1 In the World of Date A Live

As usual, I was lying on my messy bed while reading the final volume of my favorite light novel, Date A Live.

I had already finished reading it all over again, and as always, when you're obsessed with the storyline, no matter what, you'll read it over and over again.

"——My name is Yatogami Tohka. An important name given to me by an important person. —–Isn't that nice?"

As the last line finished, with a sigh, I closed the light novel and threw it in the corner.

The feeling of emptiness overtook me as I gazed toward the ceiling.

For a proud Otaku like me, watching Anime, reading light novels, and playing games were everything.

After all, I must live up to the Otaku standard.

Life is so boring like this, there's no doubt about it. But I was too bored to even start something new.

Sigh.

With a sigh, I slowly get up from my bed.

"I better go out for a walk."

I said to myself and opened the door and went downstairs, perhaps, walking outside, even for a little while, would refresh my mood so that I could start watching some new Anime for this summer.

As I got outside, I felt a cold sensation running down my spine. Raising my gaze, I rubbed my hands due to the chilliness in the air.

"Man…just how long has it been since I came out?"

A year or two?

Damn, it was hard to even make an analysis.

Ignoring the thoughts, I started walking to the bookstore with the hope of finding some newly released light novels.

*VROOM* *VROOM*

"Hmm?"

Abruptly, I heard a noise coming from my left, and as I turned my head, I noticed a truck at a rapid speed approaching me.

Noticing this familiar occurrence, a sharp grin shaped down my face as I commented,

"Nice, am I going to another world now?"

But since I had yet some marvelous Anime to watch, I jumped forward and luckily managed to dodge the truck-kun isekai attack.

"Nice try, truck-kun but a proud otaku like me still has some work left to be done. Maybe next time!"

Acting like a chuunibyou, I snickered and turned around to pace forward–

"—Ugh?!"

Unfortunately, a sharp pain ran down my spine as I flew forward and fell flat to the ground with a spattering of blood all over the ground.

"Huh?"

I was left dumbfounded after getting hit by something even after dodging a truck-kun.

"You okay, kid?!"

I heard a shrill voice as I gradually raised my gaze and noticed a man running towards me.

"He…he…I managed….to dodge…truck-kun…yet car-kun…spoils my…plan..."

I smiled over my own stupidity, but shortly, my eyelids started getting heavy.

Ah! I was about to die, right?

Damn! There were still some Anime that I wanted to watch! Well, maybe in the next life.

Within some seconds, the only thing that I could perceive was darkness.

"....."

'Hmm?'

I sensed someone calling me.

"...."

'What?'

I tried to respond, but that voice was so vague that I wasn't able to hear it.

"Open your eyes."

Abruptly, I heard a sagacious voice as my eyes opened up on their own.

As I opened my eyes, I noticed the endless light and some inexplicable figures surrounding me.

I opened my mouth to say something, but I wasn't able to do so, as if something was barricading my vocal.

"Don't panic. The decision for you will appear soon."

The person in front of me commented.

I wasn't able to comprehend what decision he was talking about, but the feeling of uncertainty surely was growing within me.

I realized that I was dead for sure. Yet, what were all these commotions for?

I darted my gaze around and noticed some feminine figures as well, but the weird thing was, I wasn't able to see them clearly as if something was blocking my view.

*Creak!*

I heard a sound from my left and noticed the opening of a door.

"Go inside."

The man in front of me commanded.

I nodded hesitantly but paced to my left and entered inside.

Many thoughts along with different emotions were running through my head.

I took a long breath, trying to collect myself.

"Oh, Aryan Shreyashi, right?"

"?"

Hearing a soft voice, I veered my gaze to the front, and my eyes were left open as I saw an incredible beauty floating in mid-air while giving me a serene smile.

She was wearing a white sleeveless astral dress in a combo of red and white clothes. Her dress was short and ended just above her knees. To be frank, it was nothing less than an erotic dress.

Her skin was fair as snow, and she had an attractive slim body. Her rosy hair was long enough to reach down to her waist. Her eyes were soft violets.

"You are…"

Finally, my voice returned, and I called out.

"My name is Riana Jinsei, the Goddess of Reincarnation."

She replied while approaching me.

"Doesn't that mean you're going to reincarnate me in another world?!"

I exclaimed since the curious cat within me had already gotten out.

Hearing my testimony, she tittered and nodded, saying,

"That's correct. Since your deeds aren't bad, I'll reincarnate you in any world that you desire."

Hearing her statement, a grin shaped down my face as I replied,

"Then…I want to go to the World of Date A Live."

Of course, I know that the world is dangerous but an Otaku like me already has his plans ready.

"Oh? Are you sure?"

She asked while placing her fingers on her chin.

"Absobloodylootely!" 

I gushed, adding,

"However, I have some requests as well."

"Alright, go ahead. I'll grant it if it's within my range of power."

She smiled.

