1 The Sea Prince

This story will not only be on Inazuma Eleven but also a slice of life with a few other animes and such that I might incorporate at some point. Also, if you didn't read the summary, the character looks like Haruka Nanase from Free!, though he is younger-looking. I just couldn't find a good image of when he was a kid.

Also, a question. Do you want me to give him specifically an Avatar? I'm fine with anything, but I'll leave it to you guys. If it happens that you do want him to have one, it will be something that makes him unique to everyone else. Meaning no others in this story will have one other than him.

Finally, while this will follow the story of the original Inazuma Eleven story timeline, I might end up making some characters from Orion and Ares appear at some point as well.

▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

Kogami Aruto.

A young boy at the age of fourteen. Young yet incredibly talented in the worldwide sport known as football, otherwise known as soccer to others. Some people are born talented, some work hard to gain the skills they have now. For Aruto, he was both. He was a natural talent at the sport, and also trained hard to become the best.

As of right now, he could be seen walking calmly through the streets as he held a soccer ball underneath his right arm. He was a young male with fair skin and a lean build, though the lean muscles could be seen on his arms due to him wearing a black tight t-shirt that had a horizontal blue stripe around it.

He was also wearing a pair of black shorts that reached a bit past halfway down his thighs, along with a pair of black and white running shoes. He had straight neat black hair along with a pair of calm royal blue eyes. Finally, over the top of his shirt was a white hoodie, and he had the hoodie up and covering his head.

The main reason for him even wearing the hood was to block out the sun, it was pretty hot out after all. The hoodie may be keeping him a little damn warm in this heat, but he would prefer to deal with that than risk getting damn sunburnt even if he put on sunscreen.

He was actually very much used to the heat since he always goes for long runs in the morning and also training in the parks every day for a few hours. A number of those days were extremely hot, but he got used to the heat over time. If anything, it helped him get used to exerting himself in high temperatures.

"Where is he...?" Aruto muttered to himself as he had now arrived at what appeared to be a football field. The place didn't appear to be too occupied, which was understandable as it was still really early in the morning. He looked around before finally spotting someone. "Ah, there he is..."

Aruto walked calmly down the hill towards the field as he was now walking towards a group of people, though more specifically towards a young male who appeared to be a few years younger than himself. Probably around eleven or so in age.

The boy had smooth black hair that was swept to the right, along with having a few of his bangs hanging slightly over his right eye. His eyes being a light sea blue coloration, and having slightly pale skin, though not at all unhealthy.

As he walked on over, he noticed that the boy was practicing some shooting with a couple of other boys that appeared to be around the same age. The boy was the one shooting as each of the others were alternating being the goalkeeper. Along with sometimes having two or more of them acting being the goalkeeper at one time.

"Len."

"Hm? Oh, big bro!" The one now known as Len stopped the ball that was just passed back to him under his foot as he looked over and smiled while waving towards Aruto, who was walking over calmly. The others stopped and turned as well towards Aruto. "Glad you could make it!"

"You did randomly call me while I was in the middle of my morning run." Aruto deadpanned slightly underneath his hood as Len chuckled sheepishly while rubbing the back of his head. "You said you wanted my advice and help with your shooting, right?"

"Yeah, I've been having some trouble." Len sighed as he smiled slightly as he looked at Aruto. "I've been wanting to improve my skills not just for myself, but also for my team. I want to surprise them with this new move I made! I've been practicing it, but I can't seem to get it right..."

"I see... who are these guys then?" Aruto asked curiously, referring to the other males that were just listening to them silently. Len seemed to realise as he soon responded. "O-Oh, these guys are friends of mine from school. They were helping me out with practicing."

"Okay then. Can you show me this shot of yours then?"

"Okay!" Len nodded with a small grin as Len nodded at his friends, who nodded back in turn. Aruto got into the goals as Len lined up the ball, Len's friends all stood on the sidelines and watched as the two faced one another. "Give me the signal whenever, big bro!"

"Got it." Aruto nodded as he then gave a loud whistle.

Aruto watched as Len stomped onto the ball, causing it to bounce high into the air. The ball had an incredible spin on it as Len soon followed after it as he then jumped up towards it, easily jumping more than five meters into air.

[A/N: This Inazuma Eleven, the jump heights and such are honestly completely insane. Expect a bunch of unrealistic stuff when it comes to these kinds of stories]

They all then saw the projection of what appeared to be a number of crimson red shining five-pointed stars appear around him before merging into the ball, enveloping it in a dense crimson light. Len then narrowed his eyes before performing a double spin before kicking the ball down towards the goal with a loud cry.

『Scarlet Starfall』

As soon as his foot made contact with the ball, the ball appeared as if it completely exploded into those stars from before as they were plummetting down like falling stars while leaving scarlet red trails. The stars crashed to the ground before shooting towards the goal at fast speeds.

"There it is!"

"Len's Scarlet Starfall!"

"It's so powerful!"

"Hoh~? Not bad..." Aruto muttered as he gave a small smirk. Though, he soon frowned before narrowing his eyes slightly as he saw the stars shooting towards him. The stars soon came together before speeding up as they were now in range of Aruto. "But, it's badly executed..."

Aruto simply raised his right leg before giving a sideways kick, impacting with the collection of stars as they clashed with him. Aruto narrowed his eyes slightly more before putting a little more strength into his leg, sending the ball right back towards Len.

"N-No way!" Len shouted as the ball rolled back over to his feet after he had landed. He knew that he might not have been able to score off of Aruto even if he wasn't a goalkeeper, but he hadn't expected his shot to be blocked so easily!

"That was indeed an impressive short. However, I already saw a number of errors that happened as you performed it." Aruto stated as he juggled the ball before planting it on the ground under his foot. "First off, you lost a lot of power during the bounce."

