Poke....another poke. ...another poke
"Jeannie stop poking me!"
"But I want you to come lingerie shopping with me" she whined
" I don't want to go lingerie shopping. Besides, you went lingerie shopping last week."
"I've worn them all. pretty please" She cried
"No. I'm not changing my mind. Today is Sunday and I'm going to stay in, watch netflix and stuff my face with junk. That's what I'm doing" I replied pulling the duvet over me head.
"Not fair." she pouted, stomping her foot like a stubborn five year old.
"I'm serious. You can join me if you want. There's always room for you" I patted the space beside me. she sighed and sat down, taking up my offer.
" I'm eating your chocolate for this" she rushed, pulling my candy drawer and stealing a bunch of chocolate bars before running away.
"Hey! get back here" I ran after her. My precious chocolate. After a few minutes of running around like mad women, I got my kit kats back.
"No really, we should do something today." she said breathing very hard.
"Yeah. Let's invite the guys over. We could bake a cake?" I suggested.
"That'd be cool. I'll let them know. Should I call Adrian too?". I still haven't talked to him. I guess it's time to sort it out
" Yeah. I guess" I shrugged. she grinned and ran to my room to get her phone.
Thirty minutes later and the boys were banging on my front door like monkeys.
" Do you want to break the damn door? Fucking morons" I said after letting them in. Jordan pulled me in for a hug.
"Jordan leave me alone" I said pushing him off. He let me go and pouted.
" Don't you want my hugs anymore? "
"They're not meant to be so long idiot."
"Oh sorry" he flashed me a toothy grin. I shook my head and went into the kitchen to see the boys stuffing their faces with snacks. Except Adrian. I guess he was still feeling weird about being here.
"Adrian" ı called. He looked a little surprised that I called him. " A minute please?" I smiled. He nodded and followed me out the back door.
"I'm sorry for the way the treated you the other day" I said looking at the floor. His body became stiff immediately those words left my mouth. After some seconds, he let out a heavy sigh.
" It's fine." he smiled at me and hugged me. I pulled away after five seconds.
" So...why don't you invite your girlfriend over" I smiled. His eyes widened and he looked away from me while rubbing his neck. He was thinking hard about it. I could tell because he was biting his lower lip.
" No. I just want to spend sometime with my best friend" he shook his head smiling at me.
"Alright. If you say so. Let's go in and see what those banshees are up to now"
"NO WAY!!! What the flying fuck is going on here? !!" I screamed. My kitchen was a mess. No, it was a flour hurricane disaster. Jordan, Declan, Bryan and Jeannie were all covered in floor and It looked like they were about to be covered in eggs too because they were each holding eggs in their hands, ready to throw them.
" I leave the kitchen for five minutes and this is what happen?"
"You're starting to sound like my mom" Bryan mumbled.
" I heard that!"
" Sheesh. Don't get your granny panties in a twist, we'll clean it up" he rolled his eyes.
" You better. And no more cake. We're ordering pizza" I said and left the kitchen with Adrian for them to clean up. I wasn't going to help them at all. I was mad. Adrian and I made ourselves comfortable on the love seat while he ordered four boxes of pizza and two 1 litre Coca-Cola cans for everyone. I chose the movie . Cheaper by the dozen. The movie was something I knew both boys and girls were okay with watching. I mean it's a pretty hilarious movie.
After some minutes, the pizza delivery guy came and I paid for the pizza. The guys finished up later and settled down on the remaining couches and floor. We watched the movie quietly until the pizza finished and Declan decided that he wanted some popcorn.
"Got any popcorn in the house?" he asked
"yeah. Top drawer by the right. Make for everyone please" he nodded and left for the kitchen. Few minutes and a couple of pops later, he came out with a very large bowl full of popcorn. He placed it on the center floor and we all sat around it on the floor, stuffing our faces and watching the movie.
"I'm going to use the toilet. Where is it?" Jordan asked.
"Hallway. second door by the right"
"Thanks"
"Alisha, why do you have a cupboard full of chocolate? " he asked eating one of my chocolate bars. I groaned. why does everyone eat my chocolate. The guys stood up immediately and ran to my room to take chocolates too. Someone shoot me.
It was 5pm now and they were leaving. I must say, today was fun and I made up with Adrian too. I guess I'm just going to try to get over my feelings for him and move on. He has a girlfriend and I don't think they're breaking up anytime soon. God I sound so pathetic. Besides, Bryan does seem like a good guy. He's not exactly the cocky and proud football captain I pegged him to be and I think I might just give him a chance. I mean there's nothing to lose right? He likes me and I like him a teeny bit. Who knows, I might just end up liking him more.
"Thanks for today" Declan said and went out the door.
"Yeah I had a lot of fun...and chocolates" Bryan teased. I punched his arm and pushed him out the door. His laughter filled the whole place and I actually found myself smiling.
"I'm happy we can talk to each other now. Not talking to you was really weird" Adrian said and kissed my forehead before nodding his head at me and leaving the door. How can he do things like that and expect me not to fall for him?! ugh!!
"I'll be on my way Bes. See ya" Jeannie waved before leaving. I smiled and was about to close the door when I realized that Jordan hadn't left. The guys were patiently waiting for him in their car but I didn't see him in the sitting room. I searched for him in the kitchen and was about to knock on the toilet door when I saw him sneaking out of my room.
"Jordan!" I shouted and he halted in his steps.
"Why the hell do you have a handful of kit kats?!!"