"Well, I don't want to reincarnate there as a baby, but at the beginning of the story. Also, I need you to make me strong enough to take any challenges head-on."

I requested.

"Hmm, it's a little difficult. But if you really want to be reincarnated at the beginning of the story, then it is possible, but there are some conditions to it."

"And that is?"

"Perhaps, the story won't be the same as you read in the light novel or Anime."

She replied.

Perhaps there might be some reason. I didn't mind asking, but I said,

"It's fine. Then, I leave this to you, my goddess."

I wasn't sure whether all my wishes would be granted or not, but it was worth a try.

After hearing my wishes, she mused deeply in her thoughts and shortly replied,

"No problem, but since you're going to take part in their journey, you have to take on some responsibilities as well."

"No problem."

Without any hesitation, I replied.

Heck yeah, as long as my wishes are granted, what's the problem with having some responsibilities? After all, with great powers come great responsibilities.

Seeing my enthusiasm, a serene smile shaped on her face, she commented,

"I'll tell you when the time comes, but for now, try your best to protect those that need your help."

This line felt so cliche, but I just nodded.

 "Well then."

She raised her right arm, and a spherical orb surrounded me as my body started fading as the goddess called out,

"Metalonia—The Life of Systika!"

Soon enough, the darkness started surrounding me as I heard,

"Take good care of yourself in this life."

It was the goddess' words, and shortly, my consciousness vanished.

As I opened my eyes, I noticed a vast screen in front of me.

[Material Coding]

[Surrounding Estimating]

[New Identity Analyzing]

'Is it some kind of system?'

I pondered after seeing these statements running on the screen.

Also, what kind of good deeds had I done in my past time? Why don't I remember? Well, never mind.

[Identity changing]

[Aryan Shreyashi——> Aryan Itsuka]

'Itsuka? Am I going to be a part of the Itsuka family or what?'

I wondered.

[Siblings——> Shido Itsuka, Kotori Itsuka, Emily Itsuka]

'As expected. But wait, why is my real-life sister there?'

I did say that the world's setting is up to her, but why did she do something like this? 

[Create an Aim]

"What? Aim? Is it necessary?"

I asked.

[Create an Aim!] 

Sigh. It seems like it's crucial to do so.

Hmmm…let's see.

Suddenly, a thought crossed my mind as a sharp grin shaped on my face, and I commented,

"I aim to take down DEM and everything that becomes a hindrance in my life."

[Aim Created!]

[Knowledge of the World has been sent to the host]

[Power has been transferred into the host's body]

[The system is taking its leave then]

"Leave? Already?"

I raised my eyebrows after hearing this.

[New world:- Date A Live]

[System will meet up to host soon]

Creak!

Shortly, the screen vanished, and so did my consciousness.

"Ummm…"

I felt a strange sensation in my chest.

Slowly, I opened my eyes and saw a familiar ceiling.

"Have I arrived?"

I called out in a low voice.

*Creak*

"Hmm?"

I shifted my gaze to the left as I heard a noise—

"Get up!"

"Gawh?!"

An agonic roar came out of my mouth as, out of nowhere, two figures landed on my belly.

I felt as if I might cough up blood.

"See? Your face looks so amusing, bro."

"Are you going to cry?"

I heard two familiar voices.

While trying not to show my pain, I gradually raised my head and noticed two girls in their teens standing on my belly with proud smiles shaping their faces.

One had long blonde hair, while the other had red, both tied in twin tails. Their eyes were crimson. Though one of them had a mature body, while the other was still under development.

"E-Emily…Kotori…seriously….?"

While trembling in pain, I growled, signaling them to get off me.

"Oh? Looks like our brother wants one more, right?"

"No! I'm Awake! So, Please! Get off me!!"

Hearing my painful scream, they giggled but, fortunately, jumped on the floor.

Ah...why this is the first time I get while arriving here?

"Well, breakfast is ready, so hurry up."

"Or else you might get nothing."

Commanding me as if I was their slave, both of them went back.

"What the hell…?"

I was left flummoxed by their behavior. Actually, I know Kotori fits the way she talks, but Emily? She had become completely different from the way she used to treat me. I thought perhaps her behavior would be the same, but even her behavior changed. 

Sigh.

With a sigh, I get up while growling.

Damn, my belly hurts as if it'll tear apart!

"Hmm?"

As I darted my eyes to my right, I saw a mirror there.

I noticed that my appearance was exactly the same as it was in the real world.

Jet black hair, and black eyes, luckily, my hair has gotten better, it's straight and short of messy. Oh, I looked kind of nice in this way.

While caressing my hair, I looked outside the window, towards the sky.

"How nice it feels here. I'm feeling as if I got rejuvenated. That's awesome."

*Sizzle* *Sizzle*

I noticed the flow of endless energy within me.

A grin formed on my face as I added,

"Let's see how this life will be…In the World of Date A Live."
