5 What is a Tribrid

Klaus-"Wait, what?"

Everyone in the room was dumbfounded due to having a bomb casually dropped on them. Silver just stood there letting them just absorb the new information that he just gave them as he asks the dazed Hayley if he can feel her stomach so he can communicate with the child, being still a bit dazed she lets him.

Silver-'System please create a link between me and Hope to make it seem like I am a mentor figure to her and that I will always protect her, which I will.'

Suddenly Hayley felt something strange when Silver touched her stomach, after a couple of seconds she felt like as if the baby was releasing a sort of aura as if she felt safe and loved. This gave Hayley a sense of gratitude because she had a feeling as if this young man before her will be a sort of big brother figure to her daughter.

After a couple more seconds Klaus realises that Silver is the touching Hayleys stomach but both himself and Elijah can feel the aura radiating off the unborn child. But this doesn't stop Klaus from telling Silver to back off.

Klaus-"Oi kid mind backing off I still don't trust you."

Silver-"Of course if your reputation precedes you, you don't trust anyone, barely even your siblings."

Hayley-"He's got you there Klaus."

Elijah-"That he does"

Everyone proceeds to snicker as you could see steam starting to come off of Klaus' head.

Silver-"Don't worry I would never do anything to Hayley, let alone the child. By the way, why do I feel like someone is missing."

???-"First of all that would be me, second of all who are you?"

Said a soft feminine voice belonging to the one and only Rebekah Mikaelson.

Elijah-"This is Silver Grant, and he seems to be the new protector of the new baby."

Klaus-"Did you not just hear me I said I don't trust him, who gave you permission to allow this mere child to protect my child."

Hayley-"I do, don't ask me why it's just a gut feeling, and I trust my gut."

Klaus-"Are we just going to ignore the fact that he just stated that he is the first Tribrid."

Elijah-"No we are not, first of all, would you mind telling us what is a tribrid."

Silver-"Why of course, A tribrid is a being with a mix of bloodlines, like you Klaus, you are a hybrid meaning two bloodlines, a mix of werewolf and vampire. Except a tribrid has three powerful bloodlines that compliment each other perfectly. For example, both me and your child have vampire, werewolf and witch in us."

Rebekah-"Wait so what you are telling me is that you and the baby are pretty much like Klaus, who is jacked up that extra step more giving you the ability to use magic."

Silver-"Yes that is exactly what I am saying, as Elijah said the names Silver, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Silver personally introduces himself as he gently grabs Rebekah's hand and kisses the top of her hand

Rebekah-"Names Rebekah, and the pleasure is all mine."

After a short introduction of who Silver is, he gets another notification.

{Sir the wolf's witches are trying to locate you again what do you want me to do.}

Silver-'Block them' "Hey Hayley do you mind telling your fiance to stop bugging me with his little witches, the first time was alright, second time gets a little annoying, the next time I might send them a little warning so please do inform him about me."

Hayley-"Eh, why would Jackson want to locate you"

Elijah-"Remember what I told you yesterday about there being a mysterious and powerful being that was sighted in the Bayou, well that was Silver."

Hayley-"Wait that was you, what was this about what looked like a crack in the fabric of space"

Silver hears this and gives a quick questionable hum.

Silver-"Do you mean this" 'System open a portal to my pocket dimension'

Suddenly before Silver, small golden cracks appear out of nowhere enlargening before him creating a portal. This scene causing everyone to be dumbfounded again when Silver notices this he gives a little smirk before telling the system to close the portal.

Rebekah-"What in the bloody hell was that"

Silver-"That my dear was a portal to my pocket dimension"

Hayley-"You can do that?"

Silver-"Honey you don't know the half of it."

After a couple of hours of Q&A from the Mikaelsons Silver looks at the time and sees that it is 12:32 pm so he stops the ever questioning Rebekah and turns towards Hayley and asks her.

Silver-"Hey Hayley I'm feeling a little hungry how about you, would you like me to make you something since me and you are the only ones in the room who can eat human food and enjoy it, unless you guys want me to cast a spell to allow you guys to enjoy the food properly as well?"

Hayley-"I would love to but it looks like the others are fine."

Silver-"Ok what sort of food do you feel like."

Hayley-"I don't know, seafood?"

Silver-"Sure do you want to come over to my place so I can make it since I have all my ingredients there."

Klaus was about to protest before Hayley sent him a glare and agreed to go with Silver.

Hayley-"If it makes you feel better Elijah or Rebekah can follow in a car behind us and take me back once we are done if that is alright with you of course Silver."

Silver-"That's not a problem, so who is following?"

After a little discussion, it was disused that Rebekah would follow and come because she was a little interested in this mysterious young man who just seemed to pop out of nowhere.

The rest of the evening was pretty anticlimactic after they arrived Silver invited them in and guided them to the living room to wait and chat while he cooks. He makes beer-battered Alaskan Cod with sweet potato fries and a salad on the side, he asks the system to allow Rebekah to properly enjoy his meal which gains her gratitude as this is the first good meal she has eaten in over a thousand years as when you turn into a vampire your sense of taste for foods is severely weakened causing them to not enjoy food as much as blood because to their tastebuds human blood is a delicacy and animal blood is like fast food. After the meal, they all chat together for another couple hours before Rebekah gets an urgent call from Klaus asking where is she and if she and Hayley were alright as it had already been 4-5 hours since they left the compound. They all laughed at Klaus before telling him that they will be there soon. Everyone says their goodbyes after exchanging phone numbers. After cleaning up Silver has a shower and went to bed.

Silver-'System can you set the same alarm as this morning for tomorrow'

Silver-'Tomorrow is going to be a big day, here in New Orleans the Hope Mikaelson will be born and in Beacon Hills, Scott McCall gets bitten. So much happens in one day, I've got my hands full, I guess I will stay here in New Orleans and when Hope is born I'll go to Beacon Hills.'
