Chapter 8

Tatsumaki: "What happened yesterday was a technique I came up with from all the training I have been doing, it was my first time doing it so I was exhausted from using all my energy and I didn't expect it to do so much damage but after a bit more practice I should be able to reduce the damage it does. I promise not to use that technique in the village anymore since it seems to cause too much damage to the village"

Matron: "you mean to tell me all this time you have been staying by yourself is to practice blowing things up?!! Do you know how dangerous things that was?! You came home with scars all over yourself and you didn't wake up for hours, and Anais oh my god she could have been hurt you know she is not as strong as you I will not allow this to happen again you are not to"

Tatsumaki: "I am going to have to stop you there Matron, dream is to become the strongest martial artist in the world and to do that I need all the time I can get to practice, and if you plan on stopping me from fulfilling my dream then I will just have to leave and fulfill my dream on my own. Eventually once my practice improves, I will be able to fly, and you won't be able to stop me, so you are left with the choice of supporting me as I work hard to fulfill my dream or continue trying to hold me back and leaving me with no choice but to cut you out of my life forever."

As much as I enjoy the comfortable and slow life I'm living in this village I don't plan on letting my grind stop just because someone feels that it will be dangerous to practice, as much as I respect that she just wants me to be safe I have more important things to worry about in the future, there's frieza, cell, Majin buu and even the possibility of our universe being erased and I will not leave my fate to some Saiyans that are addicted to fighting, with my appearance in the dragon ball world I don't know what sort of butterfly effect it will cause, I definitely plan on interacting with the main cast when they plan on getting the dragon ball why let hot babes like Bulma and android 18 end up with vegeta and krillin when I can keep them for myself, while I can potentially make any girl unimaginably attractive there's just something about making the hottest girls you saw from the anime yours that is irresistible, I would consider making launch mine as well but the personality switch issue she has is a major pain in the ass but ill cross that bridge when I get there.

The matron and the other adults looked shocked and it seems they are still processing what I told them, I might have given the impression that I am not a kid but I'm too lazy to continue acting like I can be told what to do when I can literally just decide to draw a lottery for my power level and most likely be the strongest person on the planet, my luck is high enough to most likely achieve that.

Matron: "I can't understand why would you want to become strong? I cant bring myself to understand why you would continue practicing such a dangerous thing and while I want to support you in your dream I cant, you need to understand that I have to take care of the other children and I'm scared that one day you will lose control of your powers when you decide to practice in your room one day, while I trust you wont make such a mistake I cant take the risk, it wouldn't be responsible of me to so"

Hearing her reply, I can't tell if I should be happy or sad, while I am happy that I can get some sort of freedom I am also upset that she would be willing to let me go alone, it is most likely some sort of residue of emotions from when my body was living without my past life memories. I can't exactly blame her, like she said while there is a low chance of me injuring people with my Ki, the possibility is not inexistent, and it would be stupid to leave the lives of many people to fate.

Tatsumaki: "I understand, I will make plans to leave"

Village chief: "Now wait a minute, there is no need to leave the village. As the Matron has said it would not be wise to have you stay with the children it doesn't mean we should abandon you and your dream, what sort of monsters would we be if we let you leave go out into the world to defend yourself at the age of 5 or 6? We have a spare house at the outskirts of the village, you can make a living by helping us with the hunting seeing as you are most likely stronger than most of the adults in the village and maybe if you are willing you can teach some of the adults how to do what you did Hehe. I think it would be best if you wait till you were around 11 or 12 before you choose to leave, I will feel a lot better if you didn't leave while you were still too young"

This old man is crafty, he plans on letting me stay in the village long enough to have an emotional attachment so I will be less eager to leave and or even teach the adults how to control their Ki and even if I decide not to teach them they will still get more prey with me helping around and while I don't mind leaving on my journey I don't want to be homeless on my journey, wouldn't be a great story to tell anyone I should try to learn magic maybe I can build myself a home with earth magic.

Tatsumaki: "I agree to your proposal, I will leave once I turn 12 it would be much easier to get around the world while I'm older since even though I can fly adults are less likely to take some of my age seriously"

Village chief: "you don't talk like someone your age Hehe; were glad you've decided to stay since winter isn't too far off and well need your help to stock up for the winter"

Tatsumaki: "So when do I get to see my new place?"

Village chief: "I will show you the place later today, for now I will let you say goodbyes to your friends here, I hope you don't have a grudge since you are incredibly smart you should be able to understand that the matron had to do what was best for the children, Adults are often tasked with making the toughest decisions and living with it for the rest of our lives"

I gave a slight hum and went back to my room to get what little of the things I had, while clearing my room I heard a knocking and I thought it would be the matron coming to apologize or something but to my surprise it was Anais.

Anais: "I-I'm sorry for telling them even though you asked not to b-but the matron was asking and the other adults w-were also there and I.."

Tatsumaki: "its fine, I don't mind I already expected you to tell the matron it wasn't really a big deal, my offer to have you stay close by while I train still stands while I don't know if the matron will allow you to come with how scared she is, but you will always be welcome. I will tell you what was on my mind since you have been staying next to me and I will be as honest as possible it will also most likely hurt your feelings, but you need to hear it. You are ugly there is no changing that for now but just because you are born ugly doesn't mean you should allow yourself to feel that way, the others are able to bully you because you feel ugly and are not able to fight back because you don't have the will to fight back, I believe like me you should also train to be strong, if you are as strong as me then none of the kids would be able to bully you and maybe in the future you can change the way you look"

Anais: "ch-change the way I look? Is that possible"

Tatsumaki: "Anything is possible, if you are powerful enough you can do anything. There are 3 types of power, financial, position and physical power. No matter how ugly you are as long as you have money people will be willing to be with you and with money you can possibly perform plastic surgery but I don't recommend this method maybe as a last resort, with the power that comes with being in a high position people would also try to get with you maybe not for the best of reasons but you have a lot to gain and little to lose if you are smart about it and the most important, Physical power, once you are capable of walking around the world undeterred getting money is as easy as breathing, no matter what position you have no matter how much money you have all it takes for you to lose it all is for a person that can destroy a city with an attack like the one I used yesterday to make you his target and you instantly lose it all. Sleep on what I've told you and if you want to get stronger ill allow you to train with me."

I took my things and left I decided to say goodbye to the matron before I leave, while I feel a bit hurt it would be rude to not say goodbye to the person that raised me for 6 years of my life.

Tatsumaki: "I'm here to say goodbye matron"

Matron: "Tatsumaki… I'm sorry I hope you can understand…"

Tatsumaki: "Its fine, I understand that you are just looking out for the orphanage and the kids in it, you would have made the same decision if I was one of the children that could have been injured. Thank you for raising me for as long as you have! I plan on doing everything I can to accomplish my dream and I hope to show you how powerful I am in the future"

Matron: "I hope you are able to achieve your dream, you are always free to visit will you be saying goodbye to the children?"

Tatsumaki: "I wont I don't have any friends here, at least not anymore please say goodbye to them for me"

After saying goodbye to the Matron, I decided to head for to the village chief's home to have home show me to my new place. My first step towards my goal of being undeterred starts from now and I'm really excited about it.
