On August 10, 2013.

An earthquake of magnitude 7.1 shook the whole of San Francisco.

The sturdy gates of hell broke loose as pandemonium descended onto the unprepared humans of San Francisco.

Painful cries of sorrow interweaved incessantly in the chaotic atmosphere.

Raw madness diffused everywhere as if an Eldritch monstrosity had unconsciously displaced a wisp of its fart to this plane of reality.

The tarmacs became Olympic grounds for the terrified citizens to use it for their pumped up adrenaline-induced legs.

The invisible and horrific figure of the custodian of hell - grim reaper - flew around the unsuspecting panicking masses as it harvested souls meant to 'chill' in hell.

A random guy had the skull of his head crushed by a falling debris and all of his brain matter and gore spilled out like a fountain.

A larger portion of the confused people were thrown into the Pacific from unimaginably great heights, only to have their bodies, bones, and internal organs crushed mercilessly under high velocity impact.

A loving couple had their vacation car wrecked and mangled to the point that it looked like a car crusher had been used to exert tons of force on their car.

People were suffering simultaneously under the descent of the apocalyptic doomsday.

And all of this was happening on the Golden Gate Bridge.

It was like the events of the Final Destination movie were replying themselves in this reality.

And the cause of all of this... was a ginormous 302 ft, one ugly motherfucker of a Kaiju with a head shaped like the ax of Kratos.

Hard-looking and very thick, scaly black armor covered its gigantic body and acted as its skin.

Its height towered over the famous bridge of San Francisco.

Its huge claws made one thing of a velociraptor, a predator from the Jurassic era.

And they weren't there for decoration as they could effortlessly cleave through the Golden Gate Bridge.

The ax on its head easily divided the bridge just like the Exodus events that occurred in the Red Sea.

An unforeseen enemy that humanity wouldn't have anticipated even in their wildest dreams, was brazenly carrying out a ruthless massacre on its inhabitants like a braindead young master on steroids.

The monster roared its joy of victory while stepping on and crushing those little, insignificant ants on its way.

How dare they?

How dare they block the advent of this daddy after being set loose to wreak havoc? It roared ferociously and from its huge-ass mouth, a bioluminescent glow could be seen.

This daddy is free and will do whatever he wants, its mighty roar rumbled while it passed through the dissected path on the Golden Gate Bridge, heading toward the more populated area - the city.

With a stomp of its feet, it exerted 2,780 tons of its body weight onto the little buildings on its path.

My ancestors told me that this will be my training and that the path of the strong is laden with blood and bones of the vanquished, Trespasser roared with pride while shoulder-tackling a nearby Skyscraper.

I, your father, Trespasser... Another stomp... will finally become an expert!

With its revered huge strides, it had almost laid ruination upon all of San Francisco city and it was heading toward the next city - Sacramento.

I haven't massacred enough ants, the blood on me isn't enough to make me an expert, Trespasser's roar rumbled and it felt like the heavens would fall down any moment.

I will not disappoint my ancestors!

-O-O-O-

I was watching all of the mayhem that Trespasser was causing to the residents of San Francisco at the comfort of my home.

The earthquake of magnitude 7.1 or its brazen destruction didn't affect me in any way.

My base was engulfed by defensive force fields capable of negating any kind of concussive blasts.

In addition to that, I had also integrated cloaking technology that could block out everything from the electromagnetic spectrum and that included visible light.

"Tch, why does this sad occasion seem like a day in the life of a Korean main character?" I chuckled.

"Jin Woo? Kang Jinhyuk? Isn't this the part where you make a dramatic entrance, worthy of a main character, from a teleportation gate while casually pocketing your hands?" I let my imagination run wild.

"And with a cool line like 'Arise' or with just a finger pointing at the enemies(black air force energy), the dungeon/gate/tower arc ends before it starts." I couldn't handle it and keeled over in my seat while dying with laughter.

I am a truly uncaring bastard. Sue me.

I was laughing while thousands of lives were being lost and the death toll was still increasing.

After calming down, I got serious. "Even though I am a heartless bastard... I can't stand the presence of that young master as it wantonly runs amok like a roguish dog."

"Don't forget I also need its flesh for in-depth analysis. There is no way I am not dipping my hands into Kaiju biology." I cackled evilly while thinking about the experiments that I will do with my soon-to-be dead specimen.

I watched in detail as the military started to deploy its tanks and jet fighters that kept on firing useless weaponry on the Trespasser.

In fact, it only increased its aggression.

"But isn't it too slow and filled with unnecessary pounds of flesh?" I analyzed the movements of the Kaiju.

And I arrived at my final evaluation.

"Too weak."

I had a lot of missiles created and if one of them leaked to the outside world, those competitive world governments would do anything to one up their rivals.

Was it the cold war or something?

"From atomic bombs, nuclear missiles, thermonuclear bombs/H-bombs..." There were so many.

"Heck, I even have the prototype of Oxygen Destroyer, an invention of Dr. Serizawa."

But I definitely didn't have planetary-level bombs.

Just imagining something like Uranium PU-36 Explosive Space Modulator from Looney tunes made me... smile inadvertently.

"San Francisco is already a lost cause. If I deploy something like the Oxygen Destroyer then all of life would surely cease to exist." I deliberated over my choices.

"Then, there is the issue of some lucky survivors."

"The Thermonuclear warhead will vaporize everything either by radiation or blast." But at least I had high hopes that there would be some salvageable flesh left.

"The Atomic bomb wouldn't probably work the way I want on that hideous creature."

An image of Thanos appeared in my mind.

"A small price to pay..." San Francisco's ultimate sacrifice would save other cities.

There wasn't any kind of malice or feelings showing in my blue eyes.

I was just doing humanity a favor like a typical antihero.

"Yelena, bring Annihilus-X online." That was a thermonuclear warhead deployment satellite.

Of course, I had to own my own satellites. They were my first step in space adventure.

"Affirmative."

"Bringing Annihilus-X online. Connection established."

"Lock on that Kaiju. I want it blasted together with the already ruined city." I commanded coldly while looking at the jet fighters being blasted apart by mere movements from Trespasser.

"Deploying a Thermonuclear warhead from space."

"3...2...1"

"Fire!"

A virtual screen appeared in front of my vision showing the missile's trajectory.

"I hope there won't be a butterfly effect of any kind."

I watched in silence as a brilliant dot broke through the earth's stratosphere and gravitated at unimaginable speeds toward the Kaiju.

"Alea Iacta Est." I muttered as the brilliance of the 'Kaboom' illuminated everything in existence.

Checkmate.
