CHAPTER 5 : Boat accident

After escaping, Alex took Oconnell to the hairdresser for clothes and weapons. At the hotel where they stayed, Alex gave him a room so he could take care of his bath and other needs before meeting the group in the lobby.

Alex came to the lobby after taking care of O'Connell and saw both Eve and Jonathan talking seriously. Jonathan also saw Alex and stopped talking and came directly to Alex and asked

"Alex, how did you get those in the box?" asked Jonathan as he saw the previous scene.

"Well I obtained them from previous adventures " Alex lied without batting an eye

"Do you still have many of them?" asked Jonathan eagerly

"Well I have them at home," said Alex

"Can I see them?" asked Jonathan

"Well not now, we have to go to Hamunaptra," said Alex

"Where is that vulgar man?" asked Eve

Alex smiled as he said, "Well, he's in his room. Do you not like him?".

"I did not like him at all he is vulgar not handsome and a scoundrel --------------------" Eve stopped in the middle of a sentence and saw O'Connell who came out of his room seeing this Alex teasingly asked.

"How is he ?"

"What are you talking about?" asked Oconnell

"Well nothing about Eve and your marriage," said Alex

"What !!!!" both Eve and Jonathan exclaimed

"It is a joke now let's go by boat for our journey "

Saying he caught Jonathan and dragged him away leaving both O'Connell and Eve alone they both looked at each other and both followed Alex. Eve was in her room and thinking about the morning incident when it became night. She became angry and jumped onto the bed to sleep.

Meanwhile, O'Connell and Alex are dealing with Benny. O'Connell's friend who betrayed Oconnell and what punishment to give him and O'Connell throws Benny to the sea.

"Is it okay to throw him like that?" asked Alex

"Well it is small for what he did to me," said Oconnell

Due to Alex's stats being 10 times that of a human, he sensed someone approaching and said

"Oconnell, bring Eve and her luggage out of the room"

"What do you want to do now?" asked O'Connell with a confused look on his face.

"Now is not the time to talk about it, the boat is about to catch fire, "said Alex.

"What ? how will the boat catch fire?" asked O'Connell

Why would a boat catch fire when everything is normal?

"Get her and bring her now because this is the last time I will say it," said Alex seriously

After seeing his serious expression, OConnell did not say anything. Alex did not know how many Pharaoh guards were coming and he did not want his teammates to be in danger. This is real life, not a movie, meaning anything can happen, so he cannot take any risks. Then, Alex went to Jonathan who was playing with Americans and dragged him away while he walked over to O'Connell who was holding their luggage.

"What is going on?" asked three of them

"Jump into the river now," said Alex without giving them any explanation.

"Are you kidding me, Alex?" asked Jonathan.

This is night, why do you want to jump in the river?

And at the same time, gunshots could be heard from inside the rooms, along with the American people's shouts. The sounds became increasingly louder and louder as Alex came to Eve and O'Connor's side, lifted both and threw them into the river, then turned towards Jonathan.

"No need to throw me, I will jump," said Jonathan

Seeing Jonathan also jump into the river and Alex jumped into the river coming to the top of the water while swimming Alex said

"All of you swim to the shore and forget about luggage"

Swimming for a while they reached the shore and gasped for air, fell to the ground and saw the burning boat. The Americans were all fleeing when a shout came from the other side of the river.

" O'Connell! O'Connell! see even if through me into the river I am safe "

"Idiot benny you are on the wrong side of the river for our destination," said O'Connell smugly

After hearing this, Benny realized he was really on the wrong side and stopped speaking.

"We lost all our equipment and our luggage. How can we reach Hamunaptra now?" exclaimed Eve

"Well nothing to worry we can buy luggage and clothes nearby as for equipment we have OConnell for that," said Alex

The group gave Alex a strange look and asked him

"How do you know the boat is going to catch fire?" asked O'Connell.

"Do you want to know?" asked Alex

"Yes we want to know," said three at the same time

"Don't tell anyone about it" as Alex the three of them listened carefully

"It is a secret," said Alex playfully

The three of them had the urge to punch Alex in the face when they saw his face.
