19 Find Wal...Marko

Not much happened the past week as I slowly got into my new life in this universe.
My days were spent training with Jack and reading books to improve my skills. I still spent some time in the evenings to be Spiderman, but no significant events occurred, so I had only gained two levels taking down small-time criminals.
Still, the stat gains on my status panel are significant. I bring it up again as I have done so many times this week just to look at the constantly increasing numbers.

My status is coming along nicely, with Dexterity being the first to cross the 100 threshold. I had been hoping for some sort of unique skill or perk that many other gaming systems have, but no such luck.
As for skills, I had gained Hacking and Coding skills, which are both at level 18 currently. I have had no use for hacking so far but tried out coding, and the skill is very effective, as I have found out.
I have only read some basic books, but my knowledge is comparable to professionals who work in the field. I wonder how good I will be once I reach level 100.
Other than those two, I had spent some time leveling up my Mathematical Knowledge skill since I thought it would be super overpowered, considering everything is somehow related to math.
Unfortunately, I found myself disappointed as once I reached level 25, the experience gain had almost come to a standstill, and the effects had been dissatisfactory. I was hoping for some incredible bonuses, but all it did was turn my head into a calculator and make it easy to remember formulas.
Moving away from all these numbers and skills, today I have a plan which is to look through surrounding research facilities for places Flint Marko could have ended up at after escaping prison.
I heard from Gwen that the police had lost track of him at a restricted research site in the city's outskirts, but I have no clue what direction he went in, and there are quite a few sites to check out, which is why at 8 in the morning I am already in my spider suit and swinging through the city.
To narrow things down, I searched up the prison Marko had escaped from and started combing the research sites nearest to that facility first. When not finding anything regarding Marko in those sites, I moved my way outwards, going to further places for clues.
Unfortunately, even after hours of searching, I found no signs of the man. Quite a few of these places I finished were shady as hell though to the point that I have no clue how they are still operating.
One research site even had men in high-tech gear patrolling the perimeters and opened fire on me the second I got near the place. Worryingly the outer fence had giant signs reading, "Tinkerer's territory, keep out!" on it.
Seriously how can that place even legally operate?
While escaping the bullet hail and making my way to the next place on my bucket list, I hear a report on the police radio, which I have left playing in my ear the whole time.
"We've got incoming reports of a giant human-shaped sand monster walked through the streets of downtown Manhattan towards Chinatown and wreaking havoc along the way, requesting all nearby officers to go help out."
Well looks like Marko is already out of whatever equipment he fell into and is going for a little trip to Chinatown.
Wait… I think Gwen said she was going to Chinatown with her dad today… what a complete, not stupid, coincidence!

Note: Sorry for the silence past few days. I just flew back home to visit family for Christmas, and I don't have my computer with me, so it's a bit inconvenient to write. Oh and right after the holidays it's exam season so you know...fuck me I guess.
Plus, I'm writing two other stories at the same time, God's Cafe, my first story, and a RWBY fic based around the confidant system from Persona (Still in early stages and not uploaded).
I don't have a schedule or anything, so I just write whatever I feel like at the time, and recently that has been my other two stories since I went pretty hard on this one in the beginning.
