2 Grace "Faith" Summer

Even though Grace Faith Summer told a white lie to Tobias Washington, it does not mean she does not care about him. Yes, Faith was not married, but she was engaged but broke off her engagement because her fiancé was verbally abusive and cruel. They also had a nasty altercation that took days before she had even met Tobias. Faith did feel guilty for not being completely honest with Tobias. She had a feeling that they were going to be together, which is a feeling she did not sense for her fiancé. Shame, humiliation, sadness, and other emotions were what Faith felt when she was with Frost Dreamer, her fiancé. In public, Frost would be a synthetic person to Faith by being kind, polite, and respectful to her. Once they were home, his true colors would appear. Frost found being verbally, physically, and mentally abusive to Faith entertaining.

“Woman, where are my food and drink?” was the saying Frost would say to Faith most of the time. Other times Frost would say, “woman, when are we going to sleep with my friends or with other women, or he would call her an impure woman. Frost would also say, when are we going to sleep together.” Also, Frost would say I want to see you get together with my friends.

Faith did not feel safe around Frost; if anything, she felt that her life was at risk. Faith once got a punch in the face for not cooking dinner because she was exhausted from coming back from work. Another time Frost bruised her so severely she got forced to call off from her job because the pain was excruciating. Faith decided to be brave and stand up for herself because she was tired of being abuse mentally, physically, verbally, and emotionally. Faith’s decision to stand up for herself leads to a disturbing fight between her and Frost. The battle had involved a lot of punching to the face, legs, stomach, and private parts. But there were also kicks involved, uses of broken glass to cut the arm, legs, thighs, and so on—Frost felt agony when he got kicked and punched in his private area. Faith also had felt soreness when she got slam to the ground hard. She thought she could not escape Frost and his abusive behavior because she thought no one would listen to her.

All Faith wanted when she was growing up was to meet the love of her life. Faith wanted someone who would love her and show her respect. Faith thought that the guy she was dating would be considerate, but instead, they were arrogant, egotistical, and jerks. The boy's Faith has dated only seen her as a trophy they won in a competition. Faith has an athletic body meaning she was in good health and great shape. Faith has a great body, and she has long, fiery red hair and a perfect smile since her teeth were perfect. Faith got raised in a Christian home. Faith always enjoyed listening to worship music and reading her bible.

As a young lass, Faith had enjoyed worshipping God by singing in the church choir. Faith always went to Bible studies to learn as much as she could about God and Jesus. A bible verse that caught Faith's interest was from Romans 6:23 that says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” From the New Kings James version. Faith was interested in another Bible verse: “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”-Ephesians 4:31-32 From New King James version.

Growing up, Faith got taught that losing her virginity had to be with someone who would appreciate you and love you for who you are.

Faith’s friends had convinced her that if she were to have sex that God will forgive her. When Faith had turned sixteen, she remembered the conversation she had with her friends that God would forgive her if she had sex. That conversation was all Faith needed to be convinced to have sex. All her friends were having sex because they were not Christians by practice. But because of their parents. At first, Faith did not feel comfortable is she lost her virginity because of how she got raised as a Christian. Faith prays, reads her bible, goes to church with her family, and is a worship leader in her church's young adult group.

When Faith had decided to lose her innocence, she felt guilty at first because she was going against everything she got taught and valued. Faith felt the guy's private part in her private part. Faith felt a lot of pain because it was her first time sleeping with some. Faith did not like the feeling she was feeling because it was painful for her, and what made it worst was sleeping with someone she knew from her school. As Faith was trying to get off the guy, his private part kept thrusting inside her. As time kept going, Faith was getting used to sleeping with someone. When Faith got done sleeping with someone, she freaked out for two reasons. The first reason was Faith noticed blood was coming out from her onto the bed because Faith did not realize she was going to bleed a little after getting her hymen popped. The second reason Faith freaked out was because she instantly regretted her decision to have slept with someone whom she did not love. After they got done sleeping together, the guy sent Faith home; all he wanted was sleep with a beautiful girl.

When Faith left the guys home, she did the walk of shame because she was not proud of her decision. Faith had wished she just waited until she found the love of her life. Faith truly wished she did not feel peer pressured into sleeping with someone when she knew it was wrong and against her moral belief. All Faith had wanted was to be like her friends and not feel like an outcast. Faith, when she arrived home, she got into the shower to wash off the disgust she was feeling about herself. After Faith got done showering, she got into her bed and started to cry silently because of her shame. Faith did want to tell her parents that she had slept with someone because she did not want to disappoint them or hear about it; we all learn from our mistakes. Faith saw the guy she slept with from the previous night and did all she could to avoid him like he was the plague, and she did not want to become ill. Faith made a stop at Walmart after school had ended to pick up a pregnancy kit. The name of the item she got is Clearblue Rapid Detection Pregnancy Test, two count.

