His POV

It's mid-November and it's getting colder and colder outside. I love winter but it seems like winter doesn't love me back. I used to play in the snow when I were little and I would love to do that till now if I weren't just buried with all of the paper works that have to be done.

I am currently sitting on my Tesla when my phone rang. Only a handful of people know my personal phone number so who among them could be calling me?

I picked up my phone and was about to answer the call when a small black box in the passenger's seat caught my attention. I picked it up. This is the newest design of the wireless earphones designed by our company. I guess now is the right time to put it in a test.

I wore them and immediately connected them to my phone which stopped ringing already. A few seconds later, it started ringing again. I answered it and I immediately heard the voice of my vice president.

"Sir, the board is already here. They arrived at 9:45 in the morning, I instructed them to go to the conference room and wait for you. No worries you still have 7 minutes to get here sir." Daniel said through the phone.

"I like this new ear buds. The sounds quality is good and it doesn't hurt my ear, it feels comfortable. When are we going to release the promotions for this?" I asked while speeding up to my company. Let's see if I can get there within a minute.

"Oh, you are currently using it sir? According to my schedule, it will be released next week Friday." Hmm, that's fast. "Where are you right now sir?"

"I just arrived at the building, I'm going to enter the underground parking area now, talk to you later." I said before ending the call.

"What, you're already here?! But you were a few miles away just a minute a-" I guess I drive pretty fast today.

I parked my car and boarded the elevator quickly. I have five more minutes. I can make it. After a few seconds I finally heard that 'ding' sound.

Daniel's POV

I can't help but think about the reason why the Board of Directors is extra early today. Sure, they really have to be early, but this early? I don't want to accuse them but they sure are suspicious. Most of the time, they would arrive five minutes or even a minute before the scheduled time. One time, they were even late for one minute and thirty seconds! The president got so angry that the meeting lasted for 3 hours. It was scary.

I'm lucky to have him as my boss. He is not like the world describes him to be. He almost have everything, there's just one thing that he doesn't poses, and that's a-

Ding!

He's here! He's always on time. "Good morning sir." I greeted as I nod at him. He's currently taking the buds off of his ears. Wow they look so nice! It would be great to own those, if only I have enough money to spend on them.

His POV

I nod my head towards my secretary who is now my vice president. He is a hard-working man with a good heart, he deserves it.

After putting the buds to its case, I handed it to him. "Hold this for me. You can also test it out then give your opinions to me afterwards." Shock was evident in his face. I knew he always wanted to buy things for himself but he never did because he's earning for his sisters education. I love giving bonus sweldo to him but he never did prioritize himself.

I often give him our products as a gift on special occasions so he wouldn't be able to say no. Not that he can.

"Uh. Yes sir." He then stretched his arms to get the buds from me. "Sir, about the board of directors…" he whispered. I know what he's going to say. "I know. Keep an eye on them." The motive of the board is currently unclear but I'll get to the bottom of it. I know, they might have changed, but this fast? I'm not so sure.

"Copy that, sir." Daniel said as he open the door of the conference room. I walked in with a different facial expression now and with a different aura. They all stood up as a sign of respect. I walked past them and sat on my seat.

"Let's begin."
