2 Wedding
Knock! Knock!
A knock snapped her out of her thoughts...
"Katttyyyyy!" a sweet voice called out to her. And she turned her head to look at the person.
Her heart warmed upon seeing the person whom she was tenderly closed to in her past life - Rose Ainsworth, the one and only precious daughter of the Ainsworth Family, the youngest of them all.
She smiled upon seeing her best friend - whom was always there with her throughout her marriage with Alex. She managed to swallow down her tears as it would somehow worry Rosie. But of course, the girl still caught it.
"Awww, don't cry! You will ruin your make up for God's sake!" Rosie said while nearing Katarina to hug her.
"Thank you, Rosie" Katarina expressed her gratitude while saying that, as she usually would do so in the past.
"Come on, girls should be happy in their own wedding!"
And with that, Katarina eased up a little bit with Rosie's encouragements.
Actually, she doesn't feel giddy or happy or nervous about her wedding right now like she did in her past life. Right now, all she is feeling is relief.
Knock! Knock!
Another knock sounded out on the wooded door.
Rosie opened it and Katarina's Father - Viktor Romanov.
Rosie noticed and immediately said goodbye to Katarina to excuse herself from father-daughter pair.
Silence engulfed after the door was shut.
The first one to break the silence was Katarina.
"Father..."
Well, she also missed her father greatly in her past life. Even if the two wasn't that close.
"Katya, congratulations on your wedding." Katarina's Father-Viktor said it rather stiffly not knowing what to do afterwards. Although it appeared awkward, Katarina can feel his concern and care upon those words said.
Katarina didn't seem to be bothered after hearing those words twice but this time, instead of just nodding coldly she flashed a light smile towards her Father and said "Thank you, Father".
It cannot be helped between those two as they rarely interact at home due to multiple reasons.
In this life, Katarina was willing to change everything she regretted in her past life. She is willing to change anything and with that, resolution shone in her beautiful enchanting eyes.
Viktor seemed to be slightly surprised at the way Katarina responded him. He expected her to be cold as she would usually treat him.
Well, he was slightly glad on the inside.
Afterwards, an assistant came in and told them to go to the venue.
Viktor extended his arm and Katarina complied.
While they were behind the flower curtain that would open to the aisle, Katarina could feel her Father's tension.
When the wedding bells rang throughout the church, the curtain of lowers opened revealing the aisle into which a breathtaking young man who appeared very domineering can be seen at the end of it.
Although, Katarina already have seen this picture in her past, she could not help but be mesmerized but this time a different light shone in her eyes when she took a look at the man, which was and is her husband.
