55 Chapter 55 – Elsa's Request

Rena dangled her legs in the air while she sat up comfortably on the massage table. She did so until she felt some power of her own return to her legs.

When she was certain that she could hold her own to an extent, Rena put one leg on the ground, supporting herself with her hands placed on the massage table. After a few seconds, she put the second foot down and moved slowly to the side with her hands still on the massage table for support, until she reached the edge of the table.

She was no longer light and unstable at her feet as she felt some minutes back and then she took one step forward. As muscle memory would have it as well as her mind, the image of the pains she endured for the past few months came rushing back and naturally, she put her hand on her back, assuming that the pain was still present even when she wasn't sure if she was feeling anything.
