Death of the King!

HOPE KINGDOM is filled with rich resources and rare mines availability which made many kingdoms and races fight for occupying them as their own resources but there was no result only a endless war between kingdom against kingdom , races against races which resulted in death of hundred of thousands people and even some races were completely wiped out .

The orcs who were in no man land was only interested in fighting and pillaging . The dwarf were greedy and stingy but they are neutral race who didn't like to engage in wars . The goblins would always invade other races for resources and the prideful Elves who resides in deep forest rarely come out from their home .

And then there was humans who fought themselves to become a single human Empire .

Wars become common these days while people trying to lust for the more resources and conquer other kingdoms. Ultimately the HOLY kingdom was divided into several parts where human occupied most of it.

Soon all the races retreated to their respective territories to gather their forces and wait for a perfect time to counter attack .

Only human races started to fight internally to become a human Empire .

Blaze Kingdom

In the king room , a bunch of physicians were gathered around the sickly king who was about to leave the world permanently. The king was 115 years old now and his internal organs were not functioning properly which resulted in him getting to this state now.

Everyone knew that they couldn't save their king so they could only do their best to fulfill his Will and last wish .

The king slowly opened his eyes but he could only half open his eyes and even he can only see blurry things .

He slowly said in a weak manner

" Darius....F-from now on you w-will.....be loyal to the New king-g.."

A hunk like person who had red eyes came infront of the King and kneeled down while saying

"This loyal servant will fulfill his majesty wish till I have last breath in my body "

The king became silent and looked at his left side with difficulty.

There were three youth Who are looking at him with sadness and tear in their eyes . Two prince and one princess who were the present heir to the king . The oldest was 26 year old , while the second Prince was 20 year and the late princess was 18 year old .

According to the Blaze Kingdom tradition and rules , The next king should be one of the heir from the current king bloodline but if there is no heir for the current king then he can select a New king within his royal family and no matter what only the bloodline from the royal family can be the heir for the throne and not outsiders have that qualifications.

It not only applies to Blaze Kingdom but to every human kingdoms too . Of course if a kingdom conquered the other kingdom then they can make anyone as king as long as they won the war.

Among the three princes only two of them are fit to be the heir for the throne . The oldest prince , Aaron who was famous for his kindness and intelligence was best for the throne and he was even the direct son of the Queen so he was the most suitable candidate for the throne.

The second Prince was not that much to talk because he was always plundering the wealth of the kingdom by gambling , spendthrift and on women . He was famous for his evil deeds and good for nothing life, So he wasn't fit to be the king . Even if there was no heir other than him the King would rather choose others than him unless the King wanted to have his kingdom destroyed .

As for the third princess she was immature and not good for current situation . If she fell into the schemes of others and one day she may get married into other kingdoms or worst is that some people may use this as opportunity to swallow their kingdom , Wiping out her bloodline for once and all.

So only Aaron was suitable for the throne but the king felt that Aaron was still lacking in a little . He wasn't ruthless enough and his kindness may bring calamity if he forgive his enemies . But the King didn't want others royal bloodline to inherit the throne so he wanted his own bloodline to inherit the throne .

Ultimately he decided to make Aaron the New king .

The dying king heart beat was started to lose its beating . He knew the time was running up so he gathered all his strength to say his final words before closing his eyes eternally.

"THE NEXT KING SHALL BE AARON UTHER . THIS IS MY WILL ! THOSE WHO DARE TO REBEL AGAINST IT MUST BE KILLED "

As he said that the old former king died .

"Father..."

Aaron and the princess cried in sorrow except the second Prince who didn't even have grief in his face .

The loyal guardian of the old king, Darius kneeled down and protested in front of Aaron

"This loyal slave greet the New king . "

Except the second Prince only Darius who only purpose is to serve the kings of blaze Kingdom didn't show any emotions. His only job is to protect the Kings and he is not loyal to the kingdom but only kings .

Since the old king said the Aaron was the next king then he will be the new Target he has to protect with his life.

Aaron wiped out his tears and said with a sorrowful tone

"Father left us .... uncle Darius from now on we will be in your care ".

As he said he helped Darius to get up and he looked at his brother and sister .

"It's time to held funeral for father . Gather all the people and let us pray that our father rest in peace".

The physicians and guards started to move out while the second Prince left in bad mood and the room was empty except Aaron, the third princess and Darius who was usually cold and silent.

Aaron couldn't help but say suddenly

"Where is aunt ?"
