The end of an uneventful lifed (P2)

It was another ordinary school day, and here I'am snuggled up in my bed. I hear a whisper in my ear telling me to wake up,

"Marie, it's time to wake up~"

. As I slowly open my eyes, I see Aki my childhood friend's face near mine with a soft smile.

And I said,

"Mornin', Aki~"

While still half asleep, I gave Aki a big hug. Then she giggled and lifted me in front the bathroom, pating my head gently to wake me up. I then got down and readied my self for school, whilst she made my breakfast. As I left the bathroom half naked wiping myself of the droplets of water, Aki hurriedly went and covered me with a towel, with a blushing red face and said,

"Come on Marie, you should cover yourself when there are people in the room!"

I respond with a drowsy gaze,

"But your the only person who see me like this."

Aki then reddened more and helped me to hurriedly where my clothes. With that done she placed the food she's prepared for me to eat. Just a light breakfast as a start, mixed fruits vegetables and some chilled milk just the way I liked it.

As I was done eating Aki cleaned up and we began to be on our way to school. While walking to school we had a small conversation.

"Hay, Aki what do you think about the legendary futanari girls?"

She then chocked at the sound of my words for some reason and replied with a flustered look,

"W-what's with the sudden question?"

"Cuz' I read a yuri manga that had one in it and it got me to wonder if they are real."

"Oh, so that's what it was, yeah they are real"

Aki then made a small sigh at the end of sentence and patted my head as we continued to walk. We then arrived at school and went inside our classroom and sat in in our respective seats. It was still early and only a few students were present. I then asked Aki if we could get some little snacks, and she responded with a nod. So we went to a near by convince store to get some.

After with that done we went on our way back.

"Marie, we better hurry back it's already time for school."

"Yes, Aki~"

It was then when we were about to head back, there was a commotion from somewhere that had loud breaking sounds. When I was about to cross the road there was a rampaging truck with a driver who has lost his sanity. Just when I was to be hit it seemed time slowed down. Aki jumped to save me, calling out to my name, but met the same fate as me.

I thought to myself that, 'You didn't have to put your self into danger to help me' and when I was about to shed tears of remorse. It came to my mind that it was so cliché that I, rather than that sheded tears from cringing.

I was thinking it to be an ordinary every day, but it was only the beginning of my new adventure.
