5 Chapter #5: Doubt On Reality

{JUNGKOOK'S POINT OF VIEW}

My ears rang from the high frequency of the sound.

What's happening?

I ran back to the auditorium only to enter in the midst of dark chaos. The barely lights lit couldn't even help the people leave. People were running all over the place and all the chairs were knocked down. Screams traveled all across the room and little kids were crying, their tiny, soft hand attached to their mother's skirt hems, with their cheeks red and tears running down their face while delivering that deafening scream. The press was out of sight, and multiple tables were knocked down. I glanced up at the stage, only to see that the robot was missing and all there was an empty glass panel, and someone's feet are pointing towards me.

Everywhere, everything was chaos.

I searched desperately for my parents in the crowd. My mom was nowhere to be seen. But as I scanned the area, my eyes stopped at the door. He was heading towards the exit in front of the platform. My dad was looking at me, eye to eye. He hadn't met my eyes coincidentally. He knew where I was and he was leaving me. He turned, pushed the bar to open the door and left. Without any hesitation, he left me. Even though he wasn't there and if he were, he wouldn't listen, I wanted to call after him.

He knew.

And I knew he didn't.

I went down the stairs of the stairs and down, towards the disappearing crowd in front of me. I heard my name called by a familiar voice. I turned around to see it was Y/N. I was smiling, happiness exploding from my heart, even in the hour of chaos.

She's safe.

Her eyes widen and she pointed at a figure behind and I couldn't hear her yell because some glass object hit my head before I could hear her. I wasn't even in my senses when my body hit the floor.
