gratitude. She started to walk towards the cafe but her mind was stuck into the dream.

"What an awful dream was that?" She mumbled as she kept looking at her steps.

"What could be the meaning of such a dream?"

She kept walking when someone bumped into her shoulder from behind her, "Uh! I'm sorry!" The guy quickly exclaimed and went pass by Hyun Soo lowering his head and hiding it with his cap as he made his pass by the cafe.

Hyun Soo found it strange as she kept looking at that man who was wearing everything black.

Before she could proceed further with her thoughts someone interrupted her, "Why are you standing here?"

Aera came to her wearing cafe uniform.

"I-uh-" Hyun Soo stuttered.

"Let's go! The cafe is a bit busy."

She held Hyun Soo' hand and took her inside. The cafe was a lot busy and so Hyun Soo quickly shook off her thoughts and rushed towards the counter to take over the work while Aera went on serving the orders.

Here Do Yun who was in his room was really fed up of staying in his bed, it's been two days since he was discharged from the hospital and now that he was feeling good and less painful he wanted to work. He wasn't someone who would take favours from others and right now because of his injuries he had to take help from Aera and Hyun Soo unwillingly.

He stood up from his bed and went out while walking slowly. As he came out wearing just a loosened plane white t-shirt with a pair of black track pants with white stripes on its sides Aera was the first one to notice him.

"Why are you out of your bed?" She asked being concerned.

"I-" He looked for Hyun Soo.

"You need to rest, why are you here. Hyun Soo and I can handle it." She said and tried to take him inside his room.

"I don't want to!" He exclaimed as he looked at Aera. His face was stern and expressionless.

Aera quickly got her hands off from him and stepped one step behind, "Sorry." She exclaimed as she looked down.

Do Yun soon realised his mistake, he shouldn't have behaved that way toward her and so he said, "Let me just sit out here."

Aera nodded with a bit hesitant looks, Do Yun smiled at her and patted her head, "Get back to your work then..."

He walked past her while she stood there smiling as he looked at him. Do Yun had never treated her so nicely ever since she came back here. But today his smile and that slight pat made her feel secure that he still is close to her.

Sang Hyeon was today not present in the cafe and Hyun Soo was busy in taking orders. Do Yun went near her and stood in front of the counter.

Hyun Soo who was making coffee got stunned as she turned around to find Do Yun standing, "Ho-how come you're standing...doesn't your leg hurt?" She asked looking at his legs by tiptoeing from the other side of the counter.

Do Yun looked down and shook his head and said, "Nope, they feel much better now." He lifted his head and smiled at Hyun Soo.

"That's a relief...but still. You shouldn't stand for too long, don't stress yourself out." Hyun Soo was worried.

Do Yun shook his but before he could say anything he eyes got stuck at someone. Someone Who was looking at them from up high on the terrace of the building opposite to through the glass walls of the cafe.

Do Yun narrowed his eyes as he looked at that man who was standing on the edge of the terrace wearing a long coat which blew along with the wind.

"What happened?" Hyun Soo asked and tried to trail the path of Do Yun's sight but before she could see Do Yun said, "I'll be back."

He ran towards the door and as he opened the door to chase that man who looked so familiar to him, someone entering the cafe bumped into him,

"Sorry!" Quickly Do Yun apologized as he stepped a bit aside to walk further on his way. But the man grasped Do Yun's arm and forced him to go inside the cafe.

"Who are-" Do Yun tried to question but the man brought his lips near Do Yun's ear and whispered,

"Your eyes are glowing, don't let him see that..."
