2 Before the fall

"Boss, this time you really outdid yourself" Mustard, one of Emperor Dart's attendants praised "Now before the next calamity comes, even the next generation will be ready."

Dart laughed it off. "Its nothing. If only those so-called kings could have come along it would've been more efficient"

"those peace of sh*t. if they had come along the price for eradicating this chaos wouldn't have been so heavy! It is heavy for a whole shelter to shoulder, let alone one Man! When we return we should chase those leeches out of office" Mustard said in a long wind.

"Its ok, to face a god level calamity head on has no gene merit. It will take about a year for my energy to return. If kings are to loose power too then managing the shelter will become more troublesome" Dart explained. This is the same excuse that the kings gave him do that they won't follow.

"You are too considerate Emperor Dart" Mustard praised in adoration.

Dart simply smiled at the gesture "Look, we are already home" he said, as the northern gates to his empire came to view.

Not long after, they flew in through the gate and the system announced "Welcome home emperor Dart" and as if in warning

Dart Empire system: "Emperor Dart has returned, pay your respect!"

The system was a consciousness that was born of energy and data. It cannot be used for things spying and forensics, but it indeed has its uses.

The guards opened the gate without any check. This is because the carriage and signature of the Emperor cannot be pirated. The emperor hardly made an appearance, but it goes without saying how powerful he is. With a look, he could destroy a whole domain and the king within. Of all the emperors known to their shelter, Emperor Dart was the only one that really do not need guards, hence he has no personal guard.

Emperor Dart does not need guards or an army to stabilize his position, or control his empire. He alone can-do whatever damage to anyone in his empire remotely from his throne without even any residue energy damaging the environment. With so much power, even though the world has fallen to lawlessness, no fool dared oppose his reign, nor did any other Shelter dare declare a war.

In as much the people did fear the Geno power of the emperor, they practically worship him from the depth of their heart. They do not see the Emperor, and many cannot even make out what he looks like, but his influence was undeniable.

For example, in as much the emperor does not accept tax at the shelter level, they lived better than all 31 shelter around them. Even though their shelter was as big as USSR of the ancient times, and their population over 2 billion, he would build any infrastructure from his throne using telekinesis, pyrokinesis etc to make them.

Alas, the Emperor was always busy so the 13 domain kings handled the people's personal request. If they were a case too much for the domain level to handle, before it can be taken to the emperor. But notwithstanding, in terms of development, security and food, Dart shelter was by far leading the other 31 shelters. As Darts carriage flew towards his building, every subject who saw it knelt.

Since the beginning of the domain, and the stat of the world system, the power level man has attained was "half immortal" and only our MC attained this level. The leveling is as follows.

Each level has its attributes. The higher you go, the higher he energy one's body can handle. These energies are allocated as points. Though stats can be affected by equipment, circles and tools it is the leveling of genes that really count.

Scrap was the weakest of the bunch. As it is the everyday human. The way people make use of the points was free hence there are no official class setup by the system. The other 31 emperors in their continent were at most Sky gene level while all king starts at Master level. Only in Dart Empire did Sky level become kings.

There are so many attributes that one can fill in points, thus the reason why class are not official. These class are;

Strength (lifting, jumping, attack)

Speed (General, specific, fitness)

Vitality (Health, stamina, healing factor)

Wisdom (Understanding, mind capacity)

Power (total energy pool)

Intelligence (Learning speed, processing speed,)

Defense (interface, special body)

Increasing the major increases all the sub with it. For example, if one put some points in Strength, then lifting, attack and jumping will share the points evenly. Increasing the jumping will efficiently increase the jumping power. Those who did this in addition to the specific on legs served mostly in the intel companies, the carriers to be specific.

Putting points in sub attributes can be rewarding, but when people did this in excess, in as much that they surpass other people in the same Geno level in this aspect, they had fatal flaws. A former king of the 11th domain, invincible ice queen Eve put most of her points in vitality, and in excess healing factor. In as much, she cannot be killed(easily), she cannot defend people on a physical level. When she battles, she makes use of dangerous tools that are so powerful that the wilder receives damages just by holding it. This became her style and class.

Ice queens' style, was an example everyone can be different without class configurations.

As Darts carriage flew towards his residence, he could not help but frown. In his present state, those so-called kings will betray him. He knew their nature. He could only hope that the god stones work.
