This is the story of two residents of The Arcadia Apartments: Sarabi Nimue, who lost her eye sight during The War, and now left with long scars on her face, as a reminder. And her neighbour, Vasili Novikov, an exiled War Veteran with no honor regarding his country. They have to face prejudice, hardships and many problems that society will throw at them.