Faith did her research on using the pregnancy kit; she knew if she saw the plus sign, that meant she would be pregnant, but she would be relieved to know that she would not be pregnant if she saw the minus sign. Faith took the pregnancy test because when she had got her cherry popped, she was not on birth control and could not remember if she gave the guy permission to let his white thing go inside her. Faith did not want to give birth at sixteen years old, let alone have a child from a person she does not know well or love. Instead of using the bathroom located in the hallway, Faith used her parents' bathroom to pee in their toilet to get her results of whether she is pregnant or not. Faith was nervous about getting her result of either being pregnant or not because she felt lost either way. If Faith got pregnant, her parents would notice how her stomach grew more significantly and got a bigger appetite. But if Faith were not pregnant, she would have to notify her parents to take her to the doctor's office because she cannot remember if the guy she slept with used protection. Faith believes they slept together without any protection, which means Faith is afraid of being exposed to getting a virus or a disease if they never used protection.

Luckily, luck was on Faith's side because she got the result was hoping for, which was not to be pregnant. Faith shed tears of happiness because she was not pregnant, but she also let out tears of unhappiness because she still needs to get tested for any viruses and diseases. Faith was considering if she wanted to inform her parents that she lost her virginity. Since Faith was irresponsible for having slept with someone, it scared her of getting a pregnancy scare. Faith knew that being secretive would cause her parents to be suspicious even though she is always open about telling her parents anything, even if the consequences are awful. Little did Faith know that her being secretive caused her parents to suspect that their daughter was hiding a secret from them but unsure what it could be. Faith parents did not care about what their daughter may have done as long if they could talk with each other as a family.

Faith's parent's names are Calloway Bruce Summer and Brooklyn Maddie Summer. At one point, they started questioning themselves when they stop communicating as a family? It was just a few days ago that everything was fine between them as family. Calloway and Brooklyn started noticing their daughter's strange behavior, and it reminded them of a time of their childhood when they kept secrets from their parents around Faiths' age. Faith had never kept anything from her parents. There was a time when Faith needed money to buy some clothes and tampons for her periods but was embarrassed to ask, and she did not have the money that she snuck into her parents' room and took a one-hundred-dollar bill. Faith's parents just told her when she needs money to come to them because they would have given her the money.

Calloway and Brooklyn never told their daughter Faith when they were teenagers; they always got in trouble. Calloway and Brooklyn were in their rebellious phase to where they did not want to take any orders from anyone. Calloway Summer had gone to jail for aggravated assault because before Brooklyn Maddie Ward became his girlfriend, they disrespected her by calling her derogatory names to call any woman. The cops had gotten summoned to the scene because growing up, Calloway got taught to respect girls, and he would not tolerate someone disrespecting his potential future girlfriend. Calloway grabbed one of the guy's arms and did a straight armbar, and when Calloway did the technique, Calloway broke the guy's arms. Calloway also punched the guy repeatedly on the face until he went in and out of consciousness.

Calloway was not aware that Brooklyn was a submissive girl when they met. Before Brooklyn had met Calloway, she thought she was worthless and not worthy of any love. Brooklyn was ashamed that she was super submissive and complied with any request given to her, such as doing any sex position. Brooklyn wished she waited to have slept with Calloway. Calloway was aware that Brooklyn had lost her virginity when she was thirteen years old but did not know she was very submissive and obey every command given to her. Brooklyn feared that if Calloway found out about her past that he would not value her or respect her as he does now. Brooklyn was very timid and scared of saying no because she remembers when she was younger, her mom used to get hit anytime, she would say no to her dad. Brooklyn did not want to lose her friendship with Calloway because she valued that friendship a lot.

Calloway was the first person who treated Brooklyn as a person and not as a property that belonged to someone but as a human being. At that moment was when Brooklyn told herself that she is worth respect and needed to find her self-worth to be treated with respect. Brooklyn had seen some inspirational quotes on how to be confident. One of the quotes came from the bible book of 2nd Corinthians 12:9, "And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. "Therefore, most gladly, I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me." New King James Version. The other quote that inspired Brooklyn was from the first lady Eleanor Roosevelt that goes, "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the things you think you cannot do."

When Brooklyn decided to tell Calloway about her previous life, she was ashamed because she felt if she had told Calloway earlier in their relationship, he would not be in pain like he got stabbed in the back. Calloway knew Brooklyn was not a virgin; he was not in pain because he expected Brooklyn to be a virgin but because she slept with many guys, and she was never direct with him about her sex life until now. Calloway was straightforward when he told Brooklyn that she was his first girlfriend and the first person he had lost his virginity with.

