"Don't cry, Moonlight. My dear."

"Don't cry, I will always be by your side. Always."

"If...If I died, I want you to remember me okay? I will look at you from up there."

"Remember me. I love you"

Were the last words that she heard from her mother that passed away under her arms. It haunted Moonlight for all these empty years without her mother. Her father left. Moonlight has no one anymore, but her older sister, that is out of the way. She drinks, have boys come over, goes to parties, and rarely cared for her little sister. Moonlight, She was the one to, every time she comes home drunk when she gets sick, and mostly is the one to work for their safety.

If I could define sadness, I'd define it by Moonlight. She is too young to handle all the sadness that pressured and darkened all her days.

At night. Clouds took over the grey sky, and rain has decided to do its venue. Winter has finally commenced. It was Moonlight's sixteenth birthday. On 12 December. She was sat huddled in front of the window. Her chin placed on her knees, while her both arms wrapped around her legs. Her eyes appeared teary thinking about her mother, and those impeccable memories with her. She paid to the tiniest things now, the fact, that all the rest of her days, she won't see her mother, she won't feel the love, and she won't sense the presence of having a family. Or friends. She always wanted to have friends, but her phobia has prohibited that, the phobia of socializing. Her insecurity prisoned her from opening up and talk straight, cause the fear of being judged, embraced her life. And heartbreak, even though her fragile heart is already broken.

She stretched her arms then brushed her hair back to a tiny ponytail due to her short black-colored hair. She closed the curtains, then sat on the mattress waiting for her sister claire's messy arrival, as she's expecting for her to come home drunk.

And of course, she did.

Moonlight had to collect her again to her bed, her sister completely passed out and unconscious. She battled herself to keep her maintained around her tiny body due to claire's heavyweight. The smell of alcohol terrorizing Moonlight's nostrils. After she succeeded to lay her down on the mattress. She took off her jacket and shoes, then she covered her body with a warm blanket

-Do you want to eat anything? Moonlight asked. No response.

-I said do you want to-

-Just leave, Claire harshly scoffed. Moonlight sighed then deserted her room, before turning off the lights, and head towards her small room beside.

On Tuesday morning, Moonlight woke up for school. Did her usual morning routine. Her sister stills snoring and deeply dreaming. After, she made her breakfast. And wrote a note then plastered it on the counter.

"Eat well, and don't forget to bring me back from school at 5 pm, I don't have enough money to pay the uber driver back home, love you.

-Moonlight. "

Later, she exited the apartment. And paid for the taxi, following her way to school. Then, she finally arrived. And dropped off a thank you to the Uber driver, with her usual sweet smile, which usually hides miseries. But it softens hearts.

Moonlight has studied at the same school for years, but she still is considered an invisible creature or a ghost. Nobody has spoken to her, only those that usually want her to do their homework, or help them in the exams, and just accomplish their favors. Taking a good chance of her soft naive personality.

She was sitting on her usual class seat in the back, alone. Surrounded by classmates that were shattering, and laughing out loud, taking the benefit of the teacher's little absence. While Moonlight was letting her thoughts getting over-flowed by the clouds. Her mind completely numb, but her heart still grieved for her mom's loss.

A couple of minutes ago. The teacher has finally entered the classroom but not alone he was accompanied by someone quite...special. That has grasped everybody's attention in this room. Even Moonlight's.

The appearance of a special-looking guy, with such hostility and charisma, appeared. Gasps and whispers splashed everywhere. With his sexiness and hotness, he already made hearts throb; He had long-short black colored hair, sharp pretty eyes. His jawline was sharp as well. White as snow, and his plumy lips red as a rose's petal. And his body was perfectly shaped. And tall. Looking like someone that every gender would starve for.

His unreal beauty was toxic yet charming, Moonlight somehow got hooked by his entrance. She narrowed her eyes, examining him. Her heart stopped beating, yet only, she looked at him.

-Hey class, we have a new classmate today with us, here. The teacher looked at him gesturing him to represent himself. He sighed and deposited his gaze on the students, whose souls crazily crashed through his glance.

-I'm Asher.

As soon as he spoke, the warmth and huskiness of his voice probably capsize the most seated and matured heart of every girl in this classroom.