"What? What do you mean?" Len blinked and frowned in confusion as the others also seemed rather confused. To them, the ball was going at incredible speeds and held good power in it. So, what exactly did Aruto even mean?

"Don't get me wrong, Len. That shoot had some power in it, but it could have been stronger if you changed some things." Aruto began explaining as the younger brother listened intently. "When the ball bounced on the ground after you kicked it, the impact reduced the power in the ball by quite a lot. While a number of techniques do utilise bouncing the ball on the ground, those moves benefit from the bounces. Yours, however, does not."

"I see..." Len frowned as Aruto tossed him the ball back. Len then looked Aruto in the eyes. "But... no matter what I do it always goes down before it can reach the goal. Even if I wanted it to, the ball moves on its own towards the ground before shooting forwards..."

"It's not that the ball is going down because it wants to, Len." Aruto sighed as he shook his head at the younger brother. Aruto crossed his arms and explained as he saw the confused look. "It's because you send it down yourself with that kick."

"W-What..?"

"You applied an incredible amount of topspin, which in turn is causing a great downwards swerve that brings the ball to the ground much faster than it should." Aruto explained as Len blinked as he looked down at the ball in his hands. "Now, tell me. What do you do if you want to prolong the ball's ability to stay in the air?"

"Give it... backspin?"

"Indeed." Aruto smiled slightly as he responded. "With your particular shoot, the ball not only needs a lot of power to not only slice through the air cleanly, but also enough air time that it doesn't lose power by hitting the ground. Add great backspin into it, that will help its airtime. However, not too much or the ball will most likely go over the goal."

"O-Okay. I think I understand!" Len smiled as he nodded his head in understanding. Aruto was the one that taught him how to play soccer, so he was pretty much used to hearing tons of advice from the guy. Aruto nodded before beginning to walk out of the goal.

"What was your team's name again?"

"Oh, it's the Momoyama Predators!" Len responded as he placed the ball onto the ground before looking up at Aruto. "We recently managed to get a number of other players to join the team. It's kind of rough at the moment since we're not getting along completely well, though I'm sure it'll be fine."

"I see, I hope your team ends out we-!" Aruto stopped what he was going to say when he heard a small bang, which he soon turned his body in an instant before kicking his leg. Len and the others widened their eyes when a ball contacted with Aruto's leg, which the ball was soon sent flying back towards where it had come from.

They all watched as the ball flew back before beign stopped by another person's leg. The person that stopped the ball had jumped up and stopped the ball using the bottom of their shoe, to which they landed back on the ground with the ball now under their foot.

"Wait, isn't that...?" Len muttered as he blinked at the person standing atop of the hill looking down at them. Aruto just frowned and narrowed hsi eyes slightly as he gave a small nod. Aruto then walked up to the edge of the hill and looked up at the individual.

"So, what are you doing here, Fudou?" Aruto stared towards the male that appeared to be the same age as himself, who was smirking down at him. The male in question had pale skin and a brown mohawk-like hairstyle with white strikes at the sides.

The clothing that he wore consisted simply of a greenish-yellow t-shirt along with a pair of dark green shorts that reached below the knees. He also had on a simple pair of white running shoes and cyan long socks.

"Nothing really. Just saw you and stopped to say hi." Fudou smirked as he looked down towards Aruto. Fudou kicked the ball up and down as he then added. "Good to see that your instincts didn't dull at all. How long has it been, two months?"

"Sounds about right." Aruto scoffed as he smirked back at the male. They appeared to be glaring at one another as Len and the others seemed nervous at the rather tense atmosphere. "If I remember correctly, that was when I kicked your ass in a little one on one."

"Tch. You got lucky."

"Lucky? Is that what you're going to blame your loss on? Luck?"

"Jackass..."

"Takes one to know one." Both Aruto and Fudou glared at one another with hateful gazes in their eyes, though those looks soon vanished as they smirked at one another. While their interaction seemed tense, they didn't really have bad blood between one another. If anything, it was more like mutual respect in one another's talent.

While Fudou wouldn't admit it, he knew very well that Aruto was probably quite a bit better than him when it came to overall skill in soccer. He had more power, faster speed, better reflexes and flexability, and more. However, the only thing that Fudou could say they match one another in was strategizing and commanding on the field.

Of course, they both had their different ways of going about that, though there was no doubt they were both as talented in those two fields as one another. They met entirely by chance at one point, and it ended up becoming a neutral friendship between them.

"I think you need to learn a lesson."

"Spoke the words right out of my mouth!" Fudou shouted as he kicked the ball towards Aruto. Aruto just scoffed before he kicked it back with the same amount of power. They continued kicking it back and forth towards each other, the previous kick as powerful as the previous. The ball didn't even touch the ground as they did this.

Len and the others just watched with widened eyes and hanging mouths as the two players were rallying it as if it was a tennis match, but with a soccer ball instead. The loud bangs from their kicks spoke volumes of how powerful the kicks were.

While Len was definitely much more talented in comparison to others his age, he still didn't stand a chance against the more talented older kids in Junior High or Highschool. Him even having his own Hissatsu at his age was already incredible.

It was known within the soccer world by a number of people that Hissatsu aren't normal shoots at all, they are far mor complicated to accomplish then shut a normal or irregular shoot. That's why this generation is such a jewel that so many young soccer players, mainly that of the age of Junior High students, know and have their own Hissatsus.

The exchange between the two lasted for a few seconds before they stopped, with Fudou being in possession of the ball as he flicked it up into his hands. He then scoffed with a small smirk as he turned around. "Until we meet again, Kogami."

They just watched as Fudou walked off and out of sight.
