Two years later.

Right now, Sakura was having a full-on brawl against her teacher, Hayato.

Sakura had made a choice before, one that had altered the course of her destiny.

*Fouish*

She dodged his punch with ease, as he had told her before that he was using enough power to be around her level, otherwise, she wouldn't even be able to spar against him like this.

Sakura had accepted Hayato's request to train her two years ago, and over the span of these two years, various things had happened ranging from normal to outrageous.

As she had come forward and accepted to be taught by him, not knowing how her life would change soon after.

'Who knew I would someday become this strong?' She thought to herself as she charged at him, her hands adorned by a weird metallic black color.

Not to mention she wasn't even sure if everything he had said was the truth back then, since it was just so out of this world.

But…

During these two years of training that she spent with him, Sakura had become more at ease around Hayato, her feelings growing stronger with each training session, each shared moment.

She was just comfortable enough to be around him, and each time that feeling got stronger until it reached today's time, where she wasn't sure about her own feelings anymore.

'Teacher Hayato…' She saw the small smile on his face, and she couldn't help but be happy herself.

As for Sasuke? Let's just say, that once her teacher had her meditate on her own thoughts back then, she couldn't help but understand how stupid she had been before.

'I wanted to force a childhood obsession with how handsome Sasuke was to be accepted as love…'

She knew now that she was ignorant. Her eyes glinted as Hayato guarded her punch, which led to a shockwave exploding in the area where he was punched, but she continued and swung to deliver a side-kick.

Yet, amidst this whirlwind of emotions, as she reminisced about the past there was a challenge she had to face now – a battle for graduation against none other than Hayato himself. Her respected handsome teacher.

As the sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows across the training ground, created due to the space being able to be manipulated by Hayato, Sakura and her teacher stood facing each other.

Hayato had just raised his knee to guard her side-kick. A shockwave ensued after the impact yet her teacher appeared unharmed just like her earlier punch.

Their gazes locked, and a charged silence hung in the air. The wind rustled the leaves of the surrounding trees as if the very forest held its breath in anticipation.

Sakura had honed her skills relentlessly under the guidance of Hayato.

Her chakra-enhanced punches and kicks were a testament to her dedication to training before, but now her mastery of taijutsu, the art of hand-to-hand combat, had reached new heights.

"It seems what I guessed earlier was true. Your taijutsu alone has surpassed even my previous disciple Naruto." Hayato nodded with satisfaction.

In terms of hand-to-hand combat alone, she would beat Naruto. But he would of course beat her if he used other things.

Sakura smiled with pride.

"Thank you, teacher" She bowed her head a bit in respect.

"No need to thank me Sakura, this is all your hard work being repaid," Hayato gently replied.

She shook her head with a smile but didn't speak. She only thought about it.

'If I didn't meet you, what good would my hard work do?'

Hayato then beckoned with his hand.

*Ting*

His arm became black all of a sudden.

"I taught you more than this, no?" His smile was provocative and she gave him a snort before her own arms turned black.

With a determined expression, Sakura charged forward, her fists blazing with chakra and her body cloaked in Haki.

She struck with precision and speed, her attacks a blur of motion.

Hayato, of course as her teacher, was no slouch either. He deftly evaded her blows, countering her precise strikes with his arms.

'How strong is his body and haki?' Sakura couldn't help but wonder, as she had rained thousands of strikes on him but he appeared fine.

Their clash was a dance of power and skill, their movements so fast that they left afterimages in their wake. Sakura's heart pounded with a mix of determination and a lingering desire to prove herself to her teacher that she had grown stronger over the years. She had to prove herself, not just for her own sake but to show Hayato how much she had grown.

Minutes turned into what felt like hours, the battle a grueling test of her abilities against her teacher.

Sakura pushed herself to the limit, unleashing her most devastating techniques, but Hayato remained a step ahead. His own strength and cunning were formidable, and Sakura knew she was up against a truly remarkable opponent.

After all, he had only dodged and guarded against her own attacks, while occasionally making her fall by sweeping her legs.

As the final moments of the battle approached, Sakura launched herself at Hayato with fierce determination.

She threw a barrage of punches, kicks, and strikes, her chakra and Haki-infused blows creating shockwaves that shook the ground beneath them. Yet, despite her incredible efforts, she couldn't land a single decisive hit.

In a moment, Sakura gathered some strength and decided to go for more advanced techniques like her teacher wanted her to. With a ferocious yell, she threw a final, powerful punch that didn't connect with Hayato.

[Emission]

Yet it managed to send him skidding through the ground as he crossed his arms for more defense.

It wasn't enough to defeat him, but it was enough to make a point on her side.

Then Sakura followed this by once again concentrating and this time when he guarded her, she used the second advanced form of haki.

[Internal Destruction]

This attack finally managed to make Hayato emit a grunt, showing some kind of damage.

Of course, he recovered soon after, but it was enough for Sakura.

Breathing heavily, Sakura watched with bated breath, as Hayato brushed his clothes.

Sakura herself had her clothes torn and her face marked with exhaustion,

She and Hayato stood apart, their eyes locked once more. With a smile, Hayato announced:

"You've graduated, Sakura." Hayato was happy for one more student to graduate. And it was none other than Sakura.

As for how she was able to use Haki, that was due to the Universal gym student training system that was in place.

It scans the students once they are accepted and delivers a reward that is the most suitable for them.

For Sakura this was Haki. Both basic observation and armament, which she used plenty during this fight.

Meanwhile, with Sakura, her heart soared, not just because of her victory but because she had proven herself to the one she admired most.

As the reality of her achievement set in, Sakura couldn't help but wonder if the path she had chosen, the path that had led her to this moment, was the right one after all.

Seeing where she was now, she was relieved her past self had chosen this.
