It Begins

"I'm Steve, Steve Rivon". Alex didn't speak. "Just called you to say something, something very interesting", Steve continued. "It's WANDA", and he started laughing. "What do you want?", Alex demanded. "Whoa! You're too straightforward mahn!", Steve exclaimed. "Why me?", Alex asks again. Catherine released the hug and looks at Alex. Alex gestures her to move away from the room, so that he could phone privately. Catherine obeys without hesitation. "Oh! Now I get it. You know something", Steve answers back. "Well, I can't miss the flibanserin spray bottle that you tuck into your left pocket while coming out of my room", Alex snaps back. "Wow! I didn't expect that. You're quite an observant" Steve replies in surprise.

"Why drag my wife into this? You could've approached me directly", Alex questions. "Well, who told you that I was coming for you?", Steve asks back. "Because you would've called her now, if this involved her. Not me", Alex snaps again. "Mmm, brilliant", Steve couldn't control being impressed. "Now, tell me", Alex demands again. "Hahaha, Not too much giveaways for today. I just told you what I wanted to tell. It's WANDA", and the phone disconnects.

Alex rushes off to check on Catherine. She already dozed off, sitting on a chair. Alex lifted her in his hands and walked into the bedroom, carrying her. Is Steve trying to blackmail me with some videos and pictures of him and Catherine? Or is he planning to do something else? Well, why me? Alex lays Catherine comfortably in bed and covers her with a blanket.