Calloway and Brooklyn had taken their daughter Faith to the doctor's office even though they had no idea why? Calloway and Brooklyn thought it would be a great idea to talk to Faith about their adolescent years so Faith could open to them about what is going on with her. To Calloway and Brooklyn, surprise opening to Faith did not work, but it made Faith scarred instead. Faith did not want to hear about when her mother slept with many men when she was young. Faith did not want to know how her father went to jail for beating the crap out of a person for being overprotective about Brooklyn, who is the love of his life. As parents' Calloway and Brooklyn want what they think is best for their daughter Faith while Faith is figuring out her sexuality and learning about who she is.

When Faith had told her parents about why they had to take her to the doctor's office when she younger, she was an adult who was living on her own. Faith confesses to her parents' the week when she turned sixteen, she had slept with someone from school but had felt ashamed and could not communicate with them because she did not want to be a disappointment to them. Calloway and Brooklyn were more disappointed that their daughter Faith felt like she could not communicate with them. They told Faith that they would have supported her when she needed them the most. Faith answered by saying she did not want to scare them if she had gotten any disease or viruses from sleeping with someone because she fell victim to peer pressure since her friends were sleeping with boys when they were sixteen years old and did not want to be an outcast.

Faith now feels like her conscience is clean, and she is not feeling guilty anymore for not telling her parents about when she had made love for the first time and why they had to take her to see a doctor. Faith's doctor had to draw blood out of her arm and have Faith urinate in a cup in front of him. Faith's doctor had to thoroughly examine her body even though she felt extremely uncomfortable because she was very exposed. She preferred a female doctor looking at her body and not a young male doctor.

Faith felt ready to see Tobias Washington because she does not want to be in a more toxin relationship like how she had been with her old boyfriends. Faith is currently leaving a toxin relationship with Frost, who will be her ex-fiancé. Faith was not sure how she would see Tobias again because she never got his residency address, but he had her home address, and she felt it was weird he had not reached out to her. Faith is getting excited thinking of Tobias because of the moment they met, and she felt love. Faith is telling herself that Tobias is nothing like Frost, let alone like the men she has liked or dated.

When Faith and Tobias had seen each other a second time, Tobias had made the first move because, unlike last time, when he froze and panicked, that caused him to run away due to fearing rejection and being nervous. Instead of Tobias freaking out, he spoke to Faith even though he kept staring at the engagement ring on her ring finger. Tobias gained his observation skilled from when he had serviced in the military. The first word that came out of Tobias's mouth was, "I am sorry I am staring at you. I just saw you were the most attractive woman." Faith replied, "Hey, I noticed you had been staring at me for a long time."

Faith's father, Calloway summer, was very aware of Frost Dreamer's abusive behavior towards his daughter. As a father, Calloway feels obligated to protect his daughter Faith at all costs, but at the same time, he does not want to intervene in her love life, but he feels that every person she is attracted to is abusive. As a father and a husband, Calloway intends to protect the women in his life. To Calloway's surprise, he is willing to do anything to keep his daughter Faith safe when if it meant hiring assassins to kill. Calloway is a Christian; he cannot stand seeing his daughter going back to the hospital, not knowing if she would ever wake up again; he does not want to live with worries.

Little did Faith and Tobias were aware that their life would be full of pain and chaos because of the assassins after Tobias, who are known to get their victims even if it meant involving innocent people. They are known as The Red Rain. The Red Rain became known because when they kill their victims by torture or killing them swiftly, their clothes got stained with the victims' blood. According to the legend, The Red Rain has slaughtered an entire village leaving no children, women, or men alive that; all everyone remembers is the sky being covered in red clouds and rain pouring down, thus coming with the name The Red Rain. The Red Rain got their name by cutting their palm with a small blade when it rained heavily due to a hurricane passing through their state.

While Calloway was looking thoroughly into The Red Rain, Faith was re-giving her address to Tobias to meet up in a more intimate environment to get closer with each other. To Tobias's surprise, when he visited Faith at her home, she had drugged him because not only did Faith had trust issues, but she did not want to be in a position of getting attacked by Frost. Faith had done her research on creating an untraceable drug, which she had slipped in the drink she had offered to Tobias. After drugging Tobias, Faith had gone through his wallet to find his address so she could take him home because if Frost saw them together, it would have been hell for both. Since Faith was not strong enough, she kept bumping into the wall with Tobias on her shoulders, hitting everything in her way. One of the prayer Faith kept repeating so nothing terrible would happen to both came from the Bible book of Ephesians chapter 2, verse 8-9, which says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not that of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." New King James Version.
